He doesn't talk like a normal politician, I think that explains his attraction. He is a great orator, you have to give him that. Of course his positions, yes, are frightening but unfortunately the average American doesn't care too much for ideology. That's why RP faces such a battle, he actually talks about issues.

maybe its just me listening only to what hes saying and not how well he says it, but everything he has ever said ive never been able to actually discern a credible answer to a single question. comedy is his greatest shield, and its not even his comedy, it sounds scripted. if you want to listen to the real, impromptu comedic efforts of Muckabee, all one needs to do is listen to him taunting the dead pheasant for not voting for him.

divide the GOP so Hillary wins. That's who they want to follow GW. Perfect pick, actually. RP is becoming a huge problem for her so they are trying to divide the GOP as much as possible. Watch the possibility of a further attempt of a blow to RP with Bloomberg as an independent.
Their Achilles Heel is how people are reacting, and their solid belief that people are plain dumb. With all their attempts people are actually going more and more toward RP. At least that's what it looks like. In trying to drown us they are drowning themselves and I'm very happy to see their little bubbles come up!!!

Just what I'd been thinking
after the New Yorker puff piece on Huckabee last month, when Republican is a four-letter word there. An RP candidacy would pull a lot of antiwar, anti-corporatist Dems, and the DNC is scared as badly as the RNC. Even if Huckabee got in, they could tell at a glance Tax Hike Mike wasn't that smart and could be easily manipulated into giving the welfare-staters all they want. Huckabee is a win-win for them.

....and I am glad. I thought it was reminiscent of Bush landing on the ship (right off San Diego harbor), swaggering like a lame duck uncomfortably in full flight suit .
Huck looked silly, acted silly, spoke silly. Trivial pursuit by the Old Media as the dollar falls, Jeb Bush goes to Israel (representing who?) and the world falls apart. And, there is Huck looking like Elmer Fudd shooting little birds and joking that they weren't going to vote for him. Worst press I can imagine. Pharma-Media cannot find substance anywhere except with Ron Paul.
