Ron Paul 6% in new CNN poll

Rick Perry: 32
Mitt Romney: 18
Michele Bachmann: 12
Newt Gingrich: 7
Ron Paul: 6
Herman Cain: 3
Gary Johnson: 2
Jon Huntsman: 1
Rick Santorum: 1
Thad McCotter: 1

going from 14% to 6% is worrisome. Even if it doesn't really mean anything... the media will use it to continue to marginalize paul.

Looks like we still have a lot of work to do.

makes you wonder. The only thing that matters now is New Hampshire. All eyes and media will be there. Be prepared, they're seeing that Ron Paul can catch fire, and they'll try real hard, any way they can, to keep that fire from spreading.

CNN and "Opinion Reserch Center" - The Numbers Don't Add Up

Excellent article by Matt Malkus regarding the polling flim-flam taking place

libertymaven is a cool site,

and I think this guy knows his stuff. The Paul campaign needs to extend a hand to get these helpful sites into the campaign camp. They could evaluate any and all polling data and quickly challange the "big boys" like CNN and Fox. The campaign should then get the information front and center with a press conference. You have to beat these creeps with a blunt instrument, called the truth! Let them know that goofy data just isn't going to be tolerated.

I agree...something needs to

I agree...something needs to be done.....the general public has been brainwashed to believe these polls and the slobs that report them as accurate and true.....many people I meet continue to say the Good Doctor doesn't have a chance....they almost always mention his poll numbers. MOst aren't as savvy as we supporters are and don't know the tricks these SOB's are up to!

We also need that as part of

We also need that as part of paying for all our own polls, which is what half the polls you see come out are about.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

If we do our job in Iowa and new Hampshire the poll numbers will go up which will in turn bring more people in..... You do have to talk to your neighbors though - they may be polled

Yes he really goes down...

when you REFUSE to talk to anyone between the ages of 18-49 YOA. This is a crock, just like everything else the supposed MSM puts out. To bad the average American won't give a flying crap about how this poll was put together. To me it just backs up what we all know....they "news" is nothing but entertainment for the morons who watch it.

Eh, Polls don't mean SQUAT, Check out my latest post....

"sometimes I hug the coffee table when no one is looking."

Criminal News Network, they can take their poll and shove it up their anchors giggling ass. Revoke their license to broadcast. These criminals will not succeed in denying us the nomination, people are waking up and the brush fires of liberty are burning.

9/11 was an inside job .....time to get some answers..RP 2012

Poll was commissioned BY CNN and FOR CNN

Specifically so that Ron Paul would look bad and that they could justify ignoring him.

Think about it. It makes perfect sense from theri perspective. The press has been knocked for ignoring him when he is doing so well in the polls. Well, what if he doesn't do so well in a poll.

This was a contrived poll that originally questioned 1,017 but threw out answers from people who were not already either Republican or leaning Republican, those opposed to the Tea Party and those not white.

In other words this poll targeted only hard line traditional neocons. Of course Ron Paul does worse in that group. Thats what CNN wanted.

Be sure to read my analysis on this poll

Please upvote here and spread the article far and wide. This poll is scientifically bogus.

Neocons have been attacking

Maybe this dip is the result of levin rush and beck attacking latley

There is something wrong with

There is something wrong with that site.

Not good.

Sigh, this gives the pundits just another reason to ignore him. My biggest worry is that they are going to keep him artificial low in the polls, and then rigg the elections.

6% is completely bogus.

We'd have to be up by 20 for them to report us 2 points behind.

I was saying it in

the last primaries, Paul will not win without a court case as long as electronic machines are used. I was right then and sadly I will be right again.

The game is rigged, it is called election fraud and the people who control the machines control the vote.

Force them to adhere to the law and force a paper trail as well as the public count that is supposed to happen by law and there is a good chance we will win. Pussy foot around and just hope everything will be alright and a court case is the only way were winning.

The Abuse of Greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power. - Shakespeare

I've brought it up several times here.

I'm afraid you are right.

I am also convinced that we should do everything we can to get the message of Ron Paul out to as many people as possible, regardless and against all odds. If Paul is cheated again and does not get the nomination, than he should run third party platform and we should continue to push him. We have to keep him as long as possible in the race and in the debates, n o m a t t e r w h a t.

You have got to be kidding me. This poll is bull-loney.

Just checking

1,017 people were interviewed and of that group 927 were registed Republicans. Over 800 interviews were conducted on landlines. There is a 3% up or down on the margin for error. Johnson and McCotter are now pulling 3% together from the previous 0% several weeks ago, yet Johnson has not been on the television or in any recent debates and McCotter is virtually still unknown. 99% of the population could not identify McCotter in a room of two Republicans and Herman Cain is the other.

I would not be too worried. I would also change your title.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the reply. Yes,

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I understand how these polls are done and how little they really mean, as stated in the original post.

Why should I change the title?

It's not good news, but it's better to state the facts straight. People will become complacent if we sugar coat reality.

"People will become

"People will become complacent if we sugar coat reality."

Trouble is... this isn't reality:

My thoughts

This is my opinion.

First there is a thread on this already, so I don't think we need to call more attention to this CNN bogus poll. I don't think we will become complacent, as we all know very well there is so much more work to do.

There is also new visitors here daily, so it is great to label articles IMHO in a way that does not show alarm or makes us look panicky.

Again, you are free to do what you want, but you asked me for my thoughts.
