Los Angeles Times blogger goes to bat for Ron Paul and hits it out of the park!

Here's a small tidbit from this article that proves to be a very good read...

"[H]onestly, Ron Paul's straight-faced ability to drive government-loving TV interviewers into incredulity is most entertaining."

It gets better from there!

use caution..

Not praise. He used us last election cycle to generate traffic. He will bash Ron soon enough. Make no mistake, he is not an ally of Ron Paul. Search his name with ron Paul.

While the piece didn't call

While the piece didn't call him fringe or longshot, I didn't think it was all that flattering. It gave some RP quotes that were not very clear yet did not mention the best part of that particular interview with cooper...when RP schooled him about galvaston and the levy which was not build by FEMA (after Cooper tried to gotcha him about how FEMA was needed to put that levy in place.)

Dr. Paul's appointees

I've been able to convert a lot of voters to Ron Paul by reminding them that Dr. Paul will replace Timothy Geithner, Ben Bernanke, & Hilary Clinton, etc with Austrian economists & his people.

Be wary about Andrew Malcolm!

I read a lot of Andrew Malcolm's articles about Ron Paul during the 2008 election cycle. His general pattern is 1 or 2 good articles about Ron Paul and then 1 or 2 (or more) really bad articles about Ron Paul. By bad I mean the type of article that would give RP supporters like us fits. Maybe Mr. Malcolm has seen the light and is changing his tune, but I highly doubt it. I appreciate the good publicity for Ron Paul whenever he can get it. But let's not put Andrew Malcolm on the RP team just yet...he has many more at-bats to come.

yup...

My point exactly. As far as I'm concerned he is a snake in the grass. The kind of blogger that would start rumor or slander to generate stats.

I still respect him. I just don't trust him.

This article well-deserves Front Page status here!

Thank you for bringing this to the forefront it deserves, and to the readership who can best appreciate Andrew Malcolm's keen observations and tactful questions.

Malcolm opens with, "Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul is on his his third bid for the presidency.

A distinctive and refreshing trait of the libertarian's campaigns is that the retired doctor calmly provokes politicians and voters to talk about the political givens they otherwise would prefer to leave alone. Why is the Federal Reserve so powerful and secretive? What benefit do we really get out of foreign wars? Couldn't those billions be better spent at home?"

You are sooo right, Clover, "It get better from there!"

If this article isn't widely read AND spread to everyone; left, right, and Center; then it will be because We dropped the ball; and NOT because Andrew Malcolm didn't pitch it where it ought to connect with the sweet-spot on our bats!

"It get better from there!"

I was so tired last night when I posted this that my grammar and spelling skills were already turned off for the night. I had no idea it would be front page when I woke up with all of my poor writing up for all to see. Needless to say, I did some edits! LOL!

Cuimhnigh orm, a Dhia, le haghaidh maith.

Been there, done that, borne the same self-humor

Notice I didn't correct, nor detract from your intended meaning by adding the "s".

Sometimes my late-night/early morning posts have been best saved until after some sleep before posting.

BTW, what's the interpretation for your tag line? I'd probably agree with you, but I have no way of knowing, eh?

You are the first person to ever ask...

"Cuimhnigh orm, a Dhia, le haghaidh maith" is a one-line prayer in Irish that translates as "Remember me, O my God, for good". Its from the very last verse of the book of Nehemiah.

Cuimhnigh orm, a Dhia, le haghaidh maith.

Repeated three times, for good measure

I guess I'd have to find someone fluent in Irish to help me pronounce it, but I can definitely say, Amen, to that prayer in any language. Here are the three times Nehemiah specifically asked God to "remember" him, not as though He would ever forget.

Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof. Ne 13:14

Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy. Ne 13:22

Remember me, O my God, for good. Ne 13:31

Andrew Malcolm

The greatest thing about this story is the author use to attack/belittle Paul and liberty supporters

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."
Thomas Jefferson

That is an understatement

I cringe whenever he wrote "Ron Paul". I wonder what Bruce Fein paid Malcolm to wruite something nice, that's how rotton Malcolm is ... "I'm melting my grudge, but I don't forget who said MEAN things about Ron Paul!"

thank you

Delightful read.

I like it!

Great!

What a great way

To start my day ! Thank you !
