Am I the only one in the world who sees the 800lb. Gorilla?
Go where I might...read what I may...I have not yet seen anyone in the GOP mainstream discussing the Gorilla that now has them bent over the picnic bench.
How is it that no one seems to understand that fully 15% (or more) of the GOP active base is now off the reservation and moving into the Paul camp. In a normal world, this really wouldn't matter much if a candidate had a minority following, as all would be expected, and rightfully so, to "come in from the cold" at the time of the election and once again support the lesser evil, the "party's" pick.
But NOW? How could they even think that a person undergoing this kind of internal examination of one's own belief system (as we all have done when brought to Dr. Paul) could somehow hit "Delete" in the Absence of Ron himself?
Sorry, that's delusional. No one, who attacks their own belief system with questions the way we have done, emerges unscathed. Instead, we usually emerge profoundly different, possessed of new understanding that melds into a new philosophical dais from which to view the world.
Especially in the full view of the precipice we are running towards, how could they ever think that we'd swallow their pill ever again?
You know what? They can't think it. It is too terrible a situation to know that the Party, as it now stands, will never win the Presidency again. Too many are now awake and the GOP has had it's foundations blown out from under them. Instead of realize it and act to calm the prodigal children, they stand on the battlements and hurl insults and epithets at the townsmen below, those they need to help guard the castle walls when the dreaded Blue hoards attack.
Somebody needs to get to the present "architect" and let him know what's happened. The old one is going on TV and bashing those who will be sorely needed in the future. Maybe they do know what's on the Horizon...I dunno. Somehow they need to be told just how screwed they are and that they'll need to change direction on a grand scale. (Like that will happen)
It's just weird that everybody talks about "Paulite's", Paultards", and "Crazy Supporters" but never what the growth in "those types' really means to the American electorate and the GOP moving forward...massive change has come...that's all I have to say about that.
Finally this election thing is over and we can get on with the collapse of our currency forthwith!
"Don't Tell Obama What's After A Trillion"
I love that sign. Good writing in the article, and an interesting comment forum.
yeh, Don't tell him what's...
....after a trillion because he hasn't (evidently) learned numbers involving only three digits.
O'bama et alalgebra:
We're adding/subtracting alphabetical numbers here %/
A+B=C
"a" (numererically 1)since it is the first letter of the alphabet while "B" is the second letter of the alphabet (numeral value of 2). The letter "C" is the third letter of the code (numeric value of 3). FRIGGIN' FANTASTIC! The code has finally been unveiled!
1+2 = 3!
But wait for a sec. How does it work when A minus B still equals "C"?
Maybe CONgress can answer this question.....
