Why the US was downgraded.

Why was the US was downgraded?

U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
National debt: $14,271,000,000,000
Recent budget cut: $ 38,500,000,000

Let's remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:

Annual family income: $21,700.
Money the family spent: $38,200.
New debt on the credit card: $16,500.
Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
Total budget cuts: $385.

Does this clarify it ?

I hope you'll share it anywhere you can. Thanks.

Tax revenue is only one of many revenues

The US has many revenues. It's actual total tax revenue is at least $10 trillion. Then add all the revenues from lending money, from providing all sorts of intelligence, military, etc. services to countries (what do you think all those military posts are for?), not to mention all the covert operations (drugs, slaves, etc.).

The US probably pulls over $20 trillion. So just add another zero on your Annual family income figure. But still, the government spends a lot more than they say too. And, yes, they are borrowing, but not out of desperation...but for business reasons (borrow at a low rate, lend at a higher rate).

The bottom line is that we don't have the real numbers. We just have the numbers they want us to have.

It is obvious why the gov/media doesn't talk about the other revenues for several reasons.

One: they don't want us questioning the many revenues.

Two: they can pretend to be bankrupt

Why would an organization pretend to be bankrupt? Ask auto unions...oh that's right, they are gone. Pretending to be bankrupt legally and morally let's organizations destroy unions, to scare people into working for less, to manipulate markets, etc.

And gee, the government union is currently being dismantled, people are working harder, for less, etc.

They purposely manipulate the PERCEPTION of our economy to pave the way for these changes.

IMO, Ron Paul knows all this. But he is a master of spinning the spin. He says, "Okay, if you are going to lie to me, I'll use the lie against you."

That is what Paul did with 9/11. Instead of demanding evidence, calling people liars, etc. He used the government's own story against the government (e.g., blowback).

That is what Paul is doing with the economy. By the facts the politicians are giving, Paul figured out ways to pressure the government to do the right thing (e.g., If we continue, the dollar will crash. If we are so broke, let's end this costly war, cut foreign aid, etc.).

But I don't believe that Paul actually believes that the economy is crashing anymore than he thinks that 9/11 was done by middle easterners.

As far as the intelligence

As far as the intelligence and other military services we provide others, we do not receive revenue from that. What do we get then; we get cooperation, supposedly, but we also leverage this power to have some control over foreign governments. We provide so much military support for our "allies" that if, or better when, we withdraw our troops those socialist economic-political systems will collapse trying to make up for our lack of presence. However, by withdrawing we will no longer have power over these other nations, and this is the reason the status-quo doesn't want to withdraw the troops. Also, as those economies collapse they will have detrimental effects on our economy. However, considering the current state of affairs with the world economies, it will only be quickened by our withdraw.

As far as your example of the unions, well I have no idea where you get this from since their budget is available to union members and possibly to the public. The most of the union expenses comes from paying the leaders tens of millions of dollars per year. Do you really think that union leaders making millions of dollars are actually working for whom to get the workers to accept lower pays? How much money would this group have to guarantee those union leaders for life to get them to cooperate in dismantling the unions, which could pay them(the union leaders) millions of dollars per year for life?

One of the other revenues that the government does collect is their share of the FED. As far as anything else I don't know, besides funding for black budget items. The FED is in control of the government and almost all other governments are in debt to the FED. So why would they(The FED) have these other countries pay the US government, which could be revealed and would work against their agenda?

What recent budget cut are you referring to?

When was $38,500,000,000 cut? Was it an act of congress? Super committee?

Ave. median household income $50,220

In 2009, according to the Census Bureau, the average median household income was $50,220. The first four numbers would all go up 2.314 times to reflect the average median household but the $385 would remain the same.

Nobody said this reflects

Nobody said this reflects average median income.

We can thank John Boehner and the traitors in the GOP...

for this. Had they voted against Boehner's budget sellout and refused to increase the debt limit, the bond market might not have collapsed, pulling down the stock market.
