Despite raising the SINGLE BIGGEST DONATION AMOUNT IN POLITICAL HISTORY, Ron Paul is being excluded from a Jan. 6th televised debate on Fox News???

Email away, people! (But please remember to be polite and stick to topic).

This time NOT in CAPS (sorry)
Surely CNN would LOVE to bust FOX on this!!!! Send to DRUDGE too (in lower left-hand corner, let's get this ON THE FRONT PAGE of DRUDGE!!!)
Send them our news tip!!! Copy and paste the following and send to CNN and to the DRUDGE REPORT as a news tip to the web addresses below:
"Fair and balanced??? Fox news bans Ron Paul from the NH Forum!!! Depiste the fact that he has out-raised EVERY other Republican candidate running for President this quarter, has SHATTERED the one-day contribution record for a Republican candidate, and has out-polled TWO of the candidates invited!!!"

PS. THIS WORKS!!! Our office blasted Drudge with the hilarious Huckabee pic (with him and fam in striped shirts) and it went up 20 minutes later!!!
Email away - to whom?
Pleeeeaaase, let's not waste our energy venting anger at Fox News, they'll just use that to paint Ron Paul's supporters as an angry mob. The possibilty of a positive result from flooding Fox's email boxes is slim to none, the likelihood they will spin it into a negative against the Ron Paul campaign is high. With all due respect, we need to contain our anger IMO and think ! This is a gift. Screw Fox ! They have slit their own throats - let them ! Maximize the damage to Fox from the blowback. We should focus our energy on getting Fox's incredibly stupid and outrageous move as much exposure as possible, and on organizing a parallel event that will put Fox's silly debate to shame.
Surely CNN would LOVE to bust FOX on this!!!!
LET'S SEND THEM OUR NEWS TIP!!! COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING AND SEND TO CNN AS NEWS TIP TO THE ADDRESS BELOW!!!:
"FAIR AND BALANCED???????? FOX NEWS BANS RON PAUL FROM THE NH FORUM!!!! DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE HAS OUT-RAISED EVERY OTHER REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE RUNNING THIS QUARTER, HAS SHATTERED THE ONE DAY CONTRIBUTION RECORD FOR A REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE, AND OUT-POLLS TWO OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES INVITED!!!!"

NH First-In-The-Nation Presidential Forum on Sunday January, 6th
FOX News to Host Special GOP Candidate Forum
Thursday December 27th, 2007 11:00 AM by BHDC Staff
Filed under: Scoops, FOX News, Elections
Big Head DC hears that FOX News will hold a special “candidate forum” with the top Republican presidential candidates from New Hampshire on Sunday, January 6th. More details will follow shortly.
Update, 1:50 p.m.: Official release, after the jump:
Five Candidates to Participate in First-In-The-Nation Presidential Forum on FOX News Channel
New Hampshire Republican Party hosts the First-In-The-Nation Presidential Forum only two days before historic New Hampshire Primary.
Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Republican Party is pleased to announce that five presidential candidates have accepted their invitation to participate in the First-In-The-Nation Presidential Forum on Sunday January, 6th, 2008. The 90 minute forum will be presented live on FOX News Channel (FNC) and FOX News Radio beginning at 8:00pm ET, live from the campus of St. Anslem College in Goffstown, New Hampshire. FNC’s Chris Wallace will moderate the Forum.
Fergus Cullen, Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party said, “New Hampshire Republicans are pleased to offer our Presidential candidates an opportunity to speak to voters of New Hampshire and across the country before the presidential primary just two days later.”
David Rhodes, Vice President, FOX News Channel said, “We look forward to presenting a serious discussion of the issues. The Forum will be a vigorous exchange as candidates make their closing arguments of the New Hampshire Primary.”
Candidates confirmed to participate: Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Governor Mike Huckabee, Senator John McCain, Governor Mitt Romney and Senator Fred Thompson

My question is was an invitation from the NH Republican Party extended to Dr. Paul. If NOT our beef is with the NH GOP not Fox News. This is the NH Republican Party that extended the invitations not Fox.

Best thing that could have happened!!!
Think about it friends....and read the other streams where we are discussing the huge positives this could bring.

Remembering our Principles
I emailed Fox that I won't be watching their channel if they exclude Ron Paul. But we should all remember that Fox News is a private company, it is private property and ultimately the decision to invite Ron Paul or not is up to them. By all means let's make our own moves, rallys, etc, but let's not turn ourselves into a emotional mob.
Some suggestions
A few suggestions if I may - besides the mass e-mail/phone calling that is being suggested. So far, I've read that letters, e-mails, national sponsor boycotts have been suggested...here are a few others for submittal:
Contact your LOCAL FOX affiliate and tell them that you will be contacting their LOCAL ADVERTISERS about this to inform them that not only will they be boycotted, you will only use the services of their competitors and will tell everyone you know to do the same until they pull their ads or this corporate censorship is reversed. This approach could be far more effective than going to the main FOX company with their large corporate sponsors (many of whom are neo-cons!).
Contact CNN (Lou Dobbs), MSNBC and other direct competing broadcasters and media to see if they are going to run the story about FOX's RP exclusion...If they are truly competing, this will be something that they would and should jump on considering the size and scope of the issue - if they don't react, this proves they are all in on this censorship together!
IS THERE A LAWYER IN THE HOUSE?
According to the FCC regulations, aren't the airwaves officially owned by the American People and if so, aren't the licenses given out in the public trust? What about a class action lawsuit against this on behalf of the People of the United States of America?

Great Comment!!!! I'm with
Great Comment!!!!
I'm with ya.
Let's do this smart.
They WANT us to blow up.
Be coool.
F$%@$%ck with their heads.
But get the story out.
PS...
The headline on my post was changed, last night.
It used to read: "RP was EXCLUDED from Fox News Forum"
You should probably change it back.
- Erin
Yes
You are right.
(No subject)
Honestly...
...I feel like there is some definite snobbery happening in the ranks, here.
Turns out, THE POST WAS TRUE! So despite my "newbie" status on THIS particular blog, I knew what I was talking about. All indications point to Fox excluding RP.
Just because I recently registered for THIS blog, that doesn't make me a Troll, an idiot or any less a Paulite than anyone who spends their days posting article after article. I am greatly offended by all the "pundits" on the DP drawing conclusions so quickly.
I remember attending a rally in 1988 propped up on my Dad's shoulders so I could see Dr. Paul speak, when he ran for Prez the LAST time. I've been an active libertarian ever since. Just 'cause I only recently joined THIS blog, does that make me any less dedicated?
Cut the snob act. Realize that this is a GRASSROOTS effort (read: no one person is controlling it.) I want RP to win as much as the next guy...and apparently, the intel from the "RP veterans" here was no better or worse than mine, on this issue.
Let's just all focus on working towards getting him into office as each of us sees fit. It's been working out, so far. Let's not all freak out because it's getting close to primaries.
Viva la r3VOLution!
Erin
Yo, Erin
Ask Devils.Advocate about abuse here. Devil's taken his lumps (or hers??) This is a great place, but it IS the internet.
Some of us are (rightly I feel) a little tired of getting jerked around (No, not by you, just pretty often in the last few months), so we're a LEEETLE cautious about flyin off the handle.
So we hear ya, we're pissed too. We learned a lot from the Iowa incident. RP rocked their world. He will now.
This is a golden opportunity to make THEM look as stupid as they are. We just gotta be smarter than them. Let's chill and (heeheehee) strategize.
Erin... I had a good idea you were right...
But I waited until proof was out to hit the panic button....
thanks and just remember *alot* of us are not snobs.... but there definately are a few (and you know who too)
Is this accurate or not?
http://www.usadaily.com/article.cfm?articleID=211230
"The Associated Press reported that a January 6th Fox News presidential forum in New Hampshire, just two days before the first in the nation primary, will exclude Ron Paul. According to AP, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson will all participate in the forum.
The move if reported accurately is extraordinary. Ron Paul, the Republican Congressman from Texas, on December 16th raised more money in one day than any candidate in U.S. political history. Paul has raised more money in the 4rth quarter than any of his opponents and is best positioned financially to win the GOP nomination.
Despite Paul’s success, corporate media conglomerates continue to maintain that he can’t win the Republican nomination although not one vote has been cast.
The forum is being sponsored by the New Hampshire Republican Party. According to LewRockwell.com many outraged Paul supports are emailing Fergus Cullen, who is the state party chairman."
If it is true..
believe me, I will be the first one to ask you to email the GOP, FOX or whoever is responsible for the decision.
I have emailed both the NH GOP, and the top person at the campaign..not just someone in the office answering phones there.
I will let you know if I find out about any exclusions.
Ron Paul is not excluded
Maybe we'll have a number of these posts urging us to send irate emails to NH GOP or FOX news.
Please ignore them.
One thread was started by a 30 min member of DP (gleec), who is now maturing into a 2-hr member. Gleec claims that he received confirmation of this from RP headquarters at 9 PM !
Erin has been on Daily Paul for 1 day.
So I think that perhaps we can wait until tomorrow to get some better info.
Jane Aitken to the best of her reliable knowledge thinks that none of this is true.
it on AP wire?
Maybe he just did not confirm yet or is the AP setting us up?
I could not believe they would have Thompson in NH and not Ron Paul if polls are to be a test.
STOP!
This isn't true. Stand down.
OK BOSS
Now that you have the facts, what are you going to do personally to undo your order to stand down?
NOT TRUE!
Everyone was invited to the brunch in the morning, so why would they exclude him from the debate? I can't imagine them telling me that when I called last week to talk about the brunch and schedule for this debate.
Fact is, this was changed to accommodate the other debate so they could do BOTH. So Ron's campaign had likely not RSVPd yet.
THEY DID NOT EXCLUDE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL THE NH GOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have asked Chris Brunner at Lew Rockwell to REMOVE THAT POST!
Erroneous! Do not email anyone!
please read Jane Aitken:

New Hampshire and Ecuador
bump
bump
Don't be hasty!!
Don't be too hasty folks. There are those who think that RP has just not yet confirmed the date. Email or call the campaign if you are concerned. Besides it would be pretty taboo to exclude the winner of the Illustrious Iowa Caucuses.
Hmmm...
Evolution...I await your apology with baited breath.
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/17756
Uh...
...Evolution, there's a BAJILLION threads on this board. Just because I missed the original thread does not make me a Troll. Maybe instead of flaming me, your time would be better served BUMPING the original post?
Sheesh! Thanks for the benefit of the doubt, punk.
To everyone else, here's the link to the other NH Forum post to which others are referring:
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/17667
Please DO NOT email anyone, as it looks like this issue is already resolved. (The press is just reporting incorrectly.)
Erin
that comments was to the other saying fire away. Swamp using RP's name's and verify to the press that followers are indeed a mindless bunch.
The "second" post on this same thread said it had been taken care of.
I understand the gazillion threads, but do you think with 6 posts on this thread others might at least read them to get the flow?
Points:
1. This thread !
2. Fire away ?
3. Punk : )
Thanks, makes my grey hair feel better. (I'm 62)
Please no need for name calling
Please no need for name calling we have seen enough of that. The most important thing is that this got stopped.
Thanx to all who did :)
STOP
Does anyone bother to read the thread?
Look at the first reply!!!!!
BOGUS, mayber a troll. DO NOT E-Mail AWAY
before doing some research. FALSE INFO
