Doug Wead: How will they get rid of Ron Paul?

by Doug Wead

Congressman Ron Paul, now third in national polls, passing Michelle Bachman, is throwing a wrench into the whole presidential contest. The insider establishment is divided over just how to respond. At stake are the unlimited treasures of the Federal Reserve. This private piggy bank of the American-Elite has been exposed by Dr. Paul’s relentless decade long campaign and its days of operating secretly may be numbered.

It is a stunning turnaround for a political figure who only four years ago was regularly referred to as “loony.” In 2008, 74% of the American people did not know what the Federal Reserve was. A poll last year showed that 74% now agreed with Dr. Paul that this institution should be accountable and it should be audited.

A few months ago a partial audit was indeed conducted and its results were mind boggling. In the national debate on Wednesday, Ron Paul referred to the numbers. The Federal Reserve loaned out over $15 trillion in 2008. And while the government and the public weren’t given all of the details of this audit, we did learn that $3 trillion went to other countries.

Pull a Reagan on them

Take it directly to the people, If this is done I pledge to max out my donation for my whole family

Donate now! Ron Paul wants to

Donate now! Ron Paul wants to run the Rick Perry Ad all weekend - Campaign said it needed $150,000 to do it.

I'm worried about how this Money Bomb is going to work with the Campaign vs Rev PAC. They both have the scheduled for the same days. The big guys should be able to carry Rev PAC - they can throw in $100,000 at a time.

A Good Article, but.....

was the question, "How Will They Get Rid of Ron Paul?" answered? It wasn't. So the title should have been, "Wouldn't They Love to Get Rid of Ron Paul!"

A huge takeaway from that article is this:

"What if Ron Paul pulls a Reagan and goes directly to the people? That is why the next Ron Paul moneybomb will be watched with rapt attention. It will tell more about the future of this campaign than any of the debates."

Gosh, it seems like each quarter or couple of months there is an "event" which will make or break, which will tell us if he is trending to win it or not.

Now the pressure will be on to raise more than the last money bomb. My guess is anything less the $3m would be a disappointment, since the last one raised $1.75m or so.

Meanwhile, Perry ALREADY has $54m in his PAC warchest.

What seems entirely plausible to me is for just 1,000,000 concerned citizens to give $20 a month. Why the heck not?

That would be just $20,000,000 raised a month. Seems easy. And if it's grassroots, should be doable.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

$20.12

I have on numerous occasions posted encouraging supporters to commit $20.12 a month as I have been doing since Dr. Paul announced his candidacy. Unfortunately the response has been zero as most people seem to wait for the money bombs to contribute. As you wrote as I have a $20.12 contribution every month from all or most supporters will give the campaign an opportunity to plan ahead with long range projects knowing the funding will be available when needed. The money bombs are the frosting on the cake. I also think the campaign should put up a counter "XXX,XXX # of contributors and growing." Total # of individual contributors/supporters. This should be on the campaign web site and all affiliate Ron Paul sites. Lets let the world and the opposition/media know we are a force to be reckoned with.

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty

I will be one of the 1 million.

I have been guilty of that as well; mostly giving in money bombs. Except for once just a week ago or so, I donated $110 directly. But we all should set up an auto pay of $20-$100 per month, (whatever you can afford) and I will still participate in the money Bombs. Including the Super PAC, with Tom Woods as the PAC's Chairman. If we can help the Super PAC as well, I know there is bigger money out there who will support Ron Paul, $4,800 is peanuts to the deep pockets and this is how the PAC can have a great effect.

EXCELLENT article, Doug...Thank You!

It's articles like this is the reason why I follow you on Twitter...(thank you too for you following me in turn). :D

Wow...

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

Thank you, Doug Wead is hitting the bulls-eye...

again.

What to do with Ron Paul
We're always tired of listening
to the logic and reasoning
we don't want them to see

What to do with Ron Paul
He knew the lies that were spoken
I guess we will just play along
He's quite popular now

Don't you know that Paul is unelectable
we can tell, (repeat)
Yes we know it well
It never seems to end
Though he has been right all along

What to do with Ron Paul
Our candidates steal his message
Perry seems to steal it the best
with the Fed the next quest

What to do with Ron Paul
We try our hardest to skip him
but his logic and wisdom shines
revealing our dark lies

Don't you know that Paul is unelectable, we can tell
(2x)
When our freedom's won
and his term begun
We know Ron Paul will ride again (ride again)

Thank you Doug Wead!

That was absolutely wonderful!

Electable Ron Paul is my hero.

OMG! I'm gonna run a copy

of this article and frame it!

It's no longer just "Prick Perry Parrots Paul" - now it's
"Pandering Pachyderms Parrot Powerful Paul Prose"!

Doug hits it on the head. This article should be a national mailing and all over the net. He is so right. These people have a LOT to lose.
I sometimes worry for Dr. Paul's safety.

I'll give as much respect to my elected officials as they give to the Constitution!

Delightful alliteration!

Agreed with your post, loved the 'tounge twister'.

Powerful.

Powerful.

Pay special attention to the last few lines

of the article. He talks about the moneybombs. I think it is very important that we do everything we can now to promote the next one, and donate all that we can to show support. They are watching ;o) lets give them our best!
