With the news regarding the NH forum we may have expended a lot of unproductive metal energy.
Time is short, we must stick to the plan, organize, go door to door, canvass and call voters. This will win the election.
We are getting ready for this afternoon. As soon as the Jaguars beat the Texans and we know we are not interrupting people watching the game, we're back to the streets.
If you have not gone door to door in your community, it is a must.
Several people went out with us yesterday that were skeptical about going door to door. At the end of the day, after having conversations with people who had never heard of Ron Paul but were definitely voting in the primary, you realize how important our work is. We picked up votes one after another.
What is very interesting is that most of the people encountered have not even started to make a decision. I try to get everyone of them to RonPaulIntro.com
Once people realize you are not there to "sell" them something they open up. Occasionally you run into a curmudgeon. But, most of those comments were, “I'll never vote for a Republican. They've ruined this country." So, I don't worry about them because they are not helping or hurting at this point.
In fact, I did not have a single negative "Ron Paul" comment all day yesterday.
Meeting those in the area that were definitely voting for Ron Paul was very rewarding. I am meeting all of the like minded people in my community.
Also, I heard numerous times that people saw him on Glen Beck for the first time and were sold on him. Thanks Glen.
Time to put on my walking shoes and head back to the Ron Paul office...

Yard Signs
I think it would be good if someone could organize a recycling program for some of the yard signs in early primary's to be moved to states which have later primary's. The only issue with this is that if Ron Paul gets chosen for the primary these signs would be needed again back in the early primary states.

I love your GRIP site. This is exactly what each area needs. We don't need to each keep inventing the wheel but we need to share what works with others. I was wondering what software/database your group purchased, the cost, and if it can be shared among other groups or if we should get our own.

Wow... Did I already say that? Your new site is fantastic. What a great resource for anyone who is ready to make a door-to-door commitment. You did many things that we didn't do at www.ronpaulreveres.com and I applaud your planning, hard work and effort. Between the two sites, we have wonderful help, resources and information for all to share.
Unfortunately, we still don't have enough people going D2D. No doubt there are different levels of enthusiasm among our ranks, but for those who will, they'll be surprised to find out how easy and rewarding it is.
Talking to our neighbors about our Hero is the most effective thing we can do to get more primary votes. It's simple, easy, fun, great exercise, and effective.
We can do this. And if we want to win, we must do this. Pony-up troops, and let's ride to victory.

great idea but
not to rain on your parade but it is too top down i think. i perused thru the action plan and it even tells me what to wear and what to say. it's a little too perfect for me.
i do praise the amount of time and thought it took to write it all down. i was looking for a major idea to come out but what it tells us to do we are already doing it. maybe not in as organized and as perfect a manner as your action plan. but be assured that we are already doing all those things: lit drops, phone banking, door to door, individual one on one, group speaking.
by your comment that we at dailypaul must be just a talking group coz we haven't responded to your great idea/website it made me a little inadequate with what i'm doing. i might not be as rabid as some people campaigning 24/7 but i have done:
handouts, sign waving, joined the meetup, joined the repub party (held nose), become a delegate, donated $800 to the campaign, talked one on one, and more.
so please don't be offended when no one responds to your site. it's just we don't like being told what to do in such minute detail. it's too, umm let me say... fascist.

We are attempting to challenge people to do all they can to give a last 30 day push for the cause of Liberty.
The goal of the plan is to set semi-autonomous groups within the city. We have now worked with many young people that are very excited and want to contribute but do not know how to go about it. We have a team of high school seniors heading out in the morning for all day canvassing.
We send them to the training video, brief them on the GRIP, give them supplies, plug them in with their team and they are off and running with heir a canvassing team, telephone call team or a letter writing team.
The training videos are to provide a guideline only. As I tell everyone, you will have your own style.
But in order organize responsible teams within the city people need to know who is out there that lives within their area.
However, to imply that getting organized somehow represents fascism. I recommend that you consider the implications of that. Are you suggesting that Washington's volunteer army was fascist because they were organized?
This is a general organization structure. If people do not want to be part of a team that is their prerogative. But as a group we are much more effective. A team of 8 people can ho to a large neighborhood and canvass the entire community in just a few hours. It's amazing. In 30 days you will have to ask yourself, "Did I do all I could have done?"
How to Obtain Registered Voter List
You should be able to obtain the list of registered voters from the Supervisor of Elections for each county.
At times there is a nominal fee. Often they provide these in electronic format to allow sorting by precinct.
In short, call your county Supervisor of Elections.

When they ask you your name at Starbucks say Ron Paul. It's funny to hear some kid who has no idea who RP is shout "VENTI CAFE MOCHA FOR RON PAUL". I could see the wheels turning in some of the customers heads. Where have I heard that name before?

how do we obtain lists of registered voters in each state?

How have you organized your efforts?
It is very interesting that the conversation on this site is about, "we are here to get Ron Paul elected." I am beginning to wonder if that is true.
In response on the question “How many have you converted to Ron Paul" I posted "Thousands." I expected "Holy Crap, how is this being done?" Instead, I get 1 response which was "Good Job."
My observation is that most of the volunteers from the meetup groups are unorganized and do not have a stratgeic plan. The guys at Ron Paul Reveres did a great job at creating their site and there are some other good videos on YouTube regarding canvassing.
So then, I post the GRIP that has and will continue to change a key geographic region and again "no comment".
So, is this group on Daily Paul really about getting organized and making things happen to get Ron Paul elected or is it sophist, philosophical debate? Is the choir sitting around discussing Huck, Bhutto, and the Civil War with one another going to get 1 new vote?
When no-one wants to discuss a plan to win - it should cause all of us great concern.
So again, if you have a plan, we would love to hear it. We would love to hear what has been successful. Candidly, what Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney says or does at this point does not matter. It is crunch time.
Sitting around trying to figure if someone is a troll or not a troll doesn't matter. It all academic at this point.
What matters is what you and I do in terms of calling others, meeting others and promoting Ron Paul and the message of liberty and freedom.
If you have not gotten yourself ready by now you probably are not. Read this plan, offer suggestions on how to improve it and how to implement it.
Nothing happens until YOU make it happen. For most of the country we have 30 days or less. Take your vacation now, spend your weekends for the campaign. I implore you to do all you can for this brief time. If we all take to the streets around the country and call all the registered voters in your county for the next 30 days it will change the nation.
I would love to hear reports from Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and other states about what they did yesterday that worked and what they are going to do today. Post about OUR campaign not Huckabees, Romneys or Giulianis.
Post with successes from the field that will encourage and inspire others. Let us challenge and encourage each other now to take action. Let's give 'em hell and let them know we're coming!

I was referred to this site, www.fittobepres.com, where you can rank any candidate based on culture criteria we, the voters, have unknowingly created. Well, when I went on there to show my support for Ron Paul I found that he's not even on there! We need to get on this and have our support shown on the website ASAP because like wgpitts said, "Nothing happens until YOU make it happen." Spread the word to other Ron Paul fans too!
