Reject The TEA PARTY!

We (Ron Paul supporters) must work to dissasociate ourselves with the Tea Party. Over the last year I've started to realize that the Tea Party is a mix of Christianist War Mongers and Libertarians, but more of the fundamentalist war mongers. We libertarians must avoid this Tea Party group.

The people in the audience cheering that the (fake) 30 year old man dieing was pathetic. The Tea Party is an evil caricature of what Ron Paul believes in. That audience was dangerously stupid and cheering for some of the stupidest stuff imaginable. The Tea Party is a sinking ship. I will do my part - I no longer support or endorse anything Tea Party. RON PAUL 2012 and no one else.

Freedomworks and Glenn Beck hijacked the Tea Party for the Church of Neocon shortly after the 2008 election. I gave up on it way back then...

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

The only purpose of the Tea Party is to act as concrete

shoes for Ron Paul and his supporters.

Controlled opposition.

They bridge the gap between the hot tub republicans and Ron Paul's base to enable the perception of "the big umbrella". They are nothing more than republican brown shirts, and we all know what happened to them.

Who votes this down?

Do you boo after hearing all truth?

I applaud Ron Paul and all of his efforts to keep his message

heard by millions.

I would never boo Ron Paul, would you?

Bachmann = "Tea Party"
Palin = "Tea Party"
Perry = "Tea Party"
etc., etc.

These people are nothing but cement shoes for the Ron Paul camp. Their mission is to overwhelm the voices of liberty, freedom and common sense, like cockroaches.

I have the courage to not hide behind my vote.

The Tea Party really is an OPEN source anti-Obama admin group.

I agree with that - and hence it will and does attract a myriad of philosophies. I suppose that is to be expected.

I support Ron Paul - I do not belong to any group except the human race.

If Ron Paul is meant to be president - I believe his message will trascend all contradictory voices - and he will be president.

I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts. Abraham Lincoln

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

We Are The rEVOLution within the Tea party

I have said stuff like this, as far as us being a revolution and not some simple tea party BUT Ron deserves credit for starting the tea party.

Just like the gop, it was highjacked and currently is being flown in the WRONG direction. We need to be WITHIN the tea party BUT just like how we get within the local gop, we need to realize HOW we can defeat these FAKE tea partiers by EDUCATING THEM.

Bachmann as a tea party leader is nothing more than a START for some of these folks who are getting into the limited government stance. Many won't go FULL BLOWN END THE FED right at the beginning BUT if we educate them, it might MAKE SENSE and not seem so extreme anymore.

Ron Paul has a tea party, it is more like fight club where no one apparently can talk about it in the news... They talk about ANOTHER tea party the LIGHT tea party with bachmann but if anything LIMITED GOVERNMENT talk of any kind in the msm is a GOOD THING.

All it takes is people starting to question their government and then to locate at least ONE main complaint or issue that they can wrap their emotions around and BOOM we have a loyal liberty minded American for life.

Tea Party support

There were the Goldwater factions who were successful in reinventing the Republican party for him to get the nomination in 1964. As now, it was a grassroots effort. The neoteapartian is not the standard, but they're closer on fiscal issues and the Fed. I think it's a good idea to mingle to get more of the message appreciated. Things have come a long way since 2007. Hang in there, swallow the righteous indignation, and the foreign policy will eventually get there. It may be this new movement of Blue Republicans will have a super impact. If this war in Libya keeps escalating, and D.C starts talking about reinstituting the draft, the peace movement will explode! The OTHERS on the stage last night, who never saw a war they didn't like, will be history! (Pardon me, I'm watching the entire 6 seasons of LOST!)

The tea party has been

The tea party has been infiltrated and taken for a ride

Last nights Debate and letting people die..

The tea party folks if they agree with that sentiment are un christian and immoral. The question was asked to Paul (of which he responded well but the audience wanted to let people die if they had no insurance.. it was unbelievable that an American could le ta fellow American who made bad choices die.. sick and disgusting. It made me hate the Tea party and their moral philosophy.

There were like three people

There were like three people in the audience who were cheering for him to die

Reject things becasue they distract from Ron Paul 2012

I'm from Vermont and we have had several Tea Parties, most of the speakers were "Campaign for Liberty" folk and most of the activist attendance were Ron Paul supporters. Any random schmuck of any red neck belief that is a satire of itself can show up with the stupidest sign you ever read. The Tea Party really is an OPEN source anti-Obama admin group. In Vermont There were many "green" tea party members that were not fundamentalist Christians nor hard line libertarians. they were green progressives who are shocked at the establishment for close the the same reasons we are.

But we gave up all the Tea Partying and Campaigning for Liberty because we are BUSY on Ron Paul 2012!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I attended the one in

Well, I attended the one in Cincinnati, and not only did Ron Paul win the straw poll, but I noticed the pro-war supporters lost will after I shouted "Hating all muslims is racism".

Stand up to them like you would a bully on a playground. Right is not on their side, and they lose will when stood up to.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Tea Parties were created to divert attention from Ron Paul

They are not a spontaneous uprising so much as a well-funded institution. They bridle the spirit of freedom by imposing rules on what can and cannot be expressed. The two Tea Parties I attended a few years ago forbade us from bringing our Ron Paul signs.

We are the original modern Tea Party, they have co-opted and perverted our message until it is completely synonymous with Neocon. Now Tea Party is a psy-op, a way for the media to put words' in people's mouths- "Tea Party wants this" "Tea Party wants that." No matter how many Tea Party people love Ron Paul, they will NEVER be represented in the media as backers of Ron Paul.

That's why, as I see it, it is critical to remain distinct from them- because THEY are muted. THEIR Ron Paul appreciation cannot be heard.

But we are the Ron Paul Revolution and everyone knows we are a force to be reckoned with.

A thousand times no

If we want Ron to win, we must market to all potential pools of support and the Tea Party is a big one. It is easy to sit around at home on your computer and write off people, but winning requires engagement with people. Not everyone in the Tea Party will support Ron, but some will.

We have already won the internet; it is time to get into the streets and meet flesh and blood people or we've already maxed out!

duh, the tea party is being

duh, the tea party is being used as a tool against Ron Paul.

We need to stop calling ourselves tea partiers

As someone who was kicked out

As someone who was kicked out of a rally and never joined that tp I would not throw out the baby with the bathwater. They have some SUPER missions, as well as some rotten ones. They are for the constitution, and especially for WATCHING elected politicians. They have become a large group and they are doing their duty as Real Americans. Are they war-mongers? YES. Are they bigoted? YES (especially about religion) . That is why I have constantly tried to tell you guys that Ron did not "start" this Tea Party. They are doing many good things, though, and I will not completely ever put them down.

They claim to want to cut

They claim to want to cut spending but won't support touching our military intervention. I don't think they'd even really support ending welfare. It's just religious neoconservatives, tired of the McCain's.

Unfortunately, they're more numerous than us and that's why Perry and Romney lead in the polls.

Everyone here that is a

Everyone here that is a member of the Tea Party should go on and post this message or something like it and then cancel your membership and/or anything to do with them so they know that we are the majority of their backing and not their little yes men that say anything and everything to get more people to join them just to get more money...! Wow, that sounds like what our political leaders do..!? Lol...

Here's what I posted...

After watching the debate tonight and how the so called Tea Partier’s booed the founding father of this movement, I have come to the conclusion that this organization that this org. is now over run with war mongering Neo-Cons…! I was a member of the original tea party web site and I have removed myself from it and voicing my distaste from what this org. has become…! You need to figure out what you stand for because you have all the status quo politicians saying they are Tea Partier’s when in fact they are not and until you stand up and say we are not backing you because you do not believe in the same beliefs that the Tea Party stands for then you will never see me here or get my donations again!!! If you think you can change the way these status quo politicians think then you are fools…! They are run by money and you have not given them any or more than a Corp. big wig then you have no throw in their thoughts PERIOD…! Why do we have to keep making the same stupid mistakes over and over again…!? You need to get together as one organization and declare that there is only one candidate running for office that holds all of our values and has a perfect record to boot and that is Ron Paul…!

My local TP was disgusting a few years ago.

I quit going. As a Christian it horrified me both the stupidity and bigotry. I would agree that the TP was not only co-opted, but is a complete joke. It's more about one-liners and rhetoric than any real policy. TPers are like most sunday Christians, they go along and get along, but don't read their bibles and think Jesus wants us to kill people, instead of promoting peace. Somehow, war was sold as a good bag of goods to the evangelical right. They are so easy to manipulate that the same thing was done w/ the state of Israel. So you have this idea w/ many Christians - you aren't christian if you don't support Israel warmongering, and you aren't christian if you don't think muslims deserve to die; or that muslims are like animals. That's the message and propaganda.

What a sad state of affairs. I think it's simply a product of television and our ridiculous educational system that is just another part of the play-along propaganda machine. Add to this the tele-evangelists on the payroll.

I'm so sick of this crap. Do you have any idea how many people think Ron Paul is an anti-semite? Even amoung Christian circles, they wrongly accuse Dr. Paul and label him without any research other than what they hear on blabbermouth false-witness talk radio.

Peace, Freedom and Prosperity. Not War, Welfare and Bankruptcy.

Tea Party has been compromised...

I agree, STAY AWAY FROM THE TEA PARTY. It was stolen, by chance or design, and now represents the mainstream neocon movement. The neocons, whether consciously or not, knew that they needed a revival, and the Tea Party suited that interest just fine.

Take the 'Tea' out, put the 'We' back into "We, the people!"

Ok, we all know that special event on Dec. 16, 2007 that was really just another event in the Revolution. We didn't start the Tea Party - the Tea Party is just another example of Ron Paul's ideas and principles being co-opted by opportunists.

The Tea Party is largely composed of "Teo-Cons", Neo-cons who like the sound-bites of taking back our country and following the Constitution. They were absolutely aghast that Obama won (and don't have a clue as to why he won), and they hate Obama-care. Those two core issues fuel the "Tea Party".

I agree. We need to educate people that the revolution started long before the "Tea Party", and that the Tea Party was a knee jerk reaction, much like going to war in Iraq was a knee jerk reaction. Our man, Ron Paul, brought all these topics to the table in 2008 - and know they've co-opted him. And they'll win because the media drives this thing - they control the minds of the American people.

I'm not sure of the answer. I do have Ron Paul cards that I'm willing to give away (15 in your SASE) that you can use to spark the flame in someone's mind. Go to www.RonaldErnestPaul.com for more details. Also, I put up www.TroopsSupport2012.com to make people think about who are military support.

Most Tea Partiers I've met are either the "drop bombs for Jesus" or "America: FUCK YEAH!" types. The Tea Party has transformed into an ugly, ultra right wing monster consisting of religious zealots, bigots, and imbeciles.

EDIT: If I come off as harsh, then I apologize, but my experience with TPers has been universally negative. I'd have a better chance of educating a chimp on Quantum Mechanics than I would educating the average Tea Partier on our foreign policy.

A signature used to be here!

Karl Denninger said he

Karl Denninger said he attended some meetings in Florida and it was largely a Christian thing. Full of prayer and how our positions are messages from God.

I don't agree with Denninger on much anymore, but he was right when said that the Tea Party needs to stay away from the moral issues.

And THAT'S just the tip of the iceberg.

I want to agree but there's one thing...

What do we do about that?

Start a tea party and endorse Ron Paul

We are not the Tea Party. We

We are not the Tea Party. We are the real revolution. The Ron Paul rEVOLution! The real movement which knowledge and determination to reshape the US back to it's founding principles.
