Glenn Beck attacks Ron Paul and then restates Ron Pauls exact position on the Middle East as his own.

I listened to this post on Glenn's website - and after you get through listening to Glenn's sidekick do all his little mockery and clown show - Glenn slams Ron Paul and says he could never vote for him.

And then...... he goes and restates Ron's exact position - almost verbatim. It's crazy - what am I missing here?

http://www.glennbeck.com/2011/09/13/why-was-ron-paul-the-big...

Glenn - he voted to go into Afghanistan. He understands defending this nation.

He needs to be called out on this. I see a lot of benefit to Ron Paul having another interview with to show GB that they are amazingly on the same page.

If you're going to comment on his post - argue the positions - leave the antisemitic stuff out of it.

G. Beck supports Ron Paul's foreign policies.

This is great news,.. after GB is making fun of the Good Dr. Paul, then Beck proceeds to recite Ron Paul's words for the last 30 years as his own words.
I dont even think that he noticed, he just went into a Rant... So, we could probably use his own words to make a video that could be called: Glenn Beck support Ron Paul's foreign policies.

What do you think...???

Thank you Glenn Beck..!!

Beck

--he has gained too many followers ---he is a danger this election ---we must expose him

Paulistas we must b relentless

Personally..

I think he is a has-been with a dwindling flock. His recent stunt in Israel was widely criticized and ridiculed by Israeli citizens and media. Even many in the American evangelical movement are puzzled and confused...

wow....

What a drastic change in the forum, i read almost all the comments with glee earlier today. I went back on to read some of the new ones a few hours later and BAM! its been FLOODED with Pro-Beck, anti-Paul posts. I mean people REALLY stepping it up and writing like 10 paragraph posts complete with ad-hominems and expousing Beck talking points- makes one wonder if he has paid bloggers>?

It was 90/10 in favor of Paul, now its 50/50 or even 60/40 in favor of Beck, in such a short span- weird

Beck bots are wanna-be zombies.

Glenn Beck will be the first

to tell you himself , that he is a showman nothing more.

More specifically...

he says he is a clown...

Well,

We know Glenn likes Rick Perry, so it doesn't surprise me he would come out swinging now. Of course, he attacked Dr. Paul 4 years ago as well.

I think Alex Jones is right on this. Beck is likely a paid schill or operative.

"Argue the positions"

"If you're going to comment on his post - argue the positions - leave the antisemitic stuff out of it."

Well said! All Ron Paul supporters ought to know by now that attacking does no good at all. It only gives them ammunition to further attack us. Argue the positions through respectable conversation.

"Well, you know it's like I always say 'it ain't government work if you don't have to do it twice.'" - Jerry Gergich

Glenn Beck- "YOU stand for nothing. YOU'RE just the same."

So Glenn Beck criticizes Ron Paul's foreign policy position and says how wrong it is, and then spends the last few minutes espousing exactly Ron Paul's position....

It's almost like at 3:05 when Glenn discusses the hypocrisy of supporting Mubarek. Glenn Beck says he supports a reduced foreign policy and non-intervention/no nation-building/no policing of the world, and then he attacks Ron Paul, the one candidate who shares those views. I'm sorry Glenn, but where do you stand? "You stand for nothing. You're just the same."

Here's what you are missing: Beck is just another inside job

He will talk the conservative talk, but push neocon candidates...ESPECIALLY MORMON CANDIDATES.

As soon as Beck converted to Mormonism, he went from a drunken failing zoo radio talk show personality to a national political show host.

Further, he knows that most Ron Paul'ers HATE all neocon propagandists...so why should they bother sucking up to Ron Paul'ers.

Heck, they even know that when they bash Paul, they get higher ratings than when they agree with Paul. The only way to get even higher ratings is to have Paul on their show...something they ALL desperately desire.

Please know that their ratings are sliding. We only need to replace right-wing talk with other shows.

Glenn Beck is the Troll God.

Glenn Beck is the Troll God. All Trolls spring from his forehead. The absolute worst thing you can do is pay attention to a troll. When you do, they multiply.

Just finished listening

that dude is schizophrenic.

Wasn't one of Beck's little buddies

a Perry staff member?

I heard this too on the way

I heard this too on the way too work yesterday too. I couldn't understand how you could repeat exactly what Paul has been saying and still think he has no idea.

Glenn

Is a sociopath who has been stealing Rush's pills and snorting them in his green room while looking at nude photos of Bill O'Reilly. Sorry I know it's off color but I just can't take these guys seriously.

First laugh of the day!!

Thanks! (Great visuals!)

And what you say is true - Glen Beck is mentally ill, no doubt. And all the men you mentioned are raging narcissists. I will not listen to any of them. For years I witnessed Glen Beck "teach" what he learned from Ron Paul under the pretense that he dreamed up the ideas himself.

My Pleasure

;-)"For years I witnessed Glen Beck "teach" what he learned from Ron Paul under the pretense that he dreamed up the ideas himself."

This seems to be a common tactic these days. Seeing that all of the GOP contenders are doing this save the foreign policy stance.

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

Ron Paul doesn't act like a macho bully

That's why Glenn doesn't like him. Beck thinks Presidential Elections should be run like grade school popularity contests.

Hmmm...

Glenn Beck? Who is that? Wait! Isn't that the guy that used to have a tv show? I remember him now... :)

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

Yep, He Bagged Ron Paul then Parroted him

I also love the army of one he's got to tell him he's so great..... even when he gets it wrong then has to adjust his head to pash Beck just the right way.

I always know when someone's so insecure they need a little toady with a brown tongue by their side.

Vote Ron Paul and Believe Again

You're right, it doesn't make

You're right, it doesn't make any sense. In fact when I posted a comment over there, that's exactly what I said:

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Beck says bring the troops home, Paul says bring the troops home. Beck says let other countries fight their own wars, Paul says let other countries fight their own wars. In terms of policy there seems to be agreement, but suddenly when Paul brings up the motive for 9/11 attacks, Paul becomes someone Beck would "NEVER" vote for? Beck argued the same as Paul when he appeared on O'Reilly's show: they don't hate us for our freedoms, they hate us for our foreign policies:
http://www.therightscoop.com/beck-debates-oreilly-on-egypt/
But Al Qaeda wants global jihad you say? Well what in the hell is Beck proposing be done about that? Keep the troops over there? No, he already said bring them back. And sorry Beck, but Paul is not a "complete isolationist" - he supported the authorization to use military force in Afghanistan from the beginning. Additionally, In 2001, Paul introduced H.R. 3076, the September 11 Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001. The bill
http://www.nolanchart.com/article8613_Bin_Laden_is_Dead_but_his_Ghost_still_Haunts_America.html
"Authorizes
and requests the President to issue letters of marque and reprisal to
commission privately armed and equipped persons and entities to seize
outside of the United States the person and property of Osama bin Laden,
of any al Qaeda co-conspirator and any conspirator with Osama bin Laden
and al Qaeda who are responsible for the terrorist attacks against the
United States on September 11, 2001... [It authorizes] the capture, dead
or alive, of Osama bin Laden or any other al Qaeda conspirator
responsible for the act of air piracy upon the United States on
September 11, 2001."

So if anyone attempts "global jihad" by taking on the one nation that could stop it, do you really think Paul would roll over and die or would he retaliate? If you think a President Paul would give in to the terrorists, you're either kidding yourself or you're a damn fool.So tell me Beck: what are the ACTIONS you think the other candidates would take that you think Ron Paul wouldn't take?
