Pentagon Study Proposes Sacrificing Military Pension Compensation (but not foreign empire spending)

Fund Veterans Obligations or Foreign Empire? The Pentagon chooses squashing out veterans.

New Pentagon study proposes sacrificing military pension obligations as cost savings, but no mention of any paring back on foreign interventions, occupations, bases, bombings, nation building, or foreign welfare. In the question of priorities between veterans or foreign intervention this proposal makes clear that policy makers see our veterns as expendable pawns whose benefits are to be sacrificed to the insatiable altar of overseas imperial interventionism. It is a morbid case of devouring its own personnel to fuel foreign military and diplomatic imperialism.

Considering how meager the pensions of veterans are, this is an outrage.

I think it is very telling, that when a Tea Party Congressmen (I can not recall the name) came out with a budget that cut 9 trillion over ten years, including an 8% cut to the DOD which came almost exclusively from veterans' benefits, the plan was applauded, and not chastised for hurting veterans.
