Norml, Vote Hemp, Mpp, LEAP

I emailed some of the the kind folks at Norml.org, mpp.org, Votehemp.com, and leap.cc(LEAP) to mention Ron Paul, and briefly, how he would help their causes.

If more DPrs can contact them, it could lead to more endorsements, or at least give Ron Paul's Marijuana, and Hemp legislation record more attention at their websites/Facebooks. That could end up reaching hundreds of thousands more potential RP voters...

I think since many of them are non-profit they cannot specifically endorse a candidate but you're right a profile of some sort on Ron Paul comparing his pro-freedom record to the other candidates would be a great idea. I almost wonder, though, if these organizations want to specifically avoid endorsing Ron Paul for fear that it will pigeon-hole him as the "legalization" candidate (which is what the media tried to do, and some could say successfully, in 2008.)

Ironically, the first time I ever heard about Ron Paul was in a campaign ad in High Times magazine. Go figure.

While I don't agree with all of these groups overall efforts I do agree getting them to wake up to ron paul and overall constitutional and freedomm loving living MIGHT help direct these orgs in the best direction for THE PEOPLE.

Lets make this world a bit more NORML!
