People I've converted to support Ron PaulSubmitted by frionelhero on Sun, 09/18/2011 - 10:43
now while these people may not get on the daily paul and donate or anything like that, here is a list of people whom I have convinced to support and vote for:
My mom, who is a liberal Democrat, and still believes in domestic spending, will likely be voting for him at least in the Texas primary as she is also very anti-war
My dad, who is a libertarian conservative, hasn't heard much of Ron Paul but will vote for him
My grandma, who is a Green and voted for Nader the last four times
My roommate, who was always a apathetic person but whose philosophy seemed very libertarian, has become a Ron Paul fan.
His girlfriend, who is conservative, and isn't particularly anti-war, likes how he holds his principles close
At least three of my co-workers. All three are Independents, but two of them are libertarian leaning conservatives, one of whom never heard of Ron Paul before me. The third voted for Obama and is a liberal, but we talk politics and philosophy a lot, and every day he seems to be coming to our side more and more, but regardless he will vote for Ron Paul.
My wife, who doesn't really care about politics at all, but will vote for him to make me happy. lol
A few of my friends on facebook, many of whom never cared about politics. But some live close, and others live in Virginia.
Most of these votes are coming out of California unfortunately, but I feel very good about how many people I have convinced to support Ron Paul. These conversions obviously aren't showing up in polls because many are Democrats, independents, or former non-voters. The point is, with our enthusiasm we have the power to convince others to support him. Just like our money bombs, we have a lot of influence, and we are changing the course of history. I have convinced 10 people to vote for Ron Paul. That is 10 more people than 2008, where I was a lone voter.
