CPAC-Florida : We Need Liberty Activists to Attend this weekend Sept. 23

If you support the Cause of Liberty, then please consider attending CPAC-FL this Friday,(9/23) in Orlando, FL.

It looks like they have stacked the agenda with Neo-Cons and do not have a fair representation of Constitutional Conservatives and our issues. We need to demonstrate the strength of our movement to other Florida Republicans.

Florida Governor: Fl Straw Poll Winner Will Take the White House

Florida Governor Rick Scott (R) is making a big prediction ahead of next week's Presidency 5 Straw Poll.

"I personally believe whoever wins that straw poll, they will be the next president of the United States," said Scott on Fox News Saturday.

But Florida's straw poll hasn't always picked the White House winner, or the GOP nominee for that matter. In 2008, Mitt Romney won the Sunshine State's poll, but lost out to Senator John McCain in the GOP primary.

Come on Florida!

Get out there for Ron Paul. This is a pretty comprehensive gathering, but when I see the likes of Ann Coulter speaking there, I'm sure there will be plenty of Ron Paul bashers working their craft. If there is a straw poll, maybe they'll split up the status quo vote, but I'd be on the lookout for an organized effort to beat Ron Paul. If they do, and someone else wins the straw poll, lookout, it'll be front page news everywhere. One things for sure, Ron Paul people vote Ron Paul, and don't even consider anyone else. Amen.

I'm so angry right now I'm shaking all over.

I suppose Perry cronies will help him win Florida. yea with all of those crooks counting the ballots.

Ron Paul 2012...and beyond

I am in Central Florida with

I am in Central Florida with my wife and daughters vacationing at Disney World. I was able to buy tickets to attend the straw poll (and the Fox/Google debate) as a guest, but obviously cannot vote in the poll since I am not registered to vote in Florida. I also have a ticket for CPAC FL on Friday, though the line up does not thrill me.

Question: Will there be any organized campaign effort to get signs, etc. into the hands of Ron Paul supporters? Though I cannot vote in the straw poll, I would like to be able to at least be visible in supporting the good Doctor.

Are there any official campaign events be held in conjunction with CPAC and the Straw Poll?

A nice little panel with Bill Krystol about Defense vs. Isolationism. If any of you felt like heckling him, he certainly deserves it!

The "Isolationism" Panel Discussion

Yes - but I was thinking more in terms of having some folks well versed in foreign policy (military would be excellent) to ask questions of the panel and react appropriately. :)

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world.

Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has...

Looks lopsided

I listened to Chris Wallace Sunday with Juan Williams and a couple other neocons and They pretty much put the cap on Juan Williams every time he spoke they all stared at him like Keep your mouth shut about Ron Paul. I see out of a 12 hour event he will get his 15 minutes of fame.

Rick Perry front-runner heading into Florida straw poll

Florida's most experienced political professionals are closely divided on whether Rick Perry or Mitt Romney will win Florida's Republican presidential primary, but overwhelmingly they see Romney as the stronger candidate to beat President Barack Obama in Florida.

More than 100 of Florida's sharpest political minds — including campaign consultants, lobbyists, politicians — participated in the latest St. Petersburg Times Florida Insider Poll, and the results were striking: Two-thirds of Democrats and two-thirds of Republicans pegged Romney as the stronger general election candidate, though Democrats were considerably more confident than Republicans that Perry would win Florida's crucial presidential primary early next year.

Half of the Republicans predicted Romney would win the primary, and 41 percent predicted Perry. Among Democrats, 56 percent expect Perry to win the primary, and 37 percent said Romney.
