Thanks to everyone here at DP we made the top 4 and were selected by Incubus to open for them in Atlanta. Here's the video of our song "SaveYour". Note the applause from the crowd when I mention Ron Paul!

Bump for Rich

Because I got an advance copy of the new CD, and it is great.

Great job and great sound!

and in the famous words of my brother in law...after a very late night hanging out in boys town, Laredo, Mexico. Actually his last words, after the twenty tacos at the all night taco stand, and before passing out that night.. "Incubus is a very cool band". I have it on video, and use it for blackmail. :O)

I appreciate the plug but I

I appreciate the plug but I would have been more impressed if you would have said I want all of you to go and vote for Ron Paul in the primary election this year.

I bet most of those people didn't even know who ron paul was.

Based on the response, I'd

Based on the response, I'd say that a lot of people knew who he was.

You did great...

it wouldn't matter what you said, there is no pleasing neverquit. One of those people that always had an uncle or aunt that did everything better than you or anyone you know. Don't worry about impressing anyone, just keep doing your thing. We all appreciate it and the movement needs it.

Love your sound!

could you please post the lyrics, for us older folks who can't hear so well? Must have cranked it up too loud in the 60's lol.

Ron Paul is my President.

I went and posted the lyrics

I went and posted the lyrics in the video discription for you omaleta! So just go to the video and you'll have to click the "show more" tab under the descriptions.

Got it! Thank you.

Ron Paul is my President.

I'm old enough to have been

I'm old enough to have been to a few concerts in the 70's. The thought of a band dedicating a song to a sitting congressman is mind boggling! But I like it!

Well done!

Well "congressman" is one of the last ways to describe Dr. Paul

Dr. Paul is the, "Thomas Jefferson of our day" - Judge Andrew Napolitano

He's the re-founding father of America.

one word!

AWESEOME!!

Another Idea for you guys...

Set Up a Voter Registration section of your booth when opening and plug "If you support Ron Paul come to Our booth and register to vote"!

Sweet!

That was cool.

Hey rich. Glad we could help.

Hey rich. Glad we could help. Just wondering, did you guys get to talk to incubus backstage at all? And If so what were their thoughts on Ron Paul? I know they werent big fans of Bush that's for sure...

I wish I could say that I we

I wish I could say that I we did but fact is we didn't meet the band. I met a member here or there. A couple folks from our crew met Brandon Boyd and he told them to give us all a hand shake from him and tell us thanks and good job etc. Also guitar player was checking us out during our set and told our drummers wife he dug it. Other that that not really man.

Sweet

all was clear (except maybe one chick belly-dancing with her hands up high) until you said "Ron Paul!"...then you got the "solid-fists" (and no maloik to be found), hollers and the whistles. Look :)

Well done! Please

Well done! Please congratulate the rest of your band from all of us here at the DP.

Great Job

Glad to see more bands supporting ron paul. I think local shows would do well getting local ron paul groups setup. I would love to setup a booth at local events and shows with ron paul meetup group, daily paul and ronpaulorbust.com information to give out!

Thanks a bunch for the

Thanks a bunch for the complement. Look for us on the Revolution Tour in the South East early next year!

I hear laughing after the dedication.

This song's about waking up one day, and realizing that everything you ever did was pretty much wrong - I'd like to dedicate this song to Ron Paul

Maybe some were laughing because they thought you meant that everything Ron Paul ever did was wrong.

You know I thought of that in

You know I thought of that in hindsight. and it is "everything you ever "knew" was wrong' I think. A lot was going on at the moment. There are many things about the night I'd like to have re-done. But heat was on!

Glad my vote helped...

get you guys on stage. When you guys get another gig, you might contact that area's Meetup group to set up a table for Ron and offer to meet attendees there after the show for your T-shirts and RP info.
Since you sound a bit like the Blue Man Group, maybe you can load up one of their paper shooter "guns" and blast out "Google Ron Paul" cards with the lyrics on the back. Or, maybe just throw from the stage as far as you can.
Just an idea.

Thanks for the plug! Huge!

Sorry about that.

In addition, the song is called SaveYour. I wrote the song in 2008-2009 after I realized that basically everything was a sham. I realized that after waking up to Ron Paul and his message in the 2007-8 campaign. I could have worded it better and I knew what I was going to say and it was a little longer but we were running behind and well... there were 6000-8000 people out there so. It didn't come out as well as I hoped. The message of the song is that of freeing your mind. That is why it is dedicated to Ron Paul.
