Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne announces support for Ron Paul
Submitted by Pac-man on Mon, 09/19/2011 - 14:55(NaturalNews) In a recent interview on FOX Business, Overstock.com (which was recently rebranded as O.co) founder and CEO Patrick Byrne had a lot to say about the flailing economy, and the fake "recovery" that so many in the business community and in the public naively bought into. And when asked about who he supports in the 2012 presidential election, Byrne vocalized his support for Rep. Ron Paul.

Patrick, in your league $2.5k is nothing,
$20.000 is a token gift, and $200,000 is putting some money into something you believe in.
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
2.5k is the legal maximum
I can't believe you said that. I accidentally sent more than that last campaign, and the campaign had to cut me a check and mail it back to me.
You come off sounding like you think we're entitled to expect the "rich" to part with their money. Sheesh.

There's no legal maximum for the superPAC.
If I won Powerball I'd be able to contribute millions. Not only could I, I would. Bill Gates could drop in a billion if so inclined. If you have the money and you believe in something, it's not worth your effort to give an amount that is inconsequential for you.
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
This is awesome, but
Did he financially support RP... max out at $2,500, then go donate to Super PAC? That's someone that needs to be contacted for sure!
WHY? WHY?
It's none our business what he did. Why would anyone need to contact him except to say "thank you" which I'm sure the campaign already did.
I can't believe people on here who keep thinking that the "rich" are somehow supposed to win this battle for us by writing a check or being famous.
Go out and get some donations from people you know and stop expecting some famous rich person to do it.
Buy some stuff from him--don't demand it.
