So when was the last time you saw a stretched Huckleberry? LOL! I know you will not think it is relevant, but it is very important to find the limits of the "Stretching"

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

Huckleberry Finn & Tom Sawyer came into money... Gold it was.

For a time they had slathers of it. Huck was not comfortable being rich so he up & gave his half of the found loot to the local judge. Signed papers all official like.

Well, as time played out, he never had a hankering for money. Consequently he never consented to have his portrait embossed on "legal tender" ... "elastic currency."

Federal Reserve Act, 1913 (Preamble of monetary destruction)

"An Act To provide for the establishment of Federal reserve banks, to furnish an elastic currency, to afford means of rediscounting commercial paper, to establish a more effective supervision of banking in the United States, and for other purposes."

Complete & utter monetary destruction. Elastic!

Legally, a stretch. All official like.

S Hannity: I agree Libertarian stuff you say 95%

Might have been a fleeting moment, but crossing Hannity's lips were words to that affect.

Diabolical vested interests are perhaps not factored in Hannity's forthright statistic.

Most folk with a modicum of sanity agree w/ much of what Ron Paul says & admire his sincerity. A much higher number agrees w/ when they have familiarity w/ the history of what Ron Paul says.

Exactly what I referred to. Thank you for the link.

01:15 S Hannity: "Wen you get into those libertarian principles, I agree with 95% of what you say."

Tony Bennett and Michael

Tony Bennett and Michael Moore agree with Ron Paul on 9/11...blow back

Agreeing with Ron Paul is different from endorsing him.

The only endorsements I've come across are:

Gerald Celente
Jim Rogers
Vince Vaughn
Bill Maher (he told AC Vanderbilt he'd vote for RP out of all republicans)

That is why the title is Agreed.

A good clip of them agreeing can sound nearly as good as an endorsement though. What is cool is that we can can edit and create the media any way we like.

Correct...but wouldn't you

Correct...but wouldn't you think the endorsed list is more important? Especially since those are the people to solicit donations toward Revolution SuperPAC.

Not sure, a good video can influence millions.

And also get those that spoke good of him to take another look.

hmmm, fair enough : ) But

hmmm, fair enough :)

But you'll need to drastically increase that list because tons of people agree with Ron Paul...unfortunately they also say they won't vote for him. ie Hannity!

Nevertheless, if you get all the agreeing statements in video clips, it could indeed be an impressive compilation. I hope it works out : )

Arlo Guthrie, of course!

Remember his quote on the sleeve of, "The Revolution: a Manifesto"?

"Rarely has a single book not only challenged, but decisively changed my mind. "
--Arlo Guthrie

In honor of the new ad, "He Served", I thought it would be appropriate to include a link to a classic Arlo performance of a song he wrote called, "When a Soldier Makes it Home", including one his ever poignant intros.

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. - Frederick Douglass

Added video clip of him

I hadn't found that clip before

Thanks for the link to that recent interview. I thought you were referring to the one that I posted above. That's why I posted the link to the lyrics of, "When A Soldier Makes It Home".

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. - Frederick Douglass

Thank Delvin

Delvin posted it in an earlier comment.

I found Guthrie's lyrics here

I knew somewhere on the web, someone had to have posted this.

Try playing the video with the lyrics in front of you; and then try keep a dry eye, I dare you!

Here are the closing lines of the song, for example:

The night is coming quickly
And the stars are on their way
As I stare into the evening
Looking for the words to say
That I saw the lonely soldier
Just a boy that's far from home
And I saw that I was just like him
While upon this earth I roam

And there may not be any big parades
If I ever make it back
As I come home under cover
Through a world that can't keep track
Of the heroes who have fallen
Let alone the ones who won't
Which is why nobody seems to care
When a soldier makes it home

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. - Frederick Douglass

That is not on the cover my book.

I didn't realize there were multiple versions?

Actually, it's on the back cover of End The Fed

I don't have my copy of TRaM handy, but I was pretty sure it was on that cover sleeve also.

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. - Frederick Douglass

Which reminds me, I need to buy End the Fed

Then I'll check it out.

Gary Null's Ron Paul comments now accessible

Sept 20's show:

27:00: he starts discussing party misconceptions, gold mining, job creation, tax reform.

43:30: generous statements about Nader and Ron Paul.

51:00: Good caller discussion about Ron Paul, bailout, danger of Federal Reserve, etc. (lol: war and corruption bills to taxpayers)

Sept 21's show:

0:00: Starts out talking about talk radio in general and how real conservatives don't fit in today's neocon party. How people are looking for trustworthy leaders with a real character-based record and body of work: Chris Hedges, Ralph Nader, Michael Hudson, Michael Learners, Linus Pauling, Garth Nickelson, Ron Paul (and of course Gary Null).

BTW: Michael Hudson advised Iceland to not pay the debt to the international bankers...to keep their sovereignty...to get out of the EuroZone. And he's advising Greece to do the same.

21:00: Talks about what happens when you color outside the two party lines...includes Ron Paul. Gary has a bone to pick with Paul's position about the government helping nuclear plants.

Sept 22's show

18:00 Fascinating talk about China. How they had to save. Now they want the US's awesome lifestyle. So they are investing/consuming like crazy (often in anti-human rights way)...including US Treasuries. How China knows the US won't pay back the US Treasuries, thus they use leverage to get their own currency. (discussion of China picks up at 52:00)

30:30 Riveting discussion about those who talk about abiding by the Constitution (us). That is, the Constitution helped grow the federal government and actually limited states rights. Then a discussion on the origin of nullification and secession. However, Gary does recognize why people want to take away power from the federal government and he supports limiting government.

Gary Null talking up Ron Paul again

check his archives

last half of sept 20
first half of sept 21

Null has a big bi-partisan audience. He really gets the problems of the nation. Thus, though he disagrees with some of Ron Paul's ideas, Gary knows that Paul is one of the VERY few people not sold out...and that if elected, would do a tremendous amount of good.

I've never heard of him.

How big is 'big'?

He used to be bigger, being number one on internet radio

He even set a record in internet radio, beating Sirius listenship

He's primarily a self-made health guru (though not traditionally educated): nutrition, supplements, environment, hospitialization, etc. This naturally lends to a lot of political discussion.

Just look at his web site http://www.garynull.com.

On the site, he:

smacks gardasil

calls our government a two-party dictatorship

calls out monsanto

gives wikileaks a nod

pushes his latest movie, "Knocking on the Devil's Door"...an anti nuclear movie

pushes his movie, "US Government to Gulf War Vets: Drop Dead!" about war-related health problems

bashes rumsfield

covers the wall street occupation

and much more

Gee, I sound like a commercial. Anyway, I just love what this person has done with his life. He has been on the cutting edge of health, politics, and several other fields for decades.

Didn't Pat Buchanan say

Didn't Pat Buchanan say something good about Ron Paul last time around?

Most of the regional coordinators on the RtRt are asking around too - and most of the coordinators are in the entertainment business:)

That gave me a good idea.

For some of them it would be best to use an iconic photo of what they are most famous for, and then quote them with a subtitle or insert the audio over the top.

Because some of the videos are not that great themselves.
