We declare that the GOP Front Runner is Ron Paul.
Please refer to him as GOP Front Runner Ron Paul all over the web and anywhere else you can. The evidence supports this.

*Ron Paul had 2 first place finishes and 3 second place finishes. If he'd had 3 first place and 2 second place, his average finish would have been 1st.
Yet Ron Paul is still ignored by the media. Baffles me.

I think he said this in a post debate interview as perry was easing into the race... he brushed him off as a gadfly saying that candidates come and go and wind as mere flashes in the pan... how does ron always have such spot on foresight, i mean the guy is always frikin right... by now anytime ron says that something is probably gunna happen you better bank on it... unfortuantly hes been recently talking hyperinflation and riots in the streets (via the awesome LSU speech).

I already see the "fade" by the media and the big push to focus everybody on Perry vs. Romney. Hopefully people will burn out of it quick and get back to facts about RP.
Another point to emphasize
We hear many people bring up Ron Paul is unelectable. I think we should flip the switch. When we post comments on sites we should mention that Ron Paul is the electable candidate running because he wants to bring the troops home, is tough on the FED, understands sound currency, and has predicted many of the things that happened like the housing bust, endless wars, and the dollar devaluing. No other candidate even comes close on this issues. Ron Paul is the electable candidate running.

Straw polls are merely an indicator about certain things, like you can't rule someone out if he or she does well in a straw poll, but historically they're not good predictors and what they mean is very limited.
Straw polls are not used to determine the "front runner". Anyone half serious about U.S. politics knows this, unless he's a moron.
If you go around claiming someone is the "front runner" because of straw poll results, especially straw polls that are not even contested by the actual front runners, people are going to think you're a moron, and rightfully so.
Sorry, but I'm sick and tired of hearing people tell me they can't support Ron Paul because of how moronic his supporters are.
I know you're excited. I'm excited. But please, be calm, smart and reasonable.

Funny thing, before this election "straw polls"
were considered a huge indicator...as was CPAC and the other republican/conservative conventions with straw polls. Once Dr. Paul started winning them ... they were relegated to "not really indicative of anything". Such hypocrisy.

I tried to say the same thing and I got voted down too! We're never going to win by being delusional! Ron Paul won every straw poll and internet poll in 2008 and it didn't mean a hill of beans. Does no one remember that!? We should be happy that he's in THIRD place, instead of pretending he's in first.
I do believe that
Straw polls are used ALL DAY LONG to create/determine the frontrunner IF that person is the Establishment's pick.
Michelle Bachman barely won the Iowa straw poll and the very next day she was on 5 major news networks (all MSM of course).
And let's face it, IF Ron Paul was given 10 - 25% of the coverage of Perry that Ron Paul would indeed be the front runner.
Ron is running against the MSM. All Perry has to do is sell his soul to the devil, which he has done, and after that, he just really needs to have a pulse. He literally could not do any campaigning and by virtue of the MSM talking about him incessantly, he'd be and IS the frontrunner. Why? Because THEY said so. "You Sheeple do what you're told to do." And they do.
In summary, straw polls are used all day to establish the frontrunner. It's only when the wrong person wins that they "don't mean anything."

Well, Mini..what do YOU base it on then? Perry was called a frontrunner the DAY he announced, when he was not even IN the Iowa straw poll..RP has met MANY benchmarks. He is electable and a frontrunner.

Everyone tried to pretend that the scientific polls were wrong in 2008. Supposedly, all the young people loved Ron Paul, but they had cell phones, so they weren't included in these polls. Well, guess what? The polls were right! The polls right now say Ron Paul is in the low double digits, in a solid 3rd place. We should be happy about that progress, but there's still a lot of hard work to do. If we pretend that we've already won, that's a sure way to lose.

We Need Ron Paul Delegates and Get Rid Of Them Diebolds
If we don't get enough delegates signed up, we are simply toast. You hope you all understand that patriots.. Copy?
Also, some of you young, energetic and intelligent people out there that have more time than myself, (work obligations are killing me) can look into how we can get rid of them screwed up diebold voting machines. These machine are a huge problem for us. The powers that be use these machines to elect the annointed ones and to defraud pro american candidates all around the country.
We have so little time to accomplish these efforts and I know that its all i can do to accomplish my endevors. Like doctor Paul, i'm so busy, having to work all kinds of screwy hours. Most of the time i make comments that reflect my mental state and energy levels. Today i got word from my doctor that my HDL is a little too high and i need to exercise a bit more. Are you kidding I thought to myself, my country is dying and i feel so helpless, feeling mentally drained most of the time. I may have to stop commenting so much and get some badly needed sleep. I'm no good to myself or anyone else. Many times I read what I post and its sounds like a rambling mad man.
Please respond feel free to respond to my requests. We need delegates to get on board and to see what we need to do to get them diebolds removed. We are in very serious trouble, with the media trashing our man, Dr. Paul. One minute they trash him and another they ignore.
Have to go back to work now. Work hard, and no long faces..

Cart before the horse
Stop thinking 2008, where we were desperate to gather a delegate here or there.
We need the delegates, but we need the support of the voters first. The delegates are sheep. Whoever is winning the primaries and caucuses will get the delegates. Don't waste time on that. We need to focus on getting from 8-12% to break the 20% line. That's where all our focus needs to be.
Once we break 20%, that should be good enough to get more people to look at Ron Paul seriously, and win.

CPAC only shows the
organization and enthusiasm of support of a candidate not how the nation feels about a candidate. RP supporters are organized and enthusiastic and willing to travel from all across America to show their support at CPAC. However, when it comes to your average citizen RP support lags (comparative to other establishment candidates). This should only invigorate us to double our efforts and spread the message!
Was it a competition? Did the candidates compete in it?
Was it a sought after victory? Why undervalue and downplay victories by Ron Paul? Why are WE so organized and so enthusiastic? The reason is Ron Paul, so by minimizing our victories, you are minimizing Ron Paul also, IMO. I'm not going to do it.
