Sarah Palin: Ron Paul may be in front of Michele Bachmann

...of the current Republican lineup, Palin told Hanity, "I think people are still going to be coming and going because there is still time, and I’m still one of those still considering." When Hannity asked her thoughts on the current "top three" -- Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, and Michele Bachmann, Palin flinched ever so slightly. "Ron Paul may be in front of Michele Bachmann, according to certain polls. Shoot, I’ve seen my own name up there in the top three."

Palin for Paul's Press Secretary!

In exchange for endorsing him now, promise her the press secretary position.

I actually think she would do a decent job at that.

Yes, But at This Point

We can only win straw polls, donate funds, turn out for events, register voters, and not much else. We're not just winning straw polls, we're doing these other things and much more too.

Yes Perry and Romney are doing so well

That Perry had to cancel the Texas Straw Poll or receive an ass kicking by Ron Paul, and Romney came in what was it fourth or fifth in the California Straw Poll with a whopping 8% ?
I think Bachmann came in 6th with 5% of the total...These mass media asshats think that their audience members are complete morons. My hope is that people listen just for the "propaganda recognition value" this provides and not for educational purposes.

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

Enough with the straw polls

Winning a straw poll requires a dedicated but not necessarily large following; that's all. It has very little to do with indicating how well a candidate is doing in terms of being able to get enough people to vote for him or her in a real election.

Personally to me, a straw poll win only indicates you have a strong grassroots following. I don't see anyway that it is an indicator of what to expect in the GOP primary election. I'm keeping my eye on Gallup and Rassmussen polls. They might be skewed because they don't poll the younger group as much, but I feel confident that if we get our national poll numbers up we'll be doing just fine.

I'm am VERY happy about pulling 13% in the latest Gallup. I think that is huge progress.

Palin's comment...

may have been merely a snide jab at Bachmann...

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

True, but it's also still the

True, but it's also still the smartest thing I've ever heard her say.

Being On the Right Side of History: Psalm 46:10

What Hannity did pretending

What Hannity did pretending Ron Paul is behind Bachmann is just a preview of what Fox News is going to do tonight.

They will try as best as they can to marginalize Dr. Paul and make him look unelectable.

I think from now on the media treatment of Dr. Paul is going to be even worse than in 2008 where he was nowhere near the 13% he is at now.

13% is a very important number - a candidate is either going to go up or down from here.

FOX and others are panicking so they will make sure Dr. Paul does not move up and at least stagnant at 13% ...

Remember, they want Dr. Paul to be the 13th floor in a hotel.

Then after getting called on his version of the top 3

he switched to talking about the top two. I think he was afraid Palin would say something nice about Ron Paul specifically.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

He did exactly as Hitler

He did exactly as Hitler instructed :

It's going to get really really bad

Because he sure isn't going away!

I'm getting ready for all the attacks I'm going to get for supporting him. Particularly from the "anybody but Obama" AKA "any unprincipled Neocon in a storm but God forbid not Ron Paul" crowd.

I'm not holding my breath

but it would be very interesting if Palin endorsed Paul. That would be a direction I would like to see her get all mavericky about.

A lot of her neocon supporters would just. freak. out.

Alright, that would be too sweet, it won't happen lol

Palin may be a dope when it

Palin may be a dope when it comes to actual political philosophy and substance. I personally believe she doesn't have a very strong opinion either way.

However, she is very savvy at playing "politics," and sees Ron Paul's popularity.

She sees Paul's chances as legitimate and does not want to alienate herself from a potential Paul Whitehouse. She is in good graces with Paul because of her endorsement of Rand. She would like to have inroads into the whitehouse, whoever she feels has a chance. I assume she's staying out of the race so she can be a favorite vice presidential pick.

Sean Hannity is the ultimate POS and he is one of the reasons...

...That if they don't nominate Ron Paul, I will do everything (short of actually voting for Obama) in my power to hurt the republican party in 2012.

Third party for me.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

What if your most likely chance to hurt the GOP is to vote for

America Elects candidate Michael Bloomberg? (rumors abound - they are working on ballot access as we speak)

Would you cast a vote for someone worse than Romney or Perry simply to "stick it to them?"

Be careful how you phrase things.

Besides, otherwise, the GOP cares not which little league player you put on your fantasy team. They are rightfully confident that they will successfully marginalize any option past two, with "Obama is evil." It works every time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but...

didn't Palin endorse Rand Paul?

She did

This means a cat fight is brewing.

Just kidding :)

But I do wonder if Palin sees Bachmann as her main competition.

Palin is not...

... presidential, or VP material. However, I wonder how I will respond when Perry implodes (just a matter of time) and Palin endorses Ron Paul. Possible?

Plano TX

I think it's possible

that Palin might endorse Dr. Paul. I remember when people thought Jim Bunning would never endorse Rand Paul for senate because of their different beliefs on foreign policy. Rand defended him for his stand in the Senate on domestic fiscal issues they agreed upon and I think Bunning appreciated it.

Does Palin still have a show on fox? If so, then she probably couldn't(or wouldn't) endorse Dr. Paul.

Was Bush, Jr....

presidential, or VP material?

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

"George? George? We always thought Jeb, but not George."

- rumored to be the words of Barbara Bush when she found out her son was running for President.

Dana Carvey said that too in his 2008 HBO special... :p

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

Yeah, but they're not the ones running our country, are they?

Yeah, but they're not the ones running our country, are they? Obama, Palin, Perry, George W., et al. are brainless stooges upon which are cast the satanic shadows of Petraeus, Cheney, Dewhurst, Immelt, Soros, et al. who actually implement policy. And their policy is to bleed the country dry. The only way to stop them is to have a popular movement against their ferocious vampirism, and to have a candidate who is the peoples' champion.

And... that would be the little doctor from Texas.

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

Her Reputation is Tarnished

Her reputation is tarnished ever since that book came out.

Just imagine Palin and Bachmann Debating in those "voices"

I find their voices annoying. Maybe it is because I don't care for either of the tea party fakes BUT for some reason I just can't wrap my head around THOSE TWO.

Did we really become that sad that we have people like obama, pArry, bachmann and palins trying to run our country?

Bloody scary as hell.

There are some accents that are "sexy", but it seems that Minnesota and Alaska accents don't fall into that category.
More like repulsive.

Who is it that finds these two attractive, anyway?

U said it T. Can u imagine if she were elected?

I would go stark, raving mad if I had to hear that voice day in and day out. Like fingernails on a chalk board. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Imagine - those two screeching on the right, and...

Hillary screeching on the left.

What is it with women in politics who screech?

Why can't any of them speak normally? Or why can't women who speak normally run for office so we don't have to be assaulted by this screeching?
