WHY Ron Paul is going to WIN.... (our secret weapon)

The polls being taken DO NOT factor in what I call the DR. PAUL FACTOR... i.e. we will do anything and everything we can to get to the Polls when other candidates supporters may talk the talk as we all know (and the press doesnt get) we also walk the walk...
Wont it be SUPER if Paul wins NH and comes in like second or so in IOWA.... I can see/hear the political talk show hosts spinning wheels everywhere...
OH AND BY THE WAY - SECOND BIGGEST weapon (which is no secret) is Ron Paul's honesty and integrity and his super method of talking and getting his point across (which others say he doesnt possess) makes me think he is part Irish and given the gift-of--the-magic-tongue...

snow and ice could not stop 20 or so Mainer's from meeting up
last night for a caucus organization meeting for one of Maine's 8 meetup groups.
Maine's meetup people really have their act together. There is good coordination from the top down (with no real help from the national campaign - yet). They had great info, numbers and strategies.
I think Maine (an early state - #6) will have great results.
I can't imagine that Huckabee has the kind of organization that Ron Paul's people do. I just wonder how many caucus regulars there really are that don't need organization. One observation of our meeting last night was that we pretty much all had never participated in a caucus before. We will surprise people at the very least.

Is Iowa an open primary? Can anyone vote in the Iowa primary?
BUT
It is my understanding they can CHANGE at the primary. So that is as good as open, really. But, please, check that out. Not absolutely positive.

....but basically is. you show up a half hour early and fill out (better to bring) a voter registration form and register as a republican then you can vote.

I think heavy snow would be great for Paul. Though I hope we win simply cause we have the best man, not because everyone else is lazy.
No Snow in Forecast
According to the long range forecast it will be cold by many non-Iowans standards (about 15~20 degrees) on Thursday night, but no snow. As a former Iowan who grew up there, I don't believe that the temperature will be that big of a deal for most. It may affect some older folks, but this is a pretty common temperature for the first of January in Iowa.
