Ron Paul needs to be more assertive and go back to main issues after answering minor questions quicklySubmitted by J-White on Fri, 09/23/2011 - 00:27
Ron Paul is doing quite good, but I would like him to make better use of the little time he is getting. He should answer the minor questions in a sentence or two and link it to other major issues and go back to talking on them - wars, spending, debt, FED, etc.
He should also question the moderators why he was not asked a particular question on any major issue, when he is ignored. And he should take the time to answer that question.
It seems they have the rule that if a candidate's name is mentioned by some other candidate then they get rebuttal time. I wonder if he can still give some rebuttals just on policies of others that he does not agree with. May not be possible (according to rules!) but worth a try.
Since Ron is polling third, I suspect there could be a change in debate policy and they may start excluding him (along with all the others) and really make it a two man race. They are already trying their best to focus on Romney and Perry anyway.
MSM will do what it has been doing, but people should concentrate on real grassroots effort and educate people about Paul and thus increase the voters. Thats the thing that will make the difference.
