I wish Barrack Obama was a socialist

If Barrack Obama was a socialist, at least half of the people in this country would be taken care of. Liberal is a term that the pundits use to divide us into liberal and conservative. Liberal in some areas is not necessarily a bad thing, and we need to break from this term liberal which slams us into one of two categories. Please people, when you promote Ron Paul and call someone a liberal it is the two party system making you the enemy of that so called liberal. Bush is not considered a liberal, so when you say vote Ron Paul, the liberals are destroying this country, you just put George Bush on Ron Paul's team, which is not the team we are on. We need to call these fascists, simply what they are, fascists. If we call Obama a socialist, we just reinforced half of America on a system and toward voting for a person who is as far from a socialist as one can be. Vocabulary is very important, and if you use the word liberal, you are creating enemies for Ron Paul, use the word fascist, not socialist. I wish Obama was more a socialist than a fascist, because socialists run out of money, fascists have every corporation that owns the world backing them. Fascist people, fascist, not liberal, not socialist. If you don't think this is important, than I don't know what to say. When we say liberal, we create a divide, we create opposition, we create enemies.

If you look at actual fascist

If you look at actual fascist regimes (Mussolini's Italy, Nazi Germany, Franco's Spain), the only difference between fascist and socialist dictatorships is that in fascist regimes, the government doesn't officially own the major industries, while they do in socialist regimes. In either case, however, the government has ultimate control and of what use is ownership without control?

NAZI is

National Socialist German Workers' Party

or Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei

Thank you tog

This is a very important post. The terms have been created to divide us. Divide and rule.

We have a fascist dictatorship in the world where Governments and big business run everything together or rather where both governments and big business are controlled/owned by the same elite.

The agenda is a world dictatorship where all people are enslaved. We pretty much have that already most people just can't see it because they are still indoctrinated to believe the propaganda that goes incredibly deep.

On the left they sell the world dictatorship to us and call it socialism and on the right they sell it to us and call it conservatism. But it has nothing to do with socialism or conservatism in a real sense. Both of these have some good ideals. What we have is fascism or in reality dictatorship, but most people don't know the dictators and therefore can't see it.

Just going through old posts

and saw your thanks Lars, don't thank me though friend, let us all thank Ron Paul for planting the seed, we just have to make sure we nurture it. Keep up the great work Lars!!!

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

Roman Empire was revived in 962AD.

It has never died since. we have been through three Reichs and we are about to get the fourth. Satan has been loosed, for a little season. The LAW's last gasp for prominance.

I have been thinking

the hard left is Marxist and the hard right Fascist but I guess they are both Fascists. It is like a circle that meets at the ends. IMO

Yes the terms are just there

Yes the terms are just there to confuse us and to keep us divided. Basically there is freedom and liberty on one side and dictatorship on the other side. Really quite simple.

Globalist

Corpratists, Global Corporate Fascists, or just plain 'ole Globalists is what I call 'em. I prefer to use the term Globalist in this context because I think it more accurately describes their belief system in 3 syllables or less, and it does not exclude the Communist component like the term Corporatists or Global Corporate Fascists may appear to.

The term Globalist is very inclusive. It includes the international big labor solidarity movement socialists and commies, and it also includes global corporate fascists, military industrial complex corporatists, and foreign policy neocons. I think 0bama is a Globalist.

I totally agree

Other terms are the elite, the banksters, the establishment (seems to be Ron Paul's favorite term).

If you go a bit deeper you can call them new world order, illuminati, satanists, luciferian etc.

I like globalist for new comers but it may sound as something positive. Some of the other names show more of their true negative colors.

Maybe Global dictatorship?

The problem with socialism is idealism....

Animal Farm creatively pointed that out. The idealistic assumption of equal rights, equal property decays into the oligarchical rule of a few. Practically, power tends to reveal the true nature of leaders, and this was particularly true of Stalin. So it ends up, as Orwell put it, All are equal, but some are more equal than others. (The former Soviet Union was intended to be the socialist paradise -- and Orwell described it perfectly)

me too

a true socialist would be much better than a corporate imperial presidency. a democratic socialist like bernie sanders or "anarcho or libertarian socialist [whichever you prefer]"...like noam chomsky (i don't care what you guys say about him he pretty much only writes about foreign policy and he's right.) would be the best out of the socialist factions. of course compared to most of the people here i most likely have a much more "socialist" ideal as a self described "kucinich democrat". oh and to whoever keeps saying kucinich and paul only agree on 3 issues out of 100 you're wrong. otherwise i wouldn't be here.

I remember when Kucinich was on Cleveland City Council 1969

I remember when Kucinich was elected mayor of Cleveland in 1979. The boy Mayor they called him. He has a good record on many issues. He is honest and trustworthy, imo.

just

to make things clear, i wouldn't prefer a socialist system of government to the one the founders outlined, minus legitimized slavery, so don't get too mad. :)

socialism in any form would

socialism in any form would be a hell of a lot better than what we have now.

See my post below.

I don't see how.

imperialism is not socialism.

imperialism is not socialism. imperialism is what we are currently taking part in as taxpayers. socialism is more like what cuba, venezuela or scandinavia are experiencing. of course, there are many different uses of the term(including free market socialism).

In the video Yuri Maltsev calls all government socialist.

I would add that the depravity of the socialism that government is can be measured by which of the 10 Commandments the are willing to disobey. In the Soviet Union disrespect of parents by children tattling on them, lying, stealing, killing,...

Castro killed a million, the Soviet Empire killed 40 to 60 million.

I see your point, but I think Maltsev makes a strong case.

Free includes debt-free!

This is fascinating about socialism from a Soviet sufferer.

Thanks CA

it is a lot to read, I got about half way through and learned a lot of what I did not know, and will continue reading tomorrow. Seems like the Nazi salute may have originated in a place we are all too familiar with. Thanks for the read, I will continue reading when my mind is in a state to absorb more info, it is late here in OH. Keep up the great work!!!
