Help Me Fly For Dr. Paul!

We all support Dr. Paul and some skydivers are making the Leap For Liberty.

It would be awesome if I could be there, but I won't be. So, how am I planning on getting Dr. Paul's message out there? Through the Icarus SKYART Competition on facebook. The winner of this competition gets a canopy in their design, and I would love to fly for Dr. Paul. I would also like to get a group of us Skydiving Ron Paul supporters with canopies to jump into his events during the next year, but that is something I don't know how to make happen; parachutes aren't cheap.

So, if you would be so kind, help this R3VOLUTIONARY fly for Paul by heading on over to My Facebook Entry and give it a quick "Like"

Here's a couple comments so far:

Travis Tung: Oh hell yes.
Rhys Kempen: Fuck Yeah!!!!
Dereck Griffin: Dope!!
Rob Burwell: That's fantastic! I would proudly fly that!
Rhys Kempen: that canopy could change the world for the better...

I know we all band together for Polls, events and anything else that will help our man, so let's band together on this one. Help me to win this thing so the people on the ground will see it. No other Candidate will have anything similar, not even the incumbent.

Let's blow it up!

Normally I wouldn't bump my

Normally I wouldn't bump my own post, but since I posted it in the evening last night, I am hoping maybe some more people will see it today and be interested in helping the cause.

Thanks.

bump for the Patriotism..:)

bad idea

This is already risky for his campaign but at least the jumpers and RP's campaign have a chance of controlling the risk of tampering. Think about it, what would be the best case scenario for the establishment? Risk management is key please don't give the media the tragedy they need for another shock doctrine.

"I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove."

I don't have a clue what you

I don't have a clue what you mean...

the CIA is on record

for doing much worse than tampering with a jumper's chute. Operational Risk Management needs to be considered with Ron Paul's campaign and especially our own activism.

"I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove."

I'm not worried about it. :)

I'm not worried about it. :) Risk versus reward. I will take the risk for the reward :)

I'm not anyone famous or anything, so while there might be a media story there, my fiancee would set them straight.

i respect that

however, the risk is not just you it's the entire revolution. Could you imagine how the press would cover the story of a skydiver jumping to prove Ron Paul's point and then dying??

The establishment is evil you have to remember this. I know you pack your own chutes as a skydiver but it is still easy to tamper without your noticing. Especially since they will be making the chute for you.

PLEASE be careful and DO NOT DIE! video tape the packing of your chute and have a camera on you the entire time!

Call me paranoid if you want but the risk is higher than some might think.

The press would twist it all

The press would twist it all up, but just remember, there is always a reserve as well :) My rig, doesn't leave my sight other than for a reserve repack, and it only goes to 1 guy who I trust with my life. A personal friend no less that I trusted with my son's life for his 16th birthday tandem skydive :)

Assuming the worst case scenario however, and I were to go in. I can state that anyone at the DZ would tell the media that I was jumping the canopy in support of Dr. Paul and that I died doing something I loved. They would talk about how much we go over safety and how sometimes things just go wrong.

Honestly, it could happen on any jump, but I am prepared for that as well through training and experience, albeit less experience than I would like.

I do appreciate your concern, don't get me wrong, but picture seeing that in the air, and the effect it would have. If, through some twist of fate, I had to die for it, then so be it. I would be proud to.
