Shock! Shock! CBS not only mentions Ron Paul, they wrote a favorable article about him.

Rebecca Kaplan

ORLANDO -- Ron Paul's fiery libertarian rhetoric drew warm reaction at Orlando's Conservative Political Action Conference Friday as he offered a scathing critique of the federal government and promised to "restore the greatness of America."

Despite his dire warnings about America's troubles, the Texas congressman portrayed himself as optimistic. "We have a lot of major problems in this country, but you know what? There's a revolution going on in this country," he said.

Paul's remarks began with a diatribe about 1913, the year the income tax and the Federal Reserve were born. Paul argued that understanding financial history is essential to understanding the nation's power structure.

This is what I posted:

Love you, Ron Paul!!!!!!!!!!!
This election is it. If anyone but Ron is nominated to run against Obamao, it will be another four years of our Constitution being trampled & our country going into ruin. There are millions of republicans, democrats, independents, conservatives, green party'rs, & more out here, wanting a REAL candidate. If we don't get Ron Paul, we're just not going to vote & Obamo will win again. RNC, are you listening? While I very much appreciate this article, the mainstream media just keeps feeding us Dumb & Dumber. They want either of these two clowns to go up against Obamao & they won't have a chance of winning. Only Ron Paul can KO Obamao.

Sorry, but made me mad. The

Sorry, but made me mad. The article about Ron though good, is probably only on CBS.com and the VIDEO, which had every single other person except Ron in is highlights, was CBS NEWS.

me too...I kept thinking he was going to be at the end

after Romney and then the video ended and no Ron Paul. that's BS.

I don't like it when Ron says

I don't like it when Ron says things like (not a direct quote) 'we have rejected personal liberty'.

I haven't rejected personal liberty, and I doubt most people would think they were individually responsible for rejecting personal liberty either.

It would be better to say, "all of us believe in personal liberty and freedom as Americans, and these policies are un-American because they reject our most cherished principles. This cannot and will not continue. I need your help and your vote to bring sanity and responsibility back to Washington and back to America."

We have rejected personal liberty..

There are 330,000,000 people in this nation. Why aren't 50 MILLION of these people marching on Washington to get the government straight and to demand a new one? WE the people are fully and 100% responsible for the mess that we are in. We can sit around bitching about the government and the NWO, and all that business, but when it comes down to it...it is up to us whether by education, by holding feet to the fire, or by force. It is, and it will always be up to the people.

By not ensuring our liberties through whatever means necessary, we as a governed people have rejected them.

No, Dale

That is a collectivist argument. There are only individuals, even as our individual action and inaction may have enormous consequences.

Yes, he is saying "we" as

our government, our nation, our policies. Not saying "you" rejected it as an individual.

"we" as a nation

Ron Paul is saying "We" as a nation, and that is true.

We, as a nation, have lost our liberty with the Patriot Acts and other bad legislation. Ron Paul voted "NO".

I don't agree with DaleinOklahoma (I usally agree with him)

I agree with you on the individuals, but I also realize that we/as a nation are under the control of corporations' contracts with the government, and the contracts we have with the UN and it's agenda for sustainable development.

We/ as a nation, are not fighting one Goliath, but many.

And finally, we are a collective, for without us, Ron Paul would not be where he is.

Now come on...

Did you really think they would include an excerpt of Ron's speech with all of the others...Lol, yeah I gave them the benefit of the doubt and watched it too. Almost got sick listening to that homey crap from Perry for no reason. For someone with such a meager beginning he sure did turn into a real ****head! Usually two types of people emerge from hardship, one person works hard and does what he can to help others out of that situation, and the other will lie, steal and cheat to never be there again. I think we know who Perry is.

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

Let me know what you think

Let me know what you all think of this Idea

ecorob's picture

a tough pill to swallow...

America is not "great" anymore"?

How did this happen? Don't we have the best political representation that money can buy?

tough answer to accept...we let it happen, you and I

so, let's don't do that again

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...

9/11 Truth.

Did you watch the video on

Did you watch the video on the page? They didn't include Ron Paul. Bah Humbug.

If you walk blindly through life, you will run into a lot of walls.

One good thing that came ouf of this article

"restore the greatness of America."

That should be Ron Paul's mantra. Use the problems to frame his program to do that. That is what we should be writing on every blog in the nethersphere. Ron Paul is the only candidate with a plan to "restore the greatness of America."

Hope resides with the people, not the government.

Little notice: Where is Ron

Little notice:

Where is Ron Paul in the Highlights... Nice they write an article that is not completely biased. Stop reading these prints, they are not worth it. You don't need those companies to tell you that Ron Paul is good and the real deal!

Dutch Ron Paul blog: http://www.paulitiek.nl | Paul Campaign Google Maps: share the victories with your Friends! http://g.co/maps/rcw2y

I'm not sure you understand..

See...we are the Choir in the ole saying.."preaching to the Choir". No one here needs any company to tell us that Ron Paul is good and the real deal. It is just surprising and very nice when the MSM does actually write something good.

The Choir will be voting for Ron Paul...but we need A LOT of support to swing our way from the regular Americans who have always depended on the talking heads from MSM to tell them how to vote. They are not in the Choir yet...we want them in the Choir.

You should be excited when MSM writes things positive...it reaches the very people we need. We can't just all sit around in a circle and tell each other how great Ron Paul is...that doesn't do any good.

right, hence my sig line

right, hence my sig line

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

Gotta Love

how they don't show Ron in the highlight video.

Los Angeles, California

I would say we should ignore

them and stop linking to them. They mentioned ron paul because they know that we are the only supporters who care. So, they can attract us and make money off of us with their ads on videos showing the phony candidates talking about how great they are. Do you notice that ron paul rarely talks about himself?

On Balance Its Good

More than Ron Paul Supporters will see this - if all news stories were positive that would be good, right? Also, it may be a Ron Paul "author" who got to write it - I think on balance its good to link.
