Oh...that's an easy one you silly thing!

The FAUX FIX was in...along with a little help from a bunch of transplanted New York senior citizens of the jewish persuasion and a boat load of the "bombs for Jesus" crowd.

Can't wait to start voting for real...then we will find out what we are going to find out.

FU Frank! 2012

What did we learn?

The poll was rigged, nothing new there.

The media spins it as a great victory just proves that Cain is their puppet (if there was ever any doubt since he is a Federal Reserve agent).

Ron Paul is not welcome by the GOP insiders and not very popular with old people who only know what they are being told by Fix News and have been manipulated to believe all their lives.

All in all nothing new. Ron Paul decided not to be there because he new this already.

The interesting thing is that Perry is now dead. The propaganda media have realized he can't win and have had to find another puppet to sell to the masses.

Cain is a good speaker. Just like Obama we know how dangerous that can be. If the propaganda media now decides to back him we have work to do. But that is nothing new, we already knew that revolution is not easy. They still have Christie and Palin and whoever else and we know they will stop at nothing to prevent Ron Paul from becoming president. Even if Ron Paul did win the nomination, they would just have Palin run third party to hand Obama a second term.

This is a revolution people. A revolution of ideas. Whatever they throw at us, Ron Paul is still gaining momentum. All we need to do is keep this up and they can then run their farce media circus as they want while we educate the people and gain more and more momentum.

We are winning!

The 2007 FL Straw Poll win for Romney was a shock

until we found out he had bought and given away several hundred tickets. Ron Paul people were all over but not enough at $25 each. There was a fellow with a Catamaran yacht lit up with RP signs. The fellow with the plane and the rolling light display was there and it was great. The June purchase of $175 tickets this year had to be a way to limit entry for Ron Paul people. The very 1st Rep. Exec. Committee in Jan '09 they were handing out "A Night in the Birmingham Jail", and several tracts on platform points intended to be more inclusive of minorities in the GOP. This outcome is not surprising. The RPOF is about maintaining control through whatever means necessary.

Neocon talk radio-

has been pushing this straw poll hard. I listened to Hannity the last couple of days (dont ask me why) And he said at least 3 times that "this was THE straw poll to determine the frontrunner. He said it in other ways too. Same with the others, bottom line- they really cemented this poll as being THE pivitol, groundbreaking poll. I remember thinking "wow they are taking a risk since RP has done so well in them recently" they really seemed confident. I guess they dont have to worry about damage control now

It isn't likely that all the

It isn't likely that all the people who paid to attend didn't really vote

They held the straw poll at a different time than they were suppose to, and there is a huge discrepancy between delegates attending and votes taken.

http://www.dailypaul.com/180186/florida-straw-poll-none-of-t...

Nowhere near 3,500 of the people who were suppose to vote did. That is 24% of the delegates.

It isn't that they weren't there. There were alternates, and there were 3,500 people there. More than 800 voters were not counted.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Lot of people decided $175 could

be better used by the campaign itself than the GOP :)

The FED's guy will get a big push

I said this when Cain 1st announced. What better way to gain ultimate power than to put a FED man in the Presidency. Even better he is a black guy so all these folks that are tired of being called racist can vote for him to prove they aren't. Remember Smedley Butler being approached to stage a coup against Roosevelt? Well looks like it could be the same, except one the people will submit to and even vote to have it happen.

Well, at least one precedent

Well, at least one precedent has been broken. Unless Cain DOES somehow miraculously gain ground to become the nominee, then they can no longer say the Florida straw poll is a perfect barometer of the GOP nomination.

This in turn helps argue why Paul's poll wins have been more significant and how he can also surmount other "precedents" (read: unlikely scenarios), such as being the oldest candidate to be nominated, the first House member to win the election (since Garfield, I think?), etc. etc....

The real problem here isn't

that Herman won FL straw poll. It is that all the media is making a big deal out of it and yet Ron Paul gets no attention when he wins any poll.

Having said that, screw the media and the polls, the way to get Dr. Paul the nomination is through delegates. Get out there and get involved in your local GOP. Work to become a delegate today!

Beware of Cain

Ron Paul just said in the Thursday night debate that he was probably in third place, so what happens? Cain wins and is now perceived nationally to be in third place behind Romney and Perry.

The media is pushing Cain to take the third RINO place with the only objective to displace Ron Paul in the race. Make no mistake about this win, it is calculated against Ron Paul.

RON PAUL 2012

I still don't like the way he

I still don't like the way he answered that question. Why? Because it was only inevitable that he would be made to pay dearly for it somehow.

Before, when he was asked, he joked that he didn't know their position on the Federal Reserve and gently deferred the question.

This time around, the rest of the candidates used the very same trick and it was Paul who took the opportunity to remind everyone who hadn't heard him speak a whole lot that night where his numbers were.

I think he could have gotten the same point across without being so direct.

He could have just said "our moment is coming. Our support is now surging. I'll think about who should be my running mate when I get a few primaries under my belt."

I think that would have drawn a lot less ridicule.

Never forget:

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

This is more of a blow to

Romney & Perry as it is for Ron Paul.

What did you expect when he made the comment if Obamacare was
in existence he would not be a live today.

Sympathy more than a rational vote

"Freedom is a right that can never be won in war, only by each individual "

what happened in michigan?

wasnt there also a straw poll in michigan today?

This just PROVES cain is just as big an ass as the rest of the

establishment and their so called gop.

He can be bought, he IS a talking head for exactly what we are against. Just because he is pretending to be some small business owner, we all know what this guy actually stands for.

He is NOT going to win, we all know that as well.

Ass is always when we deal with

a Federal Reserve President he will be exposed
this was a bigger loss to Romney & Perry

Orator Skills Unmatched

I was in Orlando for this 3 day Republican Party of Florida Love Fest.

I wish Ron Paul could speak half as well as Herman Cain.

When Cain addresses a crowd he is in a league by himself.

He sounds like a Republican Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

His rhetoric about liberty, small government, the constitution etc. is powerful and polished.

People forget or don't care he was a Federal Reserve Chief and is all for bailouts, government intervention and keeping our troops all over the world.

He knows how to tell a crowd exactly what they want to hear.

May our efforts in support of Congressman Ron Paul be blessed with supernatural success.

Umm... quick history class...

MLK ... WAS a Rebublican. Just saying...

violent revolution inevitable."

Another history lesson

MLK was a card carrying communist.

Snopes says you're full of

Snopes says you're full of crap. He spoke at a Republican convention once, sure, and various regional PACs (like Raging Elephants) have tried to claim he was for political gain, but it couldn't be farther from the truth.

You know, I remember reading

You know, I remember reading that somewhere, but recently I could not find ANY info that says he was. And unfortunately MLK was still someone who believed in affirmative action, which is contrary to individual rights.

Old people. Old people is

Old people. Old people is what happened. Their mind is owned by Fox. They don't know how to work their "machines" and the internets.

Debbie's picture

Herman Cain talks like a Southern preacher and the people there

went wild for him, but I don't think that necessarily means all Republicans in Florida will, despite what Gov. Rick Scott says.

Debbie

Straw polls that require $175

Straw polls that require $175 to vote in,can easily be bought.
Means nothing.

Looks like we have some

work to do in Florida!

BMWJIM's picture

Forget Cain!!! Look closely at

the other numbers. They are so close with Perry, Rommny and Paul. These are the true numbers. Everything else is just BS.

Think about it folks!

Ho Hum...

If this straw poll has any relevance, which is dubious, the real news coming from it will not be RP placing 5th or even Cain placing first.

The news is that Perry and Romney did not finish first and Bachman finished dead last in 8th place.

Life, Liberty... and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Are you kidding me ?

All I hear is the T party bitch about is higher taxes and they vote for a guy who wants a 9% tax increase on everything we buy. Talk about stiffling an economy this guy wants to raise taxes higher then the Democrats ever thought about.
