CAN WE UPDATE THIS COUNT

Can anybody update this? They removed the cumulative count on wikipedia.

Updated!

Just updated the cumulative total:

Check it out here: http://RonPaulRonPaul.com/winning.php

Cumulative polling rank

We published the exact same thing over a week ago, just minus the MI and FL polls at that point.

http://www.whiteoutpress.com/articles/q42011/ron-paul-the-ne...

Except in our poll, we used the candidates' placement (1st to 5th) instead of vote percentages. It seemed more accurate considering some straw polls banned a number of candidates causing the others' percentages to be higher than they should have or would have been.

Ron Paul still won (whoo-hoo), but Rick Perry finished second, Romney third, Cain forth and Bachmann fifth. The mainstream media will never report it though. And they're only pumping up Perry to keep the heat off of their chosen boy Mitt Romney. If you want more examples of just how unethical the media is regarding Congressman Paul's campaign, check out our other article, 'Mainstream Media not so Mainstream'.

I don't know who's idea this was but,

it's pure genius.

Ron Paul Wins

In case someone is keeping track:

RON PAUL WINS COUNTY FAIR STRAW POLL
Sep 18, 2011
For the 6 days of the Santa Cruz County Fair the County Republican Party conducted a Bean (Straw) Poll. Everyone was allowed to vote. 778 votes were cast. Here are the results:

Ron Paul 215 (27.6%)

All Others 104 (13.3%)

the demand to change the world is not there either. —U.G.Krishnamurti

What if media treated Ron Paul like top contender he is?

Can you imagine how well he would be doing? If the media started treating Ron Paul like the top contender that he is, he would skyrocket far above all the other mere puppets.

The sole way that dictatorships stay in power is through propaganda and force.

Don't hate me

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but Perry wasn't in all the straw polls so this is a little inaccurate. Regardless, the media protrays Ron as a fringe candidate and now they just ignore him because they don't know what else to do.

So, correct the stats so they show average performance?

If correct, you do bring up a good point, so lets make it even better.

Media vs. People

The disconnect is what the media wants versus the people.

The media attempts to program people that Perry should win. The people, that actually vote at straw polls, want Ron Paul.

Media is the main weapon of the handful of collectivists in power.

please feel free to plug this in any relevant discussion. I have used that information at least 4 times since yesterday, it makes a great generic answer :).

This is excellent information

This is excellent information and we need to get it out to the public.

Thank you for being a journalist!

Since we don't have any in the media.

There are very few, if any, left in mainstream media that would actually research the cumulative results of straw polls, or anything else.

#5 in your list needs to be entered on a new line.

Thank you, fixed :)

Thank you, fixed :)

Excellent information.

Numbers don't lie, people lie.

Yawn

Numbers lie all the time. I'd love to see the same thing calculated giving equal weight to each vote instead of each poll. I'm sure Dr. Paul would still come in first, but unless we prove that he does, then detractors will still have an easy out.

Freedom Wins!

what I hate is when this is

what I hate is when this is posted your stupid comment comes up on the facebook page. It is what it is...Ron Paul's wins put him in first place. Best to get this info out and help with last 3 straw polls instead of being so negative.

How does this go on facebook?

How does this go on facebook? You are right, though, negative comments about this are out of line. Once you join facebook everything you post comes up?
Anyway, I like those numbers..:)
