The Federal Reserve Plans To Identify “Key Bloggers”

The Federal Reserve wants to know what you are saying about it. In fact, the Federal Reserve has announced plans to identify "key bloggers" and to monitor "billions of conversations" about the Fed on Facebook, Twitter, forums and blogs. This is yet another sign that the alternative media is having a dramatic impact. As first reported on Zero Hedge, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has issued a "Request for Proposal" to suppliers who may be interested in participating in the development of a "Sentiment Analysis And Social Media Monitoring Solution". In other words, the Federal Reserve wants to develop a highly sophisticated system that will gather everything that you and I say about the Federal Reserve on the Internet and that will analyze what our feelings about the Fed are. Obviously, any "positive" feelings about the Fed would not be a problem. What they really want to do is to gather information on everyone that views the Federal Reserve negatively. It is unclear how they plan to use this information once they have it, but considering how many alternative media sources have been shut down lately, this is obviously a very troubling sign.

I can't stand the Fed, go Ron Paul but this article is not properly sourced. A link to some official looking paper that could have been written by anybody is shoddy reporting at the least. We do not have to resort to making stories up because we are in the right. It is our side that stands against this sort of media scam. Source it or remove it. There are plenty of other threads that we can go bash the fed on. I don't want to see the daily Paul humiliated down the road.

See that's the sound I make when I spew milk out of my nose after reading someone's VERY FIRST POST on the DP..and calling for the removal of a post about the federal reserve.

Do you smell what I'm stepping in?

That may have been my first post on the DP but I have been an activist for Ron Paul for years. Just because an argument or accusation is made against the Fed, it is not instantly valid by just being anti Fed. For one that is stupid and for two that is how straw-man arguments are put together. My post was about protecting this movement, our movement from an impugned credibility. Rather you agree with me on the specifics or not you should appreciate my perspective. To blindly imply that I have some ulterior motive is no different then the Rush Limbaugh tactic of hanging on callers who disagree with him and summarily labeling them "Seminaries." I'm not ridiculing other supporters. I am serious about this movement, I just don't type fast and am not that savvy with the computer. I wrote this response today because I just discovered this feature today.

You really don't get it do you...

your VERY FIRST POST on the DP was calling for the removal of a post by someone else. If you had been around the DP for very long, you would have figured out that most everything that gets posted will be looked into and either confirmed or denied. I have been on the DP for over 4 years, as have many others, and yet WE ARE NOT calling for removals of posts constantly. It is always the new guys who come in and want total control of content in order to suit their views.

To quote someone I just met, yet you know very well.. "Rather you agree with me on the specifics or not you should appreciate my perspective."

Now apply that saying to everyone else, instead of just yourself. Have a great day.

I was a delegate twice. I have been in this since the beginning. The only thing I am new at is posting on this one forum. I do not constantly call for post removals, just one, this one. Of course you dramatically state that I always do this, which is simply not true. No wonder this post appeals to you. It is not properly sourced and is shoddy reporting. If you are going to blindly endorse anything that is posted in this forum then you are no better then the drones who assume that FOX's and MSNBC's material "gets looked into" I do not take anything for granted, because it is foolish to do so. This one particular time Daily Paul has posted something that can not stand up to scrutiny. The greater majority of posts are great. In fact I come to this site almost every day because time and time again this is the best place to view the most current material. The fact that I have someone that actually believes this post calling me a new comer just because I disagree with him and lecturing me about the site is laughable. Maybe this site for you is a place to blindly accept whatever is posted and have your political philosophy put into a little box you can carry around with you like the hoards of unthinking robots that follow Bill O'reilly, that's fine. That's your business. This website is something different for me. I applaud those who created and maintain the DP and allow me to freely use it. I will not treat every post as if it were doctrine. Maybe now you get it. If not that's OK because I am beginning to find this amusing.

I agree Dale.

I agree Dale.

Don't fight the Fed!

Just start bartering with silver and it will disappear.

Don't sell your silver for FRNs! Buy low and accumulate. If you want to buy something, offer a silver dime to get them hooked on Nature's Money.

Hilarious Silver Babies

The Silver Babies discuss the Fed's new "Social Listening Platform" eavesdropping program:

at least the FED can acknowledge this *one* aspect of reality

They know they'll need to flee the country prior to the revolt, lest they'll be hung in the streets (IF they're lucky).

Such monitoring will help them to know when to get the jets warmed up.

Oh, and btw: Monitor THIS, Bernanke.

I want to help the Fed out

Here I am come and get me bitches!!!

"The more you understand everything, the more you can understand anything."

No, me. Spy on me. Please.

Evil Fed, bad Fed, go sit in the corner Fed!

Fed Spy Network

So this is how it will go down. They will hire the contractor, spend print millions to pay the "lowest bidder" and after years of R & D, tens of millions over budget, as soon as they click it on with the "easy" button it will burst into flames!!! That should give them an accurate consensus!!!

If my need to be RIGHT is greater than my desire for TRUTH, then I will not recognize it when it arrives ~ Libertybelle

id like to apologize first...

For swearing...

The Fed can FUCK OFF. A bunch of elitist bastards centrally planned this fucking nightmare that is about to come crashing down. They used our savings to hand out to their buddies in complete secrecy. The elitism of these cocksuckers blows my mind. Without the internet we would have NEVER understood what they were up to. It doesn't take a goddamn rocket scientist to figure out that these folks have more power over us than any president or congress. I'm amazed they got away with it for so long. Allowing any group the power to create money without oversight has to be the most insidious breach of trust I've ever witnessed.

Ron is correct. The fed will self destruct because markets are much stronger than the bullshit fed to the sheep. The fed failed to see this coming??? BULLSHIT!!!!

So if the fed fuckos are reading this... the gig is up. You bastards are exposed for being the shady, corrupt and elitist pieces of crap that you are. You, nor anyone deserves the unchecked power you have.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Dear federal reserve

go eat a bag of !!!!.

Good. They are starting to

Good. They are starting to realize that the American people are waking up to the fraud known as the Federal Reserve System. They seem to be concerned about the fact that millions know that they have stolen 97 cents of the 1913 dollar. Their game is almost over.

Good. They are starting to

The game I would say has just begun. They will not go down without a fight and they are fighting to stay in power. They will do everything to shut down the Anti-Fed movement. The bankers don't want to be strung up and carried through the streets. The French Revolution for some reason comes into mind. Anyways they should fear us. For now they smile from their castles with wine in their hands, for those smiles will turn to frown. Hopefully were all there to see it.

Just look it up on wikipedia. The Air Force already has been infiltrating social media web sites with 10 computers with 10 ip numbers each. These computers each have 10 different Personnas (names) They have already infiltrated Ron Paul Meet up groups. One in particular has been on this site.

Daily paul

has been infiltrated for years. Some of the older profiles that they still use use older programs that mess up syntax and throw out views that people don't normally have here trying to use the 2 polar extremes to a median idea using 3 "individuals" method and do so regularly. It actually seems infective as that type of argument method does not work on libertarian views which are somewhat more fixed and easily referenced (ie. "aggressive violence is wrong" is a value accepted by all libertarians and "leaving people alone is good for them" is a view accepted by all paleo-libertarians). Most of you are fairly smart, I think if any of you looked carefully you'd be able to figure out who is who. There have been a few posts recently that I thought were suspicious and I've been able to by reversing their argument methods find more of these profiles.

BTW to any FED agents reading this, pick up a history book, you lost a long time ago.

PERFECT! Best thing to do is

Best thing to do is point this out in the debates about why the Federal Reserve isn't "Federal". This will only bite them in the ass.

They won't ask Ron Paul

They won't ask Ron Paul directly a question about the federal reserve, therefor Ron Paul should mention the federal reserve every chance he gets to speak

Maybe instead of the collared

Maybe instead of the collared shirt and tie, he should rock a "End the FED" Tshirt with a sports coat?

Ahhh probably not as a presidential candidate, but we can dream.

Others may see this as a problem

I see opportunity.

This may be the biggest story to come down the pipes in our time.

I can't put my finger on it but I see that we could pull an epic win out of such a deal... like taking out FB or something.

-quiet engineer

Hmm.. an organization engaging in espionage and intimidation?

Sounds like a case for the RICO courts if ya ask me. Time to dismantle the whole frickin' house of cards.

The only purpse for this would be to directly threaten or injure

these "key bloggers."

Otherwise, what's the point?

Now, by "threaten or injure" that may not be harm of a physical nature, but more likely some way to put economic pressure upon them to "shut up" or "be shut up." In short, this will be a campaign of intimidation and spite.

With this announcement, the Fed has declared open warfare on We the People.

As such, they now (as if they didn't already for other clear reasons) constitute a DOMESTIC THREAT to the lives, liberty and property of the American People, perhaps second only to the Federal Government itself.

Linda Cross's picture

Biggest heist in the history of the world

The Fed has given out over 16 Trillion to banks foreign and domestic in the past few years. Our national debt is only 14 Trillion. The Fed with the blessings of the US Treasury was doling out TRILLIONS while we were protesting a few BILLION in stimulus money. I feel robbed, especially every quarter when I send in my hard earned estimated tax money. After reading your article, I just had to say something negative about the Federal Reserve!

If you see something, say something, the government is listening.
Silence isn't golden, it's yellow.

I didn't know the FED was

a law enforcing agency. I always was told they are neutral and independent.

MY how times are changing.

Look out when they hire Blackwater to "enforce" their will

upon dissenting bloggers.

Ha ha ha!

I don't suppose that they'd like to point out their authority to do this in their Fed Charter?
Because it ain't there, folks. If they do it, they are overstepping their authority.

I hope they aren't planning on using any government resources or gov't budgets on this, because they are not entitled to have any.
This is the mark of a cabal of some desperate criminals who know their jig is up, and are trying to be threatening to people that don't like them, in an attempt to silence dissent.
They are sickening creatures from the underworld. Let's flush them ASAP.

Def eht dne.

Enough badmouthing the FED!
Nobody's perfect, y'know?
Don't you know we Need them?

They're doing what's best for us.
Helping us through the business cycles.
Every time we slam them, it hurts America!

Financial stability is their goal.
Everybody knows this.
Don't you understand!?

(I'm not very creative, but had this mental image about the only way we'll be able to talk about these things is like... a code in the margins... like prisoners and such have to do lol)
