Switch Your Auto Insurance

And encourage your friends to do the same. This is intended to be a focused boycott of a specific industry in response to Ron Pauls exclusion from the Jan. 6th debate. Just make sure they know WHY you are switching. It doesn't matter who you have insurance with, or who you switch to. The fact is, all major insurance carriers advertise on Fox News, but if enough people tell their carriers that they intend to switch to a competitor unless they stop advertising on fox news, maybe their advertisers will put some pressure on them. It doesn't matter if you go from Esurance to State farm, as long as someone is losing money.

My strategy is to be very polite when I call, and to give my insurance company a chance to correct this before I make the switch. But come monday, if Paul isn't in the debate, and they are still advertising on Fox News, Geico will start the year off with one fewer customer.

I have worked in TV news in the past and have seen first hand the effects that advertisers have on news content. This is a far fetched idea, but seeing as how the average consumer pays over $1000 dollars a year in premiums, if we can get 10,000 people to go along with this, there is 10 million dollars not being spent with Geico (or State farm, All state, etc.)

C'mon people. We raised almost 19 million dollars in one quarter. We obviously have some collective spending power. How about taking our collective spending power elsewhere.
