Ron Paul should blast Rick Perry over Mexico

Ron Paul should blast Rick Perry over Mexico

Poor Rick Perry. Under attack from the right for his liberal views on immigration, Gov. Perry becomes Commodore Perry and talks of military action with Mexico. Huh? Ron Paul should and probably will blast Perry for this gosh-awful bad idea. Paul is a credible check and balance against the war faction of the Republicans. America does not need another war, let alone with Mexico. I look forward to Dr. Paul's reaction, a winner for him on this one.

Rick Perry Says Drug War ‘May Require Our Military in Mexico’

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/rick-perry-says...

The way that we were able to stop the drug cartels in Colombia was with a coordinated effort,” Perry said. “It may require our military in Mexico working in concert with them to kill these drug cartels and to keep them off of our border and to destroy their networks. I don’t know all the scenarios that are out there but I think it is very important that we work with them, to keep that country from failing.”

The comments raise questions about whether the governor would support military action by executive order. Perry has long supported sending U.S. troops to Mexico to help with the drug war.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry says he is open to sending American troops to Mexico to help battle drug cartels.

Perry, the Texas governor, likens the situation to Colombia, where the government accepted American military support in battling the war on drugs.

Perry says the current violence may require similar military action.

A New War?

and this time on our border, so it can spill over and America can experience collateral damage??

I know that the general population

reacts to the word "Mexico" right now the way the Germans reacted to the word "Communist" in WWII, BUT I STILL think that the suggestion of yet ANOTHER war..... and THIS time, at OUR border, on OUR landmass would horrify the populace.

I have been stunned that there hasn't been more press and more reaction from the masses to this ridiculous suggestion. Unfortunately, the masses have horrified and disappointed me on so many fronts over the past few years, I think I'm numb.

Doesn't your jaw just kindof drop hearing that bit about Perry wanting to send in troops to MEXICO?
