CENSORED...

...try and watch it NOW, here is what you get:

"This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement from claimants including:

Sorry about that."

You know the funniest part is?

Saturday Night Live has been running the "Seriously?!" sketch for decades... The fact that CNN is just now picking up on that, and the fact that they are misquoting and editing to simply extend the joke, is why I ask people like my dad why they watch the main stream media for 100% of their "news" source. His response was that there is no other viable unbiased source of actual news... mind you, he doesn't have a computer or internet...

Crunch those numbers as you will InfoBabe

Ummm...Are we considering currency devaluation stemming from the credit monetization which allowed for the bailouts?

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead

She is such

an airhead. If she only knew the power of the Darkside of the Fed....

The Libertarian Party, irrelevant since 1971.

Getting a little tired of the media talking to us

like we are 2 year olds who speak like valley girls. This girl should be embarrassed to be covering the news with her flip statements like "seriously?" She should be writing articles for Seventeen magazine.

Well what do you expect?

The only people that would watch that chic, or CNN(or any tel-lies-vision), are people with the mental capacity of a 2 year old valley girl. That's why she's employed...she connects with the audience.

I stopped watching tel-lies-vision in '07 specifically because of their treatment of Ron Paul. I doubt I've missed anything important on the idiot box.

Erin got her job because of her looks....

but you got to give her credit. Doing that interview with the geeky looking guy, she probably spied him out from among the crowd, thought to herself "he looks like a reasonably intelligent person and I bet he don't get much," "piece of cake!", unbuttoned (pulled down) her blouse (I mean, come on, can it get any lower? Why dosen't she just flop one out? or would that be too obvious), walked over and started talking to him. He never stood a chance.
She is probably fully aware of the employment situation and just does what she needs to do to keep the job. And although Maria is deteriorating fast, Erin probably cannot afford to wait.
Never thought she would trade the monkey from crawford for the one from kenya tho.

That interview could be

That interview could be staged

on money being paid back with interest..

this is from nearly a year ago but claims it's a myth: http://www.zerohedge.com/article/no-big-banks-have-not-paid-...

but even still, if they did pay the money back, didn't they pay it back with the secret money they received from the federal reserve?? so they didn't really pay it back..

Yeah it was GREAT! We made

Yeah it was GREAT! We made soo much money, look at me I'm a month away from living in a garbage can!

So best case senario:

20 billion is 2.8 % of 700 billion

1.4 % per year. no compounding

Your all going to disney land!!

Profit and loss

Someone needs to educate this lamebrain that capitalism is about profit and loss. That when you take loss out of the equation, it ceases being capitalism and becomes fascism.

They should have tarred and feathered her right there.

What about the 3 trillion

What about the 3 trillion secretly loaned to foreign central banks? What the printing over close to 20 trillion total to shore up the system? Who did it go to...? well we will never know but we will all have to pay for it eventually that is for sure.

Erin Trying Out for Comedy Central

Looks like Erin Burnett is to Rachel Maddow as Colbert is to O'Reilly. Is she trying out for Comedy Central?

R. Match

If she was..

I'd have to ask her: Seriously?!?!

Hachacha!

:)

She's a baboon, an especially ignorant at that.

Looks Like Erin Burnett..I Thought She Was with CNBC..Hummm..

She laughs at everything. She is a very good liar. Lied well for CNBC as well. She is very pretty, but I don't get sucked in by pretty faces anymore..Madison avenue knows how to get people to watch their crappy shows.

CNN is full of crap

What about the people who lost their homes in this scam, how did they profit? As far as taxpayers making a profit, if you believe numbers that were put out by the fed and the people who received the bailouts your just as dumb as they hope you are. They gave out hundreds of billions in bailouts, put that on our national debt and charged us interest on it and somehow we made a profit. I wonder how these media idiots sleep at night selling out their country and fellow citizens for a paycheck. Sad

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

So wall street is the natural

So wall street is the natural place to protest?

HOW ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT?

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

LOL

+1

FED Prints $16 Trillion.....

... so that puts the total costs of the 2008 bailouts as:
$16 Trillion in Quantitative Easing
$700 billion in TARP

Total: $16.7 trillion.

Current Net Balance: $15.98 trillion (assuming $20 billion paid back, now in a dollar which is worth half as much when you compare it to gold.)

And we're supposed to be ecstatic about a net of $10 billion, maybe $20 billion?

SERIOUSLY Erin?

(Note: These numbers are approximate values as the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury have ZERO accountability.)

But than you would be

But than you would be protesting the federal reserve.

You need to know what you are protesting.

Maybe you aren't protesting the TARP figures she quoted, but the unfairness of the handout. Than you'd be protesting the government.

The figures you quoted, you'd be protesting the Federal Reserve.

Considering all the executives at goldman sachs that should be in jail, maybe you are protesting criminal justice.

You need to go into this with you heads, and have exactly what is wrong at the place you are at.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I know exactly what I am protesting....

... her words, "Did you know that Taxpayers actually made money on the Wall Street bailouts?"

Her statement is completely inaccurate and that is my objection.

The taxpayers lost the figure I quoted. It is on the order of $16 trillion, most likely more.

If a bank was bailed out by Congress for $100 billion, and then "loaned" $1.5 trillion by the Federal Reserve, did the Taxpayer actually make money if it pays back $101 billion? Again, in cheaper dollars?

As I am not a member of "Occupy Wall St," I am not protesting anything right now. I am only simply pointing out the false statement that Erin Burnett made.

Losses are worse than feared, and growing...

.
She is either a liar or just downright stupid.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
Friedrich Nietzsche

thank you! and where did she

thank you! and where did she get these numbers from...Bernankes facebook page?? she doesnt even cite a source...thats some top notch journalism going on there

They've claimed that the TARP

They've claimed that the TARP has been paid back before in the newspapers. But that isn't really the set of problems anyway. I mean, there are a *lot* of problems.

http://www.thestreet.com/story/11049777/tarp-yields-20-billi...

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

what a moron!? the bailouts

what a moron!? the bailouts MADE taxpayers 10 billion dollars!!

Let me get this straight...the govt TOOK 800 billion from taxpayers and somehow that MADE 10 billion!!

The govt cant CREATE anything! It can only take and redistribute. So what; did wall street MAKE 10 billion dollars for taxpayers?? Then they payed back the 800 billion?? Cause i never got a REFUND!!!

I'm sorry, but I don't see

I'm sorry, but I don't see she's done anything wrong.

All the insults look churlish. If she has wounded someones pride by giving us video of what the protestors look like, well, that is what video is for.

But this protest isn't about Ron Paul, and is put on by a lot of socialists. I for one will definately not be complaining to a network about that.

Please don't insult Ron Paul is not please don't insult a staged marxist protest.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I'm flabbergasted that anyone, at this point, thinks CNN

is capable of objectivity.

???

I'm sure this corrupt little hussy

is looking forward to a long and happy career as a propagandist.

The DP should maintain a poll of the most corrupt journalists of the mainstream. My #1 choice is Chris Wallace.

Famous Quote from Justice William O. Douglas

"The Constitution is not neutral.
It was designed to take the government
off the backs of people."

I wrote Erin this...

Ignorant coverage of Occupy Wall Street saying its just "silly" and Erin has "solved the problem". Wow an illegal central bank creates currency and lends it to banks at 0%. Banks get paid a positive rate of return to sit on it or lend it lend it to the governement for more spending driving the country further into bankruptcy....PROBLEM SOLVED! WAY to GO! Are there any repercussions to this illegality? Well a bunch of reckless thieves were prompted up at the expense of prudent savers, inflation of all core staples such as food and energy took root permamnently and millions lost their jobs or homes but other than that PROBLEM SOLVED! What a bunch of silly protestors! Interview a few other people next time top give a more balanced, obejective report instead of just trying to re-enforce your own ignorance on these sweeping, complicated issues Fox News..er sorry I mean CNN.
