Paul supporters STAND DOWN!!

0 votes

Fox has spent the last couple of weeks provoking Paul supporters for a reason. They knew Dr. Paul would not be invited. This is a classic, obvious attempt to manipulate Paul supporters. They want you to protest. They want you to block parking, attack servers, ect, etc. This is soo obvious anyone on this forum advocating such actions should be viewed with extreme suspicion. They are either fools or provocateurs. We must resist this silly attempt to make us look bad before the primaries. If we let campaign headquarters handle this and focus on handing out Paul lit and reaching fellow Americans, Dr. Paul will be unstoppable. Please, pretty please, focus on the goal. Be like water.

What's the alternative?

Walk away with our tails dragging? Not try and have the ONLY message of difference to be heard? To say, "oh well, we tried" when in fact we DID NOT???
I understand there are pacifists in the Ron Paul Revoution, But you need to realize that there are just as many, maybe more, supporters who do represent a large segment of the citizenry who are at their limits with the traitors in the cesspool of D.C. We really do see this as the last chance for Freedom and Liberty and are witnessing a censorship and denial of our rights. We will not go quietly in the night.

MSM Blowback

This may actually work in our favor. If the public sees the blatant disregard for Ron Paul, especially in New Hampshire, then they may give a closer look at him out of disgust for the way the MSM is treating him.

i tend to agree

While voicing your displessure is important i think that only works when networks care about their viewers opinion, i doubt they do. The r3V0Lution will not be televised, it will be taught. * I do not fear death, I fear life without liberty*

I do not fear death, I fear life without liberty.

An effective counter measure

An idea: Lets put together a quick site, like the blimp site, to raise some quick cash.

Lets buy time on the other NH TV channels during the NH/GOP chat and run a commercial free popular movie. Every ten minutes or so we run a short message crawl saying "This break from politics brought to you by the supporters of Ron Paul for President"

Steal their audience and kill their ratings. That will hurt Fox and insure that their local stations don't allow this to happen in other states as we move forward.

Has "V for Vendetta" been released for television yet?

If not, then the original Matrix movie would be a good one to go with.

I don't agree

Why would Kent Snyder (RP campaign mgr) make that post about Fox excluding RP if he wanted us all to sit back and let him handle it? He did it to make waves. And he clearly has:

Agreed

Stay out of it. No entangling Fox tails. mind your own business.

why site owner would even stray into this debacle is beyond me. Boycott this site all faithful RP supporters..

Tuning Out and Signing off.

Yep, like a tsunami...

Ohmmmmm

Ohmmmmm

Dave - I agree with you 100%

It's not an issue of violent vs. non-violent protesters.

I remember watching the you-tube videos of the 911 truthers trying to disrupt the Bill Maher show. It was an abject failure. They came across as fringe.
This is exactly the goal of the empire - to label us as such.

Any sort of mass demonstration or protest at the round table discussions, or attempt to disrupt it, would cause damage to the campaign.

And it's unnecessary. Not that many people will be watching this relatively unimportant event, in any case. If you have the energy to be in New Hampshire, you should be out canvassing and talking to people and helping drive people to the polls.

Thank you!!!

Excellent point, we are talking about a candidate forum, not even a debate. Not that many people are going to watch this one way or the other, so why bother freaking out about it. If the official campaign can't convince them that Dr. Paul should be included, then a bunch of complaints won't either. We should all focus on getting out the vote in IA and NH, not worrying about FoxNews and their dwindling audience. It is unlikely that anything Dr. Paul says will convince the average Fox viewer to support him one day before the NH primary. Time to move on.

Re:

Agreement into not doing anything can backfire. It sets a prececent, and there is not much time before the primaries. It sets an example that "it is time to exlclude Ron Paul" from other debates and that supporters won't do anything about it. Not do anything?? Apathy for allowing the debate/forum to continue without doing anything is the last thing that should be considered.

Use this anger to work harder to support Dr. Paul

Attacking Fox is what they want. Hit the streets for the doc!

This is a trap. Walk away from it and get the word out.

My post comes from experience

Diverting your opponent’s attention is a victory. Our focus is a return to the Constitution. Ron Paul has used this document as a base for years. His focus on the power and beauty of the Constitution is why we are all here on this forum. If we can keep our focus on the message of peace and prosperity through the Constitution we will attract more and more voters. If we focus our attention on Fox news, right before the primaries, we lose. I'm not afraid of failure. I am focused on victory. We must stick together.

Dave, Where have U Been???

We've all been waiting for someone to come in and start giving orders!!!

What do you mean where has Dave been?

Dave has been an upstanding member for almost 2 days. What should we do next Dave?

Not 2 days....

I have to say you are wrong... ONE day and 22 hrs at this writing.

How do you propose to join less than two days ago, Dave and then come in here ordering people to stand down? I find that very odd.

I'll be contacting my local advertisers on Faux to let them know that anyone supporting a censorship network, will not receive any of my business.

Go right ahead

Be my guest, fella. This election is huge. I'm involved for myself and my family. I'd hate to see it get screwed up by a lack of intelligence and discipline. Fox is playing you like a fiddle. Everytime you react proves you are listening to their music. Can you even hear RP's message. You are dancing with Fox. That's exactly where they want you.

So, how can we look FANTASTIC before the primaries...

Hi, Dave,
I appreciate your concern, but your post comes to this primarily from fear of failing, and not as a guide for success.

If you are fearful that

We must resist this silly attempt to make us look bad before the primaries

The more interesting question is what would make us look really fantastic.

Personally, I think a coming together of 7,000 Ron Paul supporters for our biggest primary, to hear speeches about the importance of freedom, broadcast all over YouTube, with media everywhere, with the blimp overhead, with talking about how this is a people's reLOVEution, and not a corporate media driven campaign, with dancing in the street, and a march, and Ron Paul there to talk about what we need for Prosperity, and what we need for Peace, and what we need for Freedom and how we are going to take that,

That would make us look great for the

Yes!!!

And, what we want most is that whatever we do between now and the primary brings voters in and to the polls.

What DenPratt suggests 'feels' to me like the Ron Paul approach. Anything else could backfire on us the 'next' day at the polls and that is the last thing we want. This feels more and more like a trap...and this thread makes me feel hope that we will do the right thing and turn it into a huge advantage.

Disrupting the little forum (where undoubtedly plans would be laid to try to make Dr. Paul look bad) is the worst thing possible. It would only result in bad PR for RP...probably the only publicity the forum would get at this point.

WONDERFUL

Get Lemons, make Lemonade. We MUST make this a positive!

Be like water

Great adise, it sounds like kung fu. Use the strength of the enemy against him and do not fall into a trap. No violence, we will be like Mahatma Gandi and Martin Luther, firm, resilient, constant and we will win..

Bruce Lee's advice

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

Bruce Lee would

have liked Dr. Paul, I think. I practiced judo in my youth, and I can tell you that he who keeps in control and channels his emotions usually wins. Let's be smarter than our enemies.

Alert

Sorry, we don't take orders from anyone. First ammendment is specifically designed to be heard in the redress of grievances. This I believe is a legitimate grievance for most of us.

Stand up and be counted.

Write-good idea

It is human nature to read this email. Though they will say they did not. It is an excellent idea. Cannot be faulted or pointed to as disruptive or made to look like a fool. It is doing something and we have to, we simply have to do something. Poster below (Supermanos) sent an excellent letter which I plan to plagerize. I will get the list of advertisers too and stop buying from them. I have already turned Fox off and I used to watch it all the time.

The last three times I have heard there was a blurb about Dr. Paul and I watched, they used him as the teaser for the whole hour. They are very aware that he gets the viewers.

Problem is, we need some new news stations. I don't really like spending any more time on my computer. Makes my eyes do weird things.

Who buys air time?

Do you really think Fox did not factor in the chance of a Boycott? Do you think the largest ad buyers like the Pharmaceutical companies want Ron Paul at the debate? You are wasting your time and doing exactly what they want. Your attention is now on them. This is powerful. Once you divert your attention from RP you are helping their cause. Don’t fall in to this trap. I’ll repeat myself. Any member here advocating other members take their attention from Ron Paul’s message of prosperity and peace and place it on Fox news is either a fool or worse. View them with suspicion.

I'm kinda viewing you with a

I'm kinda viewing you with a little suspicion, actually.

Complain politely to your local advertisers on Faux news.

In fact, this kind of bias

May be the best possible way to promote what would otherwise be a poorly-rated show. Look how much of our attention it's taken this AM alone!!

And meanwhile, the Blimp's being mysterious & not-even-moving when it should be circling Duval county or going down the east coast by now.

So far, the map shows nothing this AM.
