Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) said Wednesday that when Americans find out what the Federal Reserve is up to it is “no wonder they are up on Wall Street raising cain because they know the system is biased against the average person."
Speaking at the National Press Club, the presidential hopeful said, “The Federal Reserve is bigger and spends more money than the Congress does” with approximately fifteen trillion dollars worth of transactions.
Herman Cain, another challenger for the Republican nomination, said that he believed the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protests were "orchestrated" to help President Obama, and denounced the protesters during an interview published by the Wall Street Journal.

Hypothetically...
I wonder what would happen if RP were to speak in front of these crowds and tell them about FED and how money ends up getting lost. Would they get it ? Would it stir things up ? Would we get converts? Just wondering...
Good interview.
Well done, Dr. Paul.
Thanks for sharing this video.
Still doubting?
Still having doubts on whether this is for Ron Paul Libertarians or not??? Plenty of missed opportunities here for supporters to be out spreading the message of liberty, freedom , and the constitution.. as well as "end the fed"
Speak now or forever hold your peace. This movement will echo across all of America and the world. Let the voice of Libertarians be heard for it is the same voice of most attending an "occupy" event!

I'm worried that they are already geting their message co-opted.
A lot of dems and unions are really warping the original message it seems to be an anti-tea party organization instead of the previous message of government corruption by wallstreet.
I read some good stuff by some OWS supporters like:
Constitutional ammendment for seperation of corporation and state.
(A really great step towards seperation of econmics and state like A. Rand advised and maybe a remedy against money in politics if government can NOT interfere with law making without changing their right to donate.)
End corporate status as "people".
Couple with other planks and this could be a solid list of demands.
Legalization of sound money.
End Federal Reserve System.
End War on Drugs and military interventionalism overseas.
End all foreign aid.
Non-entagling alliances and normalization of relations with all nations.
yeah
yeah i read some of that too, and im a BIG supporter of occupy wall street
i dont understand the criticism of it because i feel like this is what needs to happen and its only going to grow, there is too much energy in it
i dont think it will get taken over by another party at all, at least not in this year lol
Economic Siege
So go on strike... on Black Friday. Sitting on the sidewalk protesting and getting locked in jail doesn't do it. What works is shutting down the system, no buying, no selling, no working, drops a big ole monkey wrench into that Keynesian circular flow thing.
That's what the Germans did when the Weimars inflated the hell out of their currency and destroyed the economy. They held a big nation wide general strike.
In the spirit of making the same mistakes the Germans did, let's make one more. Let's shut down the economy on the most crucial economic day of the year and put Congress under economic siege!
If anyone can orchestrate it, we Paulers can.
According to Numbers 5:11, abortions are supposed to be performed by priests, not doctors.

It would be good for Americans to
reduce frivolous consumption and spending. And a general strike would reflect badly on Congress; but it doesn't immediately put economic pressure on politicians nearly so much as on tradespeople. They are suffering already.
Sounds good, but will you at least let us see the remainder...
..of the season for American Idol, X Factor USA, and Dancing with the Stars?
"I support the Declaration of Independence and I interpret the Constitution."
