Only 4-5 people protesting the Fed in San Francisco
The OWS crowd is in front of the Fed here with signs like " Capitalism Doesn't Work" and " Tax The Rich" they are causing trouble with the cops and they look like fools. We few kept our distance, stayed together and explained we were not with them. We stayed till about 1645 then took off because the OWS crowd was getting too big and obnoxious. We did not want to tarnish our image. If you want to protest the Fed in San Francisco we suggest meeting at the Ferry building where we will be more effective and away from the ridiculous OWS crowd.

Provocatuers exist, and they get in on the ground floor. If you don't want to be seen with them, at least go LISTEN to them. You will spot idiots, but you will also find people who need you to find them before the idiots do. Seriously, do you want someone who JUST saw "Freedom to Facism" for the first time to fall directly into the hands of the idiots? Then you must occupy your space, and here is the hard part, let them occupy theirs. And do it in peace, side by side. THAT is what "99%" is about. It says "I know some of my neighbors are idiots, but they are my neighbors and I defend their right to be idiots."
It is tough love time, baby. Sometimes loving people is so tough it makes you want to throw up, but it is the correct place to operate from.

Well It has started in Utah there were about 300 people at our capital today, There are a lot of people holding the right kinda signs already, They seem to be mad at the banks, but I am going to get a megaphone and head up there and make sure they know who the real enemy is for certain the FEDERAL RESERVE..
This is my chance to make a difference and I am not going to miss it. Ill try to get someone to get video of this.

Occupy The Fed can be a separate movement
Why so many many irrelevant comments about OWS? Why not regard Occupy The Fed as a separate libertarian movement that backs Ron Paul?
The elites will have a hard time co-opting a movement that wants to directly expose and end the fed.

Yes, he's bombastic and volatile...
But, NO. We do not need to separate ourselves from one of the most widely listened to alternative news sources, radio hosts, and alt-media pioneers in the world. Say what you will about his abrasive style, but he is TIRELESS and a powerful force in the Liberty movement. His culture-jamming initiatives, protesting efforts and leadership should be an example to all of us, and I suspect many here in the DP community agree with that, if not with Jones' manner. I am no hero-worshiper, not of Jones and not even of RP, but I RESPECT both of them a great deal for their initiative and courage and ingenuity and leadership most of all. He reaches millions everyday, and those people can contribute to our brushfire-setting in the push for this election cycle, not to mention fertilize the grassroots power of the Liberty Movement.
There should be NO distances encouraged or created between our community here on DP and any power source that can bring more individuals into the fold... troll :)
RP Supporters - Co-Opting OWS Movement
Ron Paul Supporters - Is the OWS Movement something to support or avoid?
The fact is, the OWS movement is expending energy in a way that Ron Paul Supporters, having many of the same desires to change American monetary policy, are not.
While RP Supporters agree with many of the aims of the OWS movement (as loosely defined as they are), such as End the Fed, honest money, etc, and since RP Supporters have a MUCH greater understanding of monetary policy, is it good political action to just avoid such an energized mass?
Has there EVER been any historical political/economic movement having near-term results, which DIDN’T have an energized mass of citizens?
Are changes in the political and economic structure only possible by academic discussions?
Is there time for a century-long RP movement to emerge through academic discussion via libraries and blogs?
Shouldn’t “Co-Opting” equally work in the favor of Ron Paul?
If RP Supporters just sit on their hands, and avoid the opportunity to educate and lead, isn’t it a certainty that the OWS movement will be misdirected and result in the same Elitist & Global Feudalism ends, rather than individual liberty with honest money?
Whether RP Supports like it or not, citizen action will result in attention to issues. If RP Supporters sit back as spectators, rather than participants, the outcome will surely be co-opted toward socialist and fascist dependent serfs, further increasing our Global Feudalism.

The problem is that we have a leftist person here on the site who is going around posting a fake list of demands which are NOT really from OWS, in an attempt to dupe people who don't click the link and read the article to find that it's from another blogger who listed his OWN list of what HE would prefer to see from OWS.
Check it out. I'll bet you have seen this fake list posted about "sound money" and the like. That's the fake list.
The REAL list is demanding $20 per hour wages for everybody regardless of job, and "free college" and a trillion dollars spent on "infrastructure", all debt wiped off the books so they can go back to socialist spending again, etc.
As for the "highly energized groups", it depends on what they are "energized" about.
This OWS group has made it abundantly clear that their goals are more socialist spending and deeper debt, because their published demands require such spending.
As such, they are supporting the need to borrow from these very same banks on Wall Street. Or, they are supporting the end of the free market, the capitalist system, and the end of America, replacing it with a communist "command economy".
The real focus of their anger is against the free market and capitalism in general, because they are Marxist communists. And Wall Street is the symbol for capitalism, even if it is perverted. So they go there to protest capitalism, and demand communism.
Nothing particularly hard to figure out about what this "movement" OWS is.

Drudge is starting to note that the protests are shifting to the federal reserve banks.
I remember hearing Glenn Beck talk about this "Occupy Wallstreet" a few months ago and he identified it as being started by the commie types (Soros and friends) and even though he gets on my nerves a lot, I have no reason to doubt that a lot of these big liberal folks didn't do a lot to organize this... but I am lovin that it's gettin hijacked by free market proponents wanting to end the fed.
This could be the largest platform we've gotten to teach a LOT of people that see there is a problem but are currently misguided on how to fix it.

The only thing that is going to bring down Wall street cronyism to an end is the free market system and a return to rule of law.
The participation of free marketers in these protests, foolishly believing that they can atually topple a corrupt system by street demonstrations, only demonstrates how little they understand their enemies.
The Occupy Wall Street theater is for the benefit of the bankers. It is NOT for those who have legitimate complaints about bailouts.
The Communists in the street are the pressure from the rabble below. The top pressure from the media, the rich and the establishment foundations funding these street shows will use these events to give themselves more power.
The breakdown of law and order never benefits liberty; it hinders its sane return. Violence and disruption are the tools of the anti-capitalists that don't share the trust that Ron Paul fans share for free markets. Infiltrating the OWS pincers movement is not going to happen since it is controlled from the top down. Most people at these OWS events are bought and paid for by the establishment unions, foundations and government-funded outfits like Planned Parenthood. If we can't even carry on a calm discussion on this website what makes you think that out on the street, where passions are being raised by demogogs with bullhorns, is going to provide an environment conducive to restoring the rule of law?
You assume that the rule of law can be restored by a mob when history has demonstrated that mobs are tools of those that incite the mobs to riot. The French revolution is the exact opposite of what the American War for Independence was fought for. The instigators of the French revolution were the rich that the mobs supposedly were waring against.
In America the colonist didn't wage war against the rich but against political tyranny; they didn't wage war against wealth but the freedom to acquire it; and not against traditional moral restraints but with those restraints in tact with the goal of loosing the bureacratic regulations that were choking the life from the people in America.
One restores the rule of law with the law and the remaining freedom we still have left. It's a disadvantage but the only option we have to gain the people on our side. The mob way will do one thing: create a backlash from the people whom we need to help us restore the rule of law.
The mobs are helping the powers that be and those "powers that be" control the content and the interpretation of the news. You won't get a break or get to present your case on television. The news makers will present you as rioters and anti-government fanatics that have no rspect for private property.

What happens to the $15 trillion national debt...
...once the Fed is abolished? We are still liable for paying off The Great American Public's Platinum Plus Credit Card debt, which has been run up over its limit.
The Powers are letting this whole "End The Fed" movement to happen because the Fed wants to be "ended". The crooks have made their money; leaving us with the debt, and they will conveniently disappear. Then, when we are rioting and going nuts killing one another, and going hungry, we will (according to Griffin) welcome a World Central Bank, which will be more than willing to come to our rescue, as long as we give up the last of our sovereignty as a nation.
