lol @ dude @ 3:12...

i hate it when tables do that

There should be a concerted

There should be a concerted effort to show the contrast between Ron Paul and Herman Cain. I’ve been noticing a lot of people on different forums saying things like “the only candidates that are speaking the truth are Paul and Cain”, or things like “Paul/Cain 2012”.

It must be pointed out how much of an establishment shill Herman Cain really is. His working for the Fed, his neocon foreign policy, his over the top pro-Zionist stance, and his rampant Islamophobia (him saying that Islam is not protected under the first amendment because it’s “not a religion”) should be clearly illustrated.

He will soon become the bankers last hope if Romney starts slipping. They’re already propping him up as a Plan D, and I think he could take votes away from potential Ron Paul supporters who see him as a “straight shooter”. The reality of his background and his real agenda should be made clear.

Isn't there professional

Isn't there professional footage of his speech? Usually this kind of stuff gets up quick. I can't find the actual footage anywhere. The footage that's up is good but I definitely would like to see the actual recording. Is there none?

Poll’s organizer dismissing the results of the poll: Blessing

The poll’s organizer dismissing the results of his own poll, in this case, is a blessing in disguise. Tony Perkins, the poll's organizer, was in a scandal in which he bought David Duke's mailing list. Ron Paul won the approval of the voters and the disapproval of the David Duke Klan—that's a win-win situation in my book. It's like eating a delicious cake without the calories. http://www.thenation.com/article/justice-sunday-preachers

Its good to see...

Dr Paul is doing so well...

The Libertarian Party, irrelevant since 1971.

Ron Paul and Real Steel

So I'm watching Real Steel (the robot boxing movie) and I couldn't help compare the underdog robot's (Atom) with Ron Paul.

I could go on and on comparing every aspect of the robot's career to Ron Paul, but I'll just focus on the big end fight between Atom and the giant robot, Zeus.

Zeus has much more power, but Atom knows how to fight and can take a lot of punishment...much like Ron Paul. A lot of people think Ron Paul just has a great platform, liberty, but really Ron Paul is a very crafty rhetorical fighter and spins the MSM spin against it...as a smaller fighter uses a bigger fighters weight against itself. For example, in 2007, Ron Paul didn't come out and say that 9/11 was an inside job...instead, RP used the government's own publications against it, calling the 9/11 attack "blowback" which was in stark contrast to the endless support the war rhetoric. That was when Ron Paul burst on the scene.

Anyway, in the match, Zeus tries to overwhelm Atom with it's size, reach, power, etc. Likewise, the GOP tries to overwhelm Atom with it's size, media, power, etc. But both Atom and Ron Paul weathered the storms and even getting in lots of shots of his own.

In the final round, Zeus is pounding away on Atom...and Atom is in pure defense mode waiting for Zeus to expend too much energy. When he does, Atom attacks and puts Zeus down.

Indeed, the GOP has kept on the pressure on RP. Hopefully, it will run out of energy (money and will), when RP (and us) can exact real change within the GOP.

As goofy as this is, it shows just how special Ron Paul is. Almost no one could take what RP has taken without selling out. It takes a lot of will and fighting knowledge to survive in politics.

Ron Paul is universal in appeal.

Who say's Ron Paul can't win in Washington? Maybe the beltway isn't so scary after all. Maybe there are reasonable people who would like their Republic back from the neocon thugs. Ron needs to take this message to Iowa and New Hampshire and score early wins. The message to sit on: Mitt Romney at 4%? Doesn't matter what poll, or where, do the math, 4% hardly makes one feel confident.

They're all chasing Ron Paul, and they know it!

Dr. Paul is peaking just right. He's a patient man, and people are starting to realize that integrity is a good thing. We haven't seen it in Washington for so long, we don't even expect it anymore, but here comes Ron Paul. He's picking up steam, and if we all keep increasing our contributions, this freight train will roll right into the oval office!

better video quality?

One of the best RP speeches ever - I would love to forward to my friends but the video quality is poor. Is there another version anywhere?

I agree galatians. That

I agree galatians. That speech was easily one of RP's best speeches. This speech shows christians his clear command of the bible. He clearly reads and studies the bible most likely daily. I too hope to find a better vid.

If you've been watching the national news coverage this morning you'd probably notice that it appears that this event never happened. No mentions so far.

It's worse than you think.

Pat Dollard exploits downs syndrome child to belittle Ron Paul VVS straw poll victory.

Paul ante portas.

Pat Dollard stopped exploiting downs syndrome child.

They took this page down. I have a screen shot. Should we post it to expose those reprobates?

It's now: Error 404. Page Not Found.

"Packing the auditorium"

If this summit is anything like the 2008 one, then only Values Voters DELEGATES were allowed to vote, so this whole concept of, "Oh, Ron Paul just packed his supporters into the auditorium," is completely false.

Are people talking about a VP already? I nominate either Thomas Sowell or Walter E. Williams.

after watching part two, I came across this...

HIGHLY recommended for any of us who need a ten-minute "inspiration break."

Will probably take me 2 or 3 hours to get rid of the "warm and fuzzies" now!!

What do you do with the Christian Right. see below

Help! What do you do with this kind of rhetoric against Dr. Paul??!!

Pseudochristian "right"

This is the kind of freakazoid I think of when I hear the term "Family Values."

"Family Values" was the catchphrase in '04 and '00 that gave us the Cheney/Bush sock puppet act.

I'm not a "Christian," but I don't deny Jesus of Nazareth. I merely think of him more as a brother than as some sort of establishment-approved golden calf.

But the ones that REALLY piss me off are the pseudochristians that bandy his name about, and beat us over the head with their "morality," while in their day-to-day life they go forth and do the opposite of what he was trying to teach.

I think my favorite Bible quote is John 8:32:
"and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

Freedom is my Worship Word.

Wow!! What a despicable and evil woman that Donna Garner is...

...be prepared to throw up in your mouth a little bit if you read her diatribe @ that link!!

Here's her email address... Wgarner1@hot.rr.com

Her Inbox deserves to be inundated with things like that first comment by "Robert Pegram" a few minutes ago.

OMG!! And look at THIS...

...horrible hit-piece by the same ENEMY of freedom!!

Personally, if any "AmeriKan" citizens were to be labeled as "combatants" and executed I think THIS one should have been higher on "the list" than either Usama B.L. or Awlaki.

Finally just got to watch this: it was beautiful.

One of his best speeches ever.

So what's the deal with the cheap tickets?

Others are attributing the win to the cheap tickets provided the RP supporters. So doesn't that make it meaningless?

Do other candidates provide cheap tickets? I need to know!

Doesn't really look good to buy votes.

Here's the letter from RP's campaign:

"P.S. Next week’s Values Voter Summit Straw Poll is absolutely critical. Voting begins Friday, October 7, and runs through Saturday, October 8.

Can I count on you to be there? Tickets are only $10. It’s vital we have a strong showing!"

Nothing preventing the other

Nothing preventing the other Campaigns from doing the same, also, no one seemed to care when Bachman bought the Aims straw poll...

"The world is a dynamic mess of jiggling things, if you look at it right." - Richard Feynman

If they can do it, but are not....

If RP is the only one buying cheap tickets, that makes it meaningless in many people's eyes - doesn't matter if others could do it or not.

Seems to make it easy for the media to discredit him.

Are we going to have to pay people to vote in the primaries?

How much did Bachmann spend on Iowa - any references?

I believe the amount reported in the press that Bachmann spent was $35,000. I might be off but you can google it.

It doesn't make sense to ask "are we goingto pay people to vote in the primaries?"
People werent paid to vote, their tickets were subsidized. thats totally different. Also, people aren't charged $100 dollars to vote in the primaries, they were for a straw poll.

Don't believe the hype.

Buddhist for Paul.

I don't like labels, but the closest religious label for myself would be Buddhist. (Technically Buddhism is more of a philosophy or way of life than a religion.) Just wanted to point out that Paul's truth has a broad appeal to people of from all walks of life...

"The world is a dynamic mess of jiggling things, if you look at it right." - Richard Feynman

not to "label" you, but you might be a Deist.

just a thought, no pun intended.;]

I certainly do not reject the idea of a creator and if I were to embrace the concept then Deism is appealing, yet ultimately we cannot know. What appeals to me about Buddhism is that no faith is required. The Buddha rejected all the religions of his day because he was more concerned with how to live right here and now, in this moment. The eyes cannot see themselves, only a reflection. We cannot comprehend the infinite with our finite minds, so lets look to what we can see, the truth. Ron Paul knows Truth.

"The world is a dynamic mess of jiggling things, if you look at it right." - Richard Feynman

Why do you....

Why do you tell everybody that? You told me that when I said I was an Animist. Did you ever look up what I was talking about? LOL! Love you man!

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

Very true.

Thanks for pointing that out.
