New Paul Ad - Foreign Policy

(This video should be imbedded on the the front page by now.)

"POLITICO's Dan Hirschhorn sends over a sneak peek at Ron Paul's new TV ad, being released later today.

It's a 30-second spot that puts some hawkish (and fiscally focused) packaging on his long-held dovish foreign policy. It's the second of three spots in Paul's latest $1 million-plus buy.

"The Paul plan for security? Start protecting America's borders. Stop wasting American money," a narrator says.

All told, Paul's camp is spending $2.5 million late last month and early this month on TV, mail and targeted Internet advertising, Dan reports."

The ad is actually well done!

Hope they put out some more of this type of ad.

Excellent

Great ad. Straight up the middle. Straight to the point. Just right for Republican voters. (You can search before posting.)

It's not bad but we need specifics on foreign policy such as:

Show how many troops we deploy worldwide (over half a million).

Show how much money our deployed troops spend on foreign economies - in effect funnelling money from the U.S. to the economies of Germany, Japan, Korea, England, the middle east etc.

Show what these hundreds of thousands of troops do all day on foreign military bases (are they busy playing cards?).

Show how the economies the countries we occupy and defend grow rich because they don't have to spend a dime on their national defense.

I could go on and on.

We need SPECIFICS in these ads to drive the point home of our flawed foreign policy.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I like it.

I like it.

Should Help

Not my favorite ad, but it is simple, to the point, and should help.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

I agree

I think it paints the difference between defense and militarism.
