Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul is out with a new ad that portrays him as a veteran who will secure America’s borders and rebuild its defenses.

The 30-second spot titled “Secure” includes flashing images of military helicopters and aircraft carriers. The ad states that America will not be the world’s policeman and spend trillions overseas.

Paul has said that he would end all military engagements around the world and bring every troop home.

Another great ad would be describing WHY we can't be the policemen of the world. Maybe a 1-2-3 part commercial.

Or even better and CHEAPER

Have it shown as Ad #1 and have at the end. To learn WHY we can't be the policemen of the world go to ronpau2012.com/troops (this isn't a real page, I don't think so at least but used as an example).

Just play the first ad and then direct them to go to ronpaul2012.com/somepage and they will have a better chance of googling and researching ron paul versus just watching some political ad.

We need ACTION during these ads and not simply. I am ron paul and I approve this message. It should be something better and more motivating like "Join the fight and help us get our country back by going to ronpaul2012.com RIGHT NOW and GET ACTIVE!"

I love the ad but we need it to get the TV PEOPLE to walk over to their computers and TURN THEM ON and then go to ronpaul2012.com or better yet a leader page (squeeze page/sales page whatever you want to call it. It is a page that SELLS whatever it is and makes someone do something whether that be click an ad, signup for email alerts, donate etc) so it could actually be split tested to see which ad is actually generating ACTION.

I've felt, mainly by hearing from tea partiers, that national security issues were our movements weakest point.

Not because Paul hasn't clearly addressed the issue, but because that is the number one topic the medias been smearing him on causing people to think he's weak in that aspect.
