Respect to the RP effort but the greatest sngle opporunity of your generation you will let slip by?

Guys, brothers and sisters in liberty,

What you are seeing with Occupy Wall Street is real and it's big, it's a wave so large that it dwarfs us.

Reports are in: they know we have problems and we have the solutions.

Folks, I'm old and I have over 30 years of activist experience. This is the real thing. This is a turning point and it's one of those moments in history where you can get involved or spend the rest of your life wishing you had because this really is a morphous and fluid and dynamic situation and you conservatives that see only MoveOn and other infiltration and co-option things happening better take a very sober look at yourselves in the mirror and recognize what happened to Tea Party and the Glen Beck co-option. And you better recognize that with these liberals, they are going against their orthodoxy, their Obamessiah in a way that we are doing with the GOP and everybody is antiwar, anti-usurpatory monetary practices and if they don't understand what the failures of Federal Reserve monetary policy is, WHO'S FAULT IS THAT? OURS THAT'S WHO'S BECAUSE NOBODY BUT US TEACHES THIS HONEYS.

My summation is if you don't like where this Occupy Wall Street thing is going, if you don't get out there and talk to these people then you have only yourself to blame and by the way, mistake the Consensus System Of De-Centralized Authority for anything other than voluntarism put into real action for real human need and you are blind to the benefits of being a human being.

If that don't take you down a peg or two then you ain't got the guts these people do. They are putting their bodies on the line for what they believe in and they are getting maced and tased.

It seems to me that the

It seems to me that the liberals protesting are NOT going against their orthodoxy, as @Smudge suggests. They are blaming everyone but the Obama administration and asking for more of the same failed policies. The only difference is that they are asking for government to choose to favor them this time.

I don't disagree that we may be able to spread the more intelligent message of what is actually happening.

It may be a great thing. But

It may be a great thing. But the people there are not voting in the Iowa Republican Caucus. Or even the New Hampshire primary. My guess is that they aren't voting in ANY republican primary ANYwhere.

The fact that this is being ignored by

media and when it IS reported, they talk to some idiot who's there to get out of school should tell you something. There are many thousands of people who got off their butts and are protesting. Many of them just want people to know how angry they are and many of them just don't know what the solutions are. They are ripe for education. For a new direction. Don't believe what's reported. Remember you're ARE Ron Paulites. You should know better. The police state tactics being used against them are the very things we're opposed to.

Vote me down if you like

but I agree with the author.

From what I have seen about the majority of the OWS movement... they haven't the slightest idea how we got to where we are and how to correct it. The one thing that we share in common is that they, like us, are a populist grassroots movement. As misguided as they might be I see a huge potential in the movement.

For instance, I like Matt Gonzales. I like Kucinich. I like Jim Traficant. I may not like their specific policies for the most part, but at least it is populist in nature and not statist/corportist. I would like to see a populist left spin off (Green Party) of this to compete with the statist Democratic Party, much like our populist Libertarianism competes with the statist Republicans.

I was expecting

this thread to be coming. It was only a matter of time.

Apparently now, it's being declared right here that the communist movement is more important to support than RP.
And it is....IF you're a communist.
And if you are, don't miss all the other worldwide communism events in all the other countries that are coordinated with this one and all scheduled for this month too.

Wake up folks.

I think the writer is absolutley correct

I believe that these people are going to play a huge role in the 2012 elections. This movement will have a bigger impact than the tea party did in 2010. These people are angry and anger is one of the best motivators there is. They may not be correct in the target of their anger, but they have a damn good reason to be angry. Whomever it is that wins these people's minds wins their votes. If we educate them as to why they are in the predicament they are and we can direct that anger at the right people we will have doubled or tripled our ranks of voters that will vote for no one else. These people have to take breaks and many will be a captive audience. We have the message and everyone here knows that. We all agree that if people took the time to listen and think about the message then they would agree with it. Well, this is the perfect opportunity to score big with a motivated audience that has the time to listen.

The 100th monkey just "got it."

It is odd to see so many monkeys who think they "get it" already, but this is bigger than their denial. They will "get it" soon. Truth is FINALLY busting out.
