Thanks for posting
That was an interesting exchange to say the least...lol.
outrageously ironic?
A.B Stoddard's answer was hilarious.
(rough transcription)
A.B.-
"Frankly I think that Ron Paul winning I mean I really like to dismiss straw polls especially when Ron Paul wins then but Ron Paul winning that Value Voter poll could had been a big thing for Rick Perry and if he'd won if we'd say he's coming back and I think a lot of the value voters picked Ron Paul who doesn't talk about these values over Rick Perry and that's saying something."
Wallace-
"Viewers say you guys discount Ron Paul, you guys in the media, if he wins or does well it's always, I mean doesn't he deserve some credit?"
A.B.-
"He does...I did say and we always discount them...Ron Paul made a joke before the Iowa straw poll that if he didn't win it'd be an important straw poll and if he did win it would be nothing...He is very good at winning but as I said the Values Voter straw poll [which Ron Paul won] would had been a perfect place for Rick Perry to come back and he didn't. And I just think it says something."
Not
Even going to watch it, thanks for the post though.

this is disgusting and disrespectful to all of us
What is this?? they think we are stupid or what? they come up with a segment that says just couple of nice words about ron paul, that is an internet only.. Please... and they have the odasity to mention the Ron paul supporters? it's like this was made up just for us to keep us busy or happy.. Who would actually go on the foxnews website to view the whatever plus show they have? no one other than the die heart supporters. These guys are filthy and disgusting... They don't deserve an email to bring them to the level of human beings.. I think the Ron paul campaign should have a press conference and announce it is boycoting Fox news. Let CNN, NBC and others cover the news. Let Fox defent themselves and find a way to cover up for their bias. There too many facts and clips that show the bias, and an official boycot like this would force the other networks to expose these biases.. That would be a slap in the face for all networks..
Agreed...
Though I don't know about singling out Fox, as ALL the MSM is guilty. Did you see the MSNBC 'scroll' today:
"Hermain Cain wins Minnesota straw poll and comes in 2nd in Value Voter straw poll"
I kid you not.
I gree with you..
but you can not boycott all of the MSM.. so it is better to pick on one and give the rest a lessen.
interesting but "Panel Plus" is internet only
didn't make it to TV...
could you imagine
how many people would be converted to RonPaul if just afew more fox news guys supported him every time he won a straw poll or covered the huge turn outs for his speeches. we would so far ahead of the other candidates theprimaries would be over! What a wonderful dream.
Overall kind comments but one thing he said was wrong
Overall kind comments but one thing he said was wrong--In a general election Ron Paul won't be taking away votes from Obama? He's gotta be kidding me!
-RP will bring home the troops
-RP will allow states to use medicinal marijuana
-RP will end the Patriot Act
All the campaign promises in which Obama came up short and actually did a 180! Many moderate dems and hard core liberals feel betrayed.
Dr. Paul must continue to
Dr. Paul must continue to deny any thoughts about running on a 3rd party ticket. But we the supporters should encourage it. This country is so incredibly screwed. What is the worst that could happen? We split the conservative vote and re-elect Obama? My God, we are far beyond the point that a Mitt Romney could help us from. And there is a good chance that the Senate will fall to the Republicans. You heard them. They are afraid. Let's stoke it a little. They know that if Ron Paul supporters call loud enough, he might do it.
I'm a former democrat,
left the fold when Clinton came on the scene, but usually voted 3rd party in the presidential races. The media just doesn't get it. There is a BUNCH of democrats who would vote for Ron. They believe in PEACE big time & ending the War on Drugs.
I'm going to go talk at my county's democrat meetings & try to get some to register republican so they can vote for Ron in the caucus. I've been very respectful to them & they appreciate it. I'm hoping that in turn, they will help Ron.
Ausscyn, You're A Political "Hero" !
If we could just open the eyes and minds of the millions of other voters. Ron Paul would be our new President in a landslide victory !
Thank you.
beesting
Serious question...
...would the Dems be willing to trade off their "Big government" beliefs for ending the wars on terrorism and drugs? With the economy being what it is these days, you'd think nobody would want anything with "Big government" and the economy is probably issues #1 and #1A in this election.
I have always been a "small government" guy and jumped on board the Paul campaign because I finally woke up and saw both parties were two different sides to the same coin. Ron Paul has nothing to do with that coin! It became an easy move for me. I can't imagine it being so easy for a Dyed-in-the-wool Dems voting for a RINO like Ron Paul. Especially someone so fiscally conservative.
This is probably the best
This is probably the best that this group of people, save one, has ever spoken of RP. It still wasn't real flattering, but at least they didn't say he couldn't win.
I must COMPLETELY DISAGREE with one thing said. Ron Paul WILL take votes away from Obama if there is a three person race at the end. Many dems want peace. Many dems have forgotten they wanted peace in 2008, but many still remember.
Good Point
That is a good point. When it comes down to it, true liberty will be supported once it becomes obvious no one else is for Liberty and ending these wars.
They Are Going To Prop Up 3-4 Candidates
Just watch
Santorum
Cain
Newt
Mittens
I wouldn't be shocked who they prop up BUT unlike the 07/08 cycle, they can't just have two candidates around or Ron Paul would DESTROY them simply due to those two odds are trashing each other and their voting records or history ALL THE WHILE we have someone like Ron Paul who would stick out like a sore thumb but in a good way.
They need to keep 3-5 campaigns funded to keep Ron's numbers down. They can't just have the two so we will see more cain and santorum and who knows who might make a SECOND BREAKOUT (lol the media is complete bullshit at this point).
I say bring it because the more republicans HAVE TO talk about the constitution due to Ron Paul being around and HAVE TO talk about foreign policy the better off the country will be.
Ron Paul would destroy obama and everyone knows it but the sad thing is, the republicans would rather lose an election to obama than have someone like Ron Paul elected which really shows how bad our country really is.
I have never seen a GOP be so against one of their own (so to speak) and they should back WHOEVER is red (as sad as our so called 2 party system is) but they will not back someone who is actually INLINE with the constitution.
We need our republic back but that does not mean any ol' republican will do.
There is a reason Ron Paul voters do not care what other candidates have to say. It is either the constitution or one of the others running and that goes for obama AND mittens and bachmann and the rest of the establishment chumps.
Pretend all they want to be TEA PARTY candidates, we all know who the real tea party is backing and it is NOT bachmann or pArry or any of that fluff.

Was anyone else
expecting an attack from Bill Kristol, and are surprised it never came?
Know what guys, they might not all out endorse Dr. Paul, but when I hear them talk about him, and not in a bad way, I'm encouraged! I'll take this as a win.
Kristol deferred to Hume
since he's his b 'itch.
"I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else where I was capable of thinking for myself." - Thomas Jefferson
He is still in mourning.
He is still in mourning. Give him time.
that got a chucke out of me.
apt comment.
Exotic
Somehow I feel the word exotic is he nicest adjective the msm have used in trying to illustrate Ron Paul's policy differences. Far better than the nearly defamatory words used in the past such as kooky, quixotic, fringe, or extreme. Seems like a step in the right direction.
Evolved
They have evolved due to necessity.
It won't be long..
until it is just Ron and a NeoCon or two. When that happens, the MSM will be forced to give Ron equal time and consideration. The "he can't win" will not fly anymore. Then once people see Ron in contrast to the establishment con men..it will be over and the flood gates will be opened.
FU Frank 2012!

How in the world do they come
How in the world do they come up with Romney as the inevitable nominee? It's like this. Rick Perry et al are falling, Ron Paul is winning, therefore Romney will be the inevitable nominee. There is no logic to that. It's so ridiculous that if anyone believes the media anymore, there's got to be something wrong with them mentally. But if you understand how the media et al are corporate-owned, it makes sense. Which candidates are getting big corporation donations? Which one will not be bought? Ok, out of all the candidates, if the one who isn't being bought is winning, well that means one of the biggest corporate-owned candidates is going to be the inevitable nominee. The corruption is right out there. Do they not know that the majority of people no longer watch their networks? We don't have time for BS.

Turning point.... & They chose not to talk about Cain
Although this was not an amazing piece on Ron Paul, I feel it was at least logical conversation. Points were brought up and they were answered with logic. This might be a turning point. They might realize that can not fully dismiss Ron Paul. Which is what they were saying. But I think on a more broad note I think the MSM realizes they need to sound intelligent when discussing Ron Paul.
Also did you notice when given the opportunity to talk about Herman Cain, they chose not to.
Over all, I feel this was a step in the right direction.
agree
I thought the chick was fair in her acknowledgment of MSM's propensity to down play Ron Paul's straw poll victories. I also noticed exactly what you were talking about with Cain, and when they mentioned the lower tier candidates that could still come up, they mentioned Cain with the rest of them, but did not at all mentioned that he's been on the rise in the last week or 2 (I'm no Cain fan, just being objective) with Perry's decline.
Overall though I thought they "appeared" to be giving more respect to Ron Paul. Whether that respect is genuine or not (save Juan) remains to be seen.
Baby Steps
That is exactly what I was eluding to. I think that they realized that they want to be at the head of the pack when it comes to acknowledging Ron Paul's attractiveness. (Note... I say acknowledge) despite the networks all being part of the same machine, They still compete with each other. Obviously they come out well ahead of CBS. I don't feel that we are still on a level playing field... But I do believe we took one step closer. All of us knew that this would be a difficult battle. So baby steps are expected with the MSM. I feel confident in saying that this is one of those "Baby Steps" in the right direction. Only time will tell.
I have been in this battle for over 5 years now and I'll be dammed if I will quit now!
WE ARE WINNING! Slowly but surely.
