The Problem With These Debates SO FARSubmitted by Robert Timsah on Wed, 10/12/2011 - 04:27
The problem with these debates are two things.
#1. Simply too many people in the debates right now. We're just gonna have to be patient. It's not all a conspiracy - there's just so many people to get to, and let's face it - the front runners GET MORE ATTACKS so they GET MORE REPONSES. That's just the nature of the beast right now. But as we roll along, eventually it'll be down to say 4. Then we can figure out where we are.
#2. The wars don't even begin to touch the ECONOMY as a major issue right now. At least not in these debates.. Yet, I would say Ron's best and most emotional issue is foreign policy. It's the ONE area where he can REALLY seperate himself from everyone else and to do so in an emotionally compelling way. He can also TIE it to the economy and our debt. He has to be able to bring this up in EVERY debate! If you notice, when he brings it up and gets into a skirmish on foreign policy - THAT'S when he does his best.
These two problems are really making it tough for Ron to stand out. And, before I forget - his eyebrows do need to be trimmed down. And I will admit - I was laughing pretty good at someone saying his eyebrows fell off - it was one of those I can't breath laughs too. But I have a twisted sense of humor. He's gotta get those things mowed.
But back to the debates.
I think we're just gonna have to be patient. This debate was rough because Ron never really got in a groove, but he was not the only one. I don't think anyone "won" the debate. Romney just got more face time and he never really answers questions.
Stay the course, soldiers!
Just my thoughts :)
