What would Perpetual Vetoes look like on the National StageSubmitted by OctoBox on Thu, 10/13/2011 - 16:49
I know what it looks like in my mind in the short-run, it looks like an awesome party we'd all love center seats for; but what would happen when RP Vetoes (as president) every single thing Congress brings to the floor -- Mr. No is also banking on his Mr. No-Compromise (that's what's getting him in office or near it anyway) -- so if there is ZERO compromise how does that affect people in the long-run?
How long do "they" go on watching before there's a false-flag that could've been prevented had one of the Vetoes not been fought or been fought so absolutely -- what's the aftermath? Let's say it's in regard to a crucial issue; like emergency funding to FEMA immediately after a flood or natural disaster (something Paul has railed against repeatedly) -- so he vetoes and gov't is at a logger-head and the state (at the epicenter) acts wrongly and thousands die; could "they" fals-flag something like this to engineer an impeachment?
My belief is that the President is truly a figure-head and is powerless (in truth) -- that the "decisions" he makes have been scripted for him or he's given leeway as long as he stays within the line-of-best-fit.
If you believe that too then wouldn't it be logical to say that RP's best role is that of educator and the Liberty Movement is best served in the free-market and not from a position of assumed absolute authority?
