Ron Paul : Fox News is "Scared of Me"

Paul: Fox News is 'scared of me'

By James Pindell December 29, 2007 01:40 PM

PLAISTOW, N.H. -- Ron Paul said the decision to exclude him from a debate on Fox News Sunday the weekend before the New Hampshire Primary is proof that the network "is scared" of him.
"They are scared of me and don't want my message to get out, but it will," Paul said in an interview at a diner here. "They are propagandists for this war and I challenge them on the notion that they are conservative."

Paul's staff said they are beginning to plan a rally that will take place at the same time the 90-minute debate will air on television. It will be taped at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown.

"They will not win this skirmish," he promised.

The Fox debate occurs less than 24 hours after two back to back Republican and Democratic debates on the same campus sponsored by ABC News, WMUR-TV and the social networking website Facebook.

Paul, the Republican Texas Congressman, was wrapping up his final day of campaigning in New Hampshire until the Iowa Caucuses on Thursday.

He spent much of the day campaigning at diners in Manchester and Plaistow and downtown walks in Derry and Exeter.

I think big difference is Dr. Paul has more money and we have Youtube now.

Has Fox News Excluded Ron Paul? pt. 2 (12/30/07)

On December 27, the Associated Press reported: "The New Hampshire Republican Party is sponsoring a forum for Republican presidential candidates on Jan. 6, two days before the state's first-in-the-nation primary." Later in the article, the AP stated: "Participating in the forum will be Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson."

On the evening of December 28, Jared Chicoine and Jordan Brown of our New Hampshire campaign staff met in person with Fergus Cullen the New Hampshire GOP chairman to discuss whether or not Dr. Paul would be invited to participate in the forum. Mr. Cullen confirmed there will be an event on January 6, but he could not confirm whether or not Dr. Paul would be invited. We also learned the event would not be a debate with an audience, but instead would be a forum in a closed studio with the candidates questioned only by Chris Wallace of Fox News.

A few hours after that meeting, we contacted Fox News seeking clarification. Later that night, we issued a press release while waiting to hear from Fox News.

On December 29, the Baltimore Sun featured a report by Jason George. Mr. George reported, "Calls and emails to Fox News spokespersons by the Tribune were not returned Saturday evening.

"An official at the New Hampshire GOP, which is co-sponsoring the event with Fox, said that Paul might still be included, but the planning for the debate was still coming together and it was ultimately Fox's call."

As of late afternoon today (December 30), we have nothing more to report.

To stab Faux in the heart, we should try to get the good Judge and Colmes to come to the good side.

Judge Andrew Napolitano:

Alan Colmes:

Its The NH Support

Fox knows that everybody in New Hampshire will cheer their asses off after every statement Dr Paul makes. They have been able to "rig the deck" as far as the audience goes in other states, but they can't find any neo-cons in NH and they can't broadcast what happens when NH voters hear Ron Paul's message!

Murdock supports Hillary

He gave $2300 to the Clinton campaign awhile back.

The Huckster... coming out of nowhere and without cash, now #1 in Iowa last month ... Hillary wants someone she can serve an atomic wedgie, the Huckster is the perfect "glass-jaw" opponent.

Has anyone confirmed this with the official campaign?
Did Ron Paul actually say what is quoted here?

The Great Fox Lock Out

If FoxNews means to lock out Dr Paul, we need to go to channel set-up or the baby sitter functions on our sets and the sets of our friends, relatives, all TV's we have access to (including the ones in the local Jiffy Lube waiting room and those at the health clubs we work out in) and lock out FoxNews and all it's affiliates.

Call your favorite out-of-state niece or nephew now and tell them to lock their daddies and mommies out of the bad, evil FoxNews.

And that's just for starters. Keep the email and snail mail flooding Fox News. To our British friends, flood SKY News with as much mail as you can. Tell Murdoch to be a man and pull Bill Kristol's neoconservative little mitts out of his panties and try to, at least, pretend to give lip service to the notion of "We report. You decide."

Remember, lay off the GOP in NH, but give FoxNews everything you've got!

Great Idea! But think

Great Idea! But think bigger! Pull an Oprah, move the rally to the nearest stadium and fill it up! Oh, and bring the blimp.

If we're bringing the blimp

Let's bring the tank too.

Blessing in Disguise

Like many of you I'm sure, I was very angry when I first heard of the censorship & fascism demonstrated by Fox News with the exclusion of Dr. Paul. But after thinking about it, this may be the best thing that could have happened to his campaign. Using me as an example, I know I will double my efforts to get the message out including donating even more than I probably would have -- and I'm sure I'm not alone. I honestly believe this will put an even bigger spotlight on Dr. Paul and his message when other people start wondering why he was left out. The Establishment is running scared & I'm loving every minute of it. Dr. Paul's message is so much bigger than this election, and will no doubt have a lasting impact on the political landscape, but I can't wait to take our country back in November 2008! Let's remind those who have highjacked our country that THE PEOPLE still have a voice. Thank you.

If we play it right....

Ron Paul will get more sympathy/exposure from being excluded in this forum. Let's hold a rally/Q &A at a neighboring spot, pack it with supporters and youtube it (or better, TV it)...

If you are pissed off with the status quo and the status quo deliberately excludes the top candidate, most people will have the rebellious inclination to ask "why is Ron Paul being excluded?"

Result: We win NH (as well)

Ron Paul, Educating America

BTW, loved RP's response....

There got to be a way to make Ron Paul as common as pizza.

pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza...humm...there got to be a way...

government of the people, by the people, for the people

That graph shows...

...very well the popularity of Ron Paul; it's an excellent example.

Even adding AIPAC's Hilliroid, Ron Paul is far more popular and sought after. Wonder why? :)

The Huckabee News reference volume makes me want to hurt somebody.

Deep breath... wooosaaawww.

"Victory for liberty! That is our goal, and nothing less. -- Ron Paul, December 17, 2007"

Ron Paul is my President.

look at the google search rate for huckabee vs. the news reference....this shows that ole shuck a duck huck is just a media straw man "frontrunner"

Fine, Ban dr. paul from the

Fine, Ban dr. paul from the debate. But i cant wait to see him take the state, hahaha.

Faux News

I just searched their website. The most recent article or video posted there was on Dec. 17th regarding the $ 6 million money bomb.

That must have scared the beejeebes out of them. Thus, the decision to exclude Ron Paul and his message from the American public and to quit reporting anything at all about his campaign.

Guess what? We have the Internet and it's much bigger than all of the OM put together.

The Politics of Bullsh*t

Most political campaigns and their selected candidates have, for the most part, become only BULLSHIT designed to entertain the masses with trivial issues.

Any reasonably intelligent, clear-minded person who is concerned about America and our children's future will be naturally attracted to Ron Paul and his message.

A perfect response!!! Fox is

A perfect response!!! Fox is not conservative and Dr Paul's quote was absolutely brilliant!

Does any informed American watch Fox "news"?

Rupert Murdoch and Fox News - yet another communist organization allowed to run rampant in America to confuse the public on important issues and to further dismantle our Republic.

With such a long list of transgressions against Americans in general, what more will it take before this abomination called Fox is driven into the gutter where it belongs?

Along with PNAC commie Bill Kristol's latest remarks, it's obvious that the criminals who have hijacked the USA and now occupy top positions in the government intend to minimize and discredit Ron Paul at all costs.

Help Needed

I know that everybody is going to want to go to the Ron Paul rally, but it would also help to have as many people as possible get into the debate. If there's enough of us, we might be able to form a "Ron Paul" chant on occasion. A hint to get in easier: pretend you're a fan of one of the other candidates. It's easy because the other candidates have so few true fans, and it'll help because the sponsors will think your presence will add to the positive audience reaction.

Brilliant Idea!

Wish I was in N.E. instead of Hawaii. Hope you get some traction with this. How would they deal with that!!!
