Billionaire Banker Andrew Beal has donated the max to Ron Paul's presidential campaign.

Cain forums freaking out again, GOOD! tHIS COULD BE HUGE FOR rON pAUL.

This is not good, it has been reported that billionaire banker D. Andrew Beal of Beal bank from Dallas Texas has donated the max of $5000 to Ron Paul's presidential campaign, Beal an advid poker player as well as online poker player may be disinfranchised with the federal government shutting down online poker sites to US players. If poker players find out that Ron Paul has been on their side to leagalize online gambling for all US players this could launch Paul to a whole new level.

I would

transfer my funds into this bank in a heartbeat, if they only had a branch in my city.
I don't keep much in the bank, but I'd keep what I had with this guy, just for his support of Ron Paul.

Great ammo for all your "rich" friends

who think that Ron Paul doesn't have a chance.

Ask what does this billionaire know that you don't know. Chances are your friends aren't billionaires but are impressed by those who are. When they start to understand that smaller limited government is the key to our recovery, they will start to come around to Ron Paul.

When you hit them with the info that Andrew has donated the max to Ron Paul, they might even feel that its okay for them to join the campaign.

In the words of Dr. Paul

Freedom is popular.

Get him to the rev pac

Imagine what sort of sweet online gambling ads they could run for them on a TON of poker sites and shows????

Here are a couple of articles

Here are a couple of articles about Andrew Beal. He seems to have a libertarian philosophy.

Awesome but... again, why boost a Cain site rankings?

For every link that gets posted and subsequent visits to that site it's search engine rankings go up.

I can see no possible good coming from wasting my time over there. Zero interest.

BTW - Where's the link to the article regarding the billionaire's donation?

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

There was no news article.

The Cain forum took the information from RPF here:

herman cain forums.....haha

herman cain forums.....haha is this another satire website?

Nope, not satire.

I've been nosing around there for a few days. The guy who runs it, "Constitution," seems like a pretty decent sort, who was turned off of Ron Paul by the rudeness of some supporters. The forum seems to have around 5000 folks signed up, but very few of them actually post anything.

Nobody there seems to have a clue why anyone would oppose the Federal Reserve, so I posted this to see if I could make a few heads spin. So far, no comments.

If I remember correctly

A big Poker association did endorse Ron Paul in 2008.

Wow! Recruit Beal to the

Wow! Recruit Beal to the Revolution SuperPAC !!!! No ceilings there ; )

He could unload a cool $10K or $100K? It would be amazing! Contact him and alert him of the skills at Revolution SuperPAC which he can witness himself when they release their ad on CNN during the GOP Debate!

Contact Billionare Beal, Let him know about Revolution Super PAC

This needs to be done Immediately, forget the 10k- 100k idea, more like 1 million-10 million, think about it he has probably won/ lost close to that at least once in a game!!! After all supporting doctor Paul is the surest thing we've got!!

He's smart enough to find the PAC, himself.

Besides, nobody likes a beggar.

For all you know, he has already donated to them, or is about to, and hounding him will make him change his mind.

Sheesh.

Looking for a rich white knight is against everything Ron Paul stands for.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Might be a great player to contact..and she's from New Hampshire

How far would you go if you played at World Poker Tour for the first time? When Annie Duke made her first major public appearance in the poker scene, she showed the world that females can play poker too. Many years of experience with cards and competition made her last until 14th place, and a total of $70,000 richer.

Annie was born in Concord, New Hampshire and educated in the prestigious St. Paul's prep school. Feeling like she never fit in there, she matriculated at Columbia University and tried her luck in the big city. Following her parents steps, she decided to become a teacher, but instead, she ended up at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in cognitive psychology

Did you read their discussion of "fiat" money?

If I could have posted, I would have said:

Isn't "fiat" money like an Italian currency, not as good as a Ferrari, but better than a Vespa?

Feel free to post that if you wish. It's what those Empty Cranium Cainiums deserve.

not to be mean..

but those forums are flat out silly. You can tell its TV watchers commenting.. or maybe TV believers?

I cut out TV when FOX censored Ron in rebroadcast after a debate. All their comments are based on press, not philosophy. I think that is what truly separates a Paul supporter from the establishment supporters.

Just my thoughts. Thanks for the post.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

An Austrian ?

If this Beale is the guy I think it is, then he made a stir in banking circles several years ago when he announced that his bank would only accept Certificates of Deposit and not ordinary checking deposits, etc.

Such a policy eliminates one of the primary objections to fractional reserve banking because it eliminates the problem of creating multiple claims to the same money, provided that the maturity of assets and liabilities are matched.

I remember hearing about it at the time, and thinking that it was curious that a real bank would adopt such a policy. I figured it was a marketing gimick or something at the time. But if this guy has a track record of donating to libertarians, this policy may be founded on principle. He may actually be trying to run an "honest bank" in a world where traditional fractional reserve banking has become institutionalized.

Anyway, I know that this is an obscure topic, but I thought some of you might find it as interesting as I did.
