Ron Paul was ten feet tall at this debate.
The expensive suits, slick-backed hair, and pancake makeup were all no match against the Congressman from Texas.
Awesome to behold how one 76 year young man could destroy this field of presidential candidates so decisively.
You Got That Right Steve........
Ron Paul was definitely on top of his game at this debate.
yah and he got TEN percent?
yah and he got TEN percent? What gives?
Loot at..
all the other candidate rushing to shake Ron hand at the end. They know the writing is on the wall.

Ron Paul... kicking ass and
Ron Paul... kicking ass and taking names.
Oh how I wonder, oh how I worry
And I would dearly like to know
How all this squander of earthly plunder
will leave us anything to show
I missed this debate
Anybody know where I can find it streaming online? or maybe even a replay on cable tv? Thanks for any ideas.
Want to watch it myself when time permits.

Ron Paul is a Hero
He handled this debate wonderfully against the most difficult situation. He makes every second count. He tells the pure truth and finds the essential position on the question/issue.
We all know the media is pro-Obama, pro-Romney and anti-Paul. We not only have to beat Romney and Obama, but we have to beat the media. That is some crock of S.
BTW is it me, or does Romney have a smirk or evil smile when other people are talking...like he is some rich elite guy above any other human in the room ?

Something is Wrong with this Poll
I voted with 10 people just a few minutes ago that was 11 for Paul and Paul's precentages fell with each vote. There is some BS going on there.
"This isn't what the govern meant"
"Win the crowd and you will win your freedom"
I just checked...
Well, RP went down slightly after I voted, but now he's up half a percent.... so, I dunno...

Question?
If we polled everyone in last nights debate. who would they they say won.Watch the video every time Ron is speaking they are all paying very close attention.
freedumb is not free!
Should have called the others out on the Mexican border insanity
Probably the good doctor's best performance in a while (primarily because he seemed to get a bit more time to talk than in the last two "debates"), but I will say that I was very disappointed that after all the mouth-breathing warmongers trumped one-another on what they would do about illegal immigration, that Ron didn't call them all out as a bunch of insane racists. Perry or Santorum (I forget which) proposed flying predator drones along the Mexican border! I was so anxious for Ron to step in and be the voice of peace but he dropped the ball there. :(
The Dr. deserves an Emmy for this performance.

Israel isnt my friend... I dont hate them, but I dont know them
so why should I elect somebody to give my money to them?
that is all Ron Paul had to say.

"give me control of my own permaculture and I care a lot about what makes law"

Ron Paul was the only adult
Ron Paul was the only adult on that stage, the rest were all a bunch of whining children. How embarrassing for the Republican Party who shuns the adult in favor of these children.
Who Won the Debate Poll? Go to theblaze.com & Vote
I just voted for Ron of course and he is in second place (:, 29% vs Cain @ 30%. This is Glen Beck's website. I am going to go donate to the money bomb now. Have a great day all!
PS This morning several news sources are still ignoring Ron Paul, not one mention of him at all in the debates! I cannot believe it after he gave a great performance.

OMFG Americans
I know everybody here loves Ron Paul like but why are most Americans so stupid? I mean seriously I am Canadian and it took me 5 minutes to know that Ron Paul is clearly the best choice. It makes me mad as hell that the American people are so dumb to vote for anyone else other that Dr.Paul. Can we have him if you guys don't make him president. Like George Carlin nicely put it, you have no choice, you only have the illusion of choice. In pizza terms, All other candidates all basically pizza, and you are only choosing the toppings. Choose Ron Paul, choose the awesome pie.
i am melancholy this morning...
in sober thoughtfulness, i am concerned now
our man, during a cutaway to commercial, was shown walking away from his lecturn
he looked old and worn, worn from a beautiful LIFETIME of trying to do what is right to save this country
the disrespectful and despicable CNN audience, at one time, laughed at his cost cutting proposals, they scoffed at his plan to stop ALL foreign aid (including israel)
i am so PROUD of Dr. Paul for what he has done and for his lifelong struggle to WAKE ME UP!
but now, i fear, we, as a country, won't have the intelligence to defeat the statists...we are really down to our last chance
donating our money and our time in the precious few months we have left is all that we can do
this is truly our last opportunity to change this country through the ballot box
i will work harder than ever now to get RP elected...i pray we have a hail mary left inside all of us
its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
Defeat CORKER! Bailed out the banks. In training to steal more.
Defeat ALEXANDER! Career traitor! Handsomely rich in a poor Nation.
I saw that too.
There was a cut away where Ron looked very tired. He turned from the podium and walked toward the wall further back kind of hunched over as other candidates talked with each other.
I firmly believe that Ron Paul is our ONLY chance. And I seriously have another country in mind - many friends there, to move to if he doesn't win.
The great (not just good) Doctor will certainly pick a Vice President who will be able to carry the torch if age (ALWAYS unpredictable in its effects) catches up with him. Doctor Paul is the most intelligent person I have ever known of and NOT in this for himself - that is for sure. I am sure he has thought of that possibility as well and will do what is right if the worst happens within four years or eight years.
But we need to get him elected and worry about these things later.
Ron Paul should have been elected at age 72 in 2008 instead. But 76, 80, 84 even 88 years old I would rather have him than anyone else.
Hey, a 100 year old guy ran a marathon in Toronto last weekend and finished. If a 100 year old guy can do that - Ron can certainly do this.
have you seen the same debate
have you seen the same debate as I have? I am not so sure...

You are correct when you say
You are correct when you say this is our last chance. Our last chance for true liberty and freedom.
NO
What do you think Ron would say if he heard something like that? What happened to being the change you want to see? So let me get this right. If Ron loses and retires from politics, The Daily Paul is closing it's doors? Everyone that was inspired by Ron Paul's vision for America is just going to climb back into their sorry state of apathy? The fight for Liberty and Freedom should not be gauged by a Election but whether there are those that are willing to fight for it until their last breathe. Now is not the time to be thinking about any type of defeat. Hold the Line folks and Inspire!!

"O Captain! My Captain! Rise up and hear the bells!"
"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"
As mentioned below all the
As mentioned below all the other candidates (except Perry) seem to have tremendous respect for Ron Paul as a wise elderly statesman's.
When the debate is over and they are out of debate mode, they all run over to him, friendly smiling and trying to shake his hand.
Even they know he is right and on to something, even if they can't fully grasp it.
i think full debate gives a better context
the mood is important and many times candidates' responses, including paul's, are in context and direct responses to other speakers asked the same question or those that answered directly one or two speeches prior.. if you just see it in highlights many of the responses will appear fragmented or ill explained, but that's because some other candidates already gave other parts of the answer and rp is just getting deeper and following up on it. full debate gives the context required.
Yes, and what I saw during
Yes, and what I saw during the full debate was really quite grotesque...the other candidates were bickering back and forth the entire time; hemming and hawing, attacking and back biting. Only Ron Paul answered the questions and offered strategic policy and principles.
My dream Ron Paul debate rant.
For the remainder of the debates, Ron needs to dispense with the Fed talk, the business cycle, bailouts, and all that. He has repeated himself ad-nauseum and starting to sound like a broken record. Those who care get it, those who don't never will.
This is the rant I would like to hear...
Anderson Cooper: "Rep Paul, what separates you from the other candidates?"
RP: "The difference is folks to the right and left of me are all STATISTS!
Mr. Santorum would like to send more of YOUR kids to die in the foreign wars he's so fond of.
Mr. Romney would force you to pay fat insurance companies, perferably the ones financing his campaign.
Mrs. Bachmann wants to take your money and give it to Israel. Thinks poor people should pay more taxes - for Israel, I assume.
Mr. Perry is fine with vaccinating your children WITHOUT your consent.
Mr. Cain thinks you should pay 9% Federal sales tax in addition to your State sales tax.
All of them are apparently ok with this massive debt because no one has provided a plan to cut spending!
All of them have big plans for your money. None of them care about your rights!!"
This rant would be within the 30 seconds and really drive the message home. I would love to hear it. Just waiting...
SUGGESTION on FINAL DEBATE~~~~to make one FINAL point in 1 min.
It is essential that Ron MUST make the final point of how he is different than all the rest of the candidates & take a FULL MINUTE to make this point, NO MATTER WHAT. He can certainly graciously escape any question (immigration, taxes, even the economy) to quickly switch & say that "before the end of this debate, I must make one very important point right this minute regarding Obama"~~~((they will listen if he says--regarding Obama)
"OBAMA broke THE BIGGEST CAMPAIGN PROMISE he made to ALL THE DEMOCRATS~~& that is that he NEVER brought our boys home as he had promised. And, I am the ONLY ONE of all the candidates including Obama who will do this; furthermore, I am the ONLY ONE who can be trusted to do this; therefore, I am the ONLY ONE who can defeat Obama!" ((applause dies down--Ron, do not look at the moderator~~that is essential at this point.))
....then, quickly add:
"Lastly, I am the ONLY ONE who all the boys massively donate to, more than anyone on this stage, including Obama himself. That tells me they WANT TO COME HOME, and I want to BRING THEM HOME"; and I can do it AND get the economy going in the right direction IF YOU THE PEOPLE WILL SUPPORT ME! And, YES, I CAN beat Obama." Thank you.
ROARING APPLAUSE!
That sort of rant would enable
every one of the contenders to 30 seconds to try to make Paul look foolish. The only winner would be Gingrich.
