Money is never a public interest. It is always private interest which is why when government gets involved in the economy, such as the banking cartel, it always ends up benefiting someone's private interest. This is why I am more and more suspicious of the federal reserve. It is a private bank that is allowed to run everything. I doubt they care about the 'common good' and are just filling their own private pockets.

Amazing some people (the Ron Paul's of their day) had the foresight to see what lays ahead if a certain path should be chosen.

And yet its depressing not enough people listened to take corrective action, just like today. America has been asleep now for 100 years and I sure hope they wake up soon.

People were much better educated a hundred years ago. And yet, the conspirators were able to push the Federal Reserve legislation through as a means to "control" what was then known as the "Money Trust". Just as the Department of Energy was created for the benefit of the big oil companies, and the Department of Education for the Education Lobby, the Federal Reserve institutionalized the Trust.

This is why the Founders were emphatic that government's power be strictly limited, and that is what they put in the Constitution. The American people have allowed our politicians to ignore that document. The result is that special interests have bought politicians. That is really what campaign contributions from corporations and special interest groups are. That and retirement jobs - payback for a job well done.
