Wow, it looks like the attack phase has started

Now that Ron Paul has put forth a very good plan that people would be really hard pressed to attack substantively, by looking at blog comments around the web this morning it looks like we are now entering the attack phase of Gandhi's famous path to winning quote.

The ignorant name calling has seriously ramped up. Some of the comments I read I almost laugh at because it shows complete ignorance of Paul's positions.

Is it any wonder why the establishment doesn't like

Ron Paul? He wants to slash a bunch of their do-nothing, big money churning, departments. They know that he'll do it. Hooray. Every hard working American, (what few that are left) ought to be applauding this loudly.

This is why bloggers, myself

This is why bloggers, myself included, must release articles of praise. A defense measure, explain the economic benefits and reasons why each department must go. What the outcomes will be.

During the next debate, Ron will be attacked on it, and people will go to google, when they searh, our blogs and articles will come up.

Well, that's to be expected.

Ignorant thinking breeds ignorant action.

Came across this in my teacher's manual for my son's history textbook:

Various invaders swept in to pick apart the crumbling Roman Empire. But Rome had already wasted away from its addiction to welfarism and political and moral corruption long before the barbarians ever arrived. “Eternal Rome” contained the seeds of its own destruction: established by force and violence; a withdrawal from traditional values; the collapse of family ties; rampant immorality; and a debilitating welfare state.

Those who are ignorant of history are destined to repeat it.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

I believe

that's why he hasn't brought it out before now. The attacks are inevitable and he knows that. They'll attack him on the loss of job associated with closing down those branches and a number of others.

It's okay, he's an economic genius, the world is waking up to that. It's likely to get rocky for a bit but he'll stick to his guns and his supporters, political and the average people, will stick by him.

These things won't be done overnight either and he'll hopefully point that out. I also hope, closing the Fed and bringing the troops home are part of that.

Those two items are big in American minds.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.
