Revolution PAC censorship or something more dire?

Why would Revolution PAC not want me to promote the "ARMED CHINESE TROOPS IN TEXAS" video?

This is the message I received.

they probably just want to

they probably just want to host the video only on their account, because at the end it has the click here thing that only works from their account

Don't feel bad....

They have to protect copyright against all comers or they can't protect it against anybody. Which means even defending it from friends. If they let you get away with copyright violation, then Paul enemies could get away with it also.

So buck up and get over it. Maybe tomorrow will make you feel better

I recommend contacting

I recommend contacting Revolution Pac. Ask them 2 questions:

1) Did you file a complaint against my youtube channel for copyright infringement of your "ARMED CHINESE TROOPS IN TEXS" video?

2) May please have your permission to reproduce this video? I love the message and want to spread it.

Chances are the reply would be 1) no., and 2) yes!

Then you got it in writing from REVPAC (I just made that up... Sounds good I think...), and then there's not a darn thing Youtube can say about it! w000t!

Did you upload it to your account?

Maybe with superpac's there is a rule, I don't know but it seems there are more rules with superpacs.

I uploaded it to my account.

If RevolutionPac has a problem, I respect that, but if its just the fact the the video was getting a lot of view, I got a major axe to grind.

checked out your channel

nice. Subscribed and added as friend.

fellow Patriot.

In all honesty

It comes down to money/donations. If people are viewing the video that they made on your channel, that means they are getting less foot traffic onto their website which as you might or might not know asks for donations in order to have then "publish" these awesome pro-Paul videos. You can't fault them for that reason alone. Trust me, I know how you must feel but if you stand back and take a look you'll see the reason behind their actions.

And my reply to them.

I find it highly unlikely that a video of mine was declared copywrite infringement by the group that I have supported, both with my actions and my money.

It appears more likely that the owners of YouTube find the material objectionable to the people who this video is directed against.

"Armed Chinese Troops in Texas" by the Revolution Pac, is a speech given by Dr. Paul, whom I have supported for many years.

Someone can make a claim, but no chance by the accused to plead a case. Sounds wrong in my book.

But I know what is really going on, YouTube is owned by people who want to keep the population ignorant of the really important things going down.

What about the copyrights

on the Hendrix 9 to the Universe?

Some record company owns that.
Maybe they are the one with the copyright complaint.

The complaint specifically mentions Revolution Pac as the accuse

Yeah I copied their video and put in on my page to spread the message, but I find it hard to believe that they would lodge a complaint against me, because I gave them full credit in the MORE INFO section.
