Fox News - When Life Hands You Lemons

Ron Paul has been barred from the upcoming Fox News debates to take place on January 6, 2008. This is outrageous, but exactly in character with the Media.

While many Ron Paul supporters see this as an obstacle, here is an idea that could potentially turn the situation into an opportunity: Why not have Ron Paul address the same questions that will be asked of Fox’s darling candidates? Although Paul may not be allowed inside their forum, the last time I checked he has every right to stand outside.

When a question is asked during the debate, Ron Paul will have the opportunity to answer that same question. This will require that someone records the questions asked, and has them ready for Paul. Ron Paul will have the latitude to expound on these questions, and answer them entirely with no time restrictions.

While this would inadvertently embarrass Fox News for their blatant discrimination against Ron Paul, the genuine intention of this tactic would be to reach millions upon millions of people who are straining their ears to hear some truth.

This could be an opportunity for another network to hone in on what will likely be 90 minutes of terrific ratings, but if that fails to occur then this whole event can be “televised” on the Internet. After all, anyone who has Internet access, a camera and microphone is a reporter. Anyone with a website has their own news network. Who needs Fox? Let’s broadcast Ron Paul ourselves. Ron Paul supporters are capable of great things.
