Exclusion from Debate Still a Rumor!

0 votes

Please remember that until FOX issues some sort of statement about this, it is all just a big RUMOR! We cannot allow them to get us all worked up on rumors. I am glad that we have all these plans in place if in fact they try to exclude Dr. Paul, but just please please remember, at this point, even with the AP report, FOX has NOT commented on this, and thus it is an unsubstantiated rumor. In other words, FOX is still able to simply say, "oh...we aren't excluding Dr. Paul and we never intended to, but my oh my would you look at all these emails we got from Paul supporters hammering us for nothing." Untill they issue a statement, we have nothing to go on. Until then, just consider all these plans in response as contingency measures, but don't get all fired up until we get it from the source.

NOT a DONE DEAL

Let's just say this is not a 'done deal'.

Please stay tuned on this, keep a cool head, and as always, do NOT blame or bombard the NH GOP.

And even if the outcome is not good, we have plenty of things we can do for rallies, forums, etc...

I really do

wish there was better information available. All Ron Paul's site says is that the AP and NH GOP has reported this and that the campaign is looking into why FOX has apparently excluded him.

I'm not saying it's not true, but I am wary of being setup. I would like the campaign headquarters to give us something more definitive. I want more evidence before I invade, so to speak.

Campaign fueling the rumor too

It seems that the official campaign is fueling the rumor as well. Seems a bit irresponsible, unless they're just trying to hype the debate up.

Honestly, I doubt

that Ron Paul went off like that, saying that Fox is scared of him. That has not been posted on his website. The Boston Globe ran that story, and did not cite it's source for the supposed Ron Paul quote about Fox being scared. WE of all people should know very acutely is that just because its in the news doesn't make it true. It is not like the patient Dr. Paul to shoot off his mouth like that based on a rumor. I would bet money that was a misquote or that the Boston Globe had a bogus source.

get out from under that rock

The official campaign and Ron Paul himself has commented publicly on this.

Will you wait until the forum has come and gone before you believe it? Or will you wait for Fox to "report fair and balanced" on this.

Just looking at the facts

FOX has not commented, and untill they do, we have nothing to go on. I know Ron Paul has commented on this, but they may have been premature. They also said they are trying to contact FOX, meaning of course that they have NOT yet heard from FOX. No I don't think we should wait until the forum has "come and gone," but I seriously doubt that they will wait very long at all before commenting. If it becomes apparent that they are stonewalling us, that is another story, but right now it has been less than 24 hours. We just need to wait for their statement.

Too late

The inmates in the asylum were out in full force last night and the damage to the campaign has already been done..Now it's time to assess the damage, she if it can be reversed, and try and do something positive on the Eve of the Iowa caucus..

Hmmm

If anything, I think we may have called their bluff ;-)

For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.

Assess the damage?

What damage? This has rallied the troops!!!
