It's up to us to elect Ron Paul to make sure this actually happens.

REALITY
1. Troops from Iraq come home to then be redeployed to Iran or wherever else elite want to protect corporate oil and energy interests.
2. Private Contractors hired increase and stay in Iraq at greater cost to taxpayer since salaries significantly higher than new military recruits brainwashed and sent as the minimum wage protectors of the energy interests. Whose going to guard the billion dollar embassy?
3. Obama's timing purely political orchestration to appear to be doing the right thing and build momentum for his reelection as king.
4. Most people will buy this BS from the MNS spin. Everyone wants these people home from fighting for lies most of them do not even understand, but once again all choreographed to perpetuate the fraud of the warmongering corporate fascist elite. There are no republicans or democrats, just two sides of the same coin keeping us distracted.

I'm in Iraq right now. We are all happy to be heading out.
Good luck to the Iraqi people. This place has good farmland, water, and plenty of oil. It has a long history of civilization, one of the longest. The Iraqis will do just fine without Uncle Sam spending blood and treasure here. Or maybe not. It's up to them now, as it should be.
Invaders come and they go. History marches on. Hopefully, we Americans will tend to our own garden now. Unlikely, unless people wake up to Ron Paul.

What a surprise, to receive a comment from a soldier I am assuming in Iraq. Thank you for your service. You all deserve a Huge Welcoming Home When You Arrive back in America!! I hope you never have to go back. We are doing all we can to get Ron Paul elected so you don't have to go back. Please stay in touch with us and God Bless you, your family and all the troops in Iraq.

Gus,
would you consider sharing what you posted with RP and his campaign? You may have said more than you think and I believe it would be worth it.
Godspeed to all of you.

The commenters are all praising Obama for this, despite the authors writing things like this plainly in the article:
"More than 4,400 American military lives have been lost since the start of the war in March of 2003, and more than 100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed, according to Iraq Body Count, which cross-checks news reports with hospital and other official data. As of March, the war had cost the U.S. $806 billion.
Under an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in 2008, U.S. troops were due to end their mission in Iraq by the end of 2011. But for much of this year, Obama and his advisers have been trying to find a way to retain some troop presence in the country."
Also, "100,000 dead citizens"; how despicable.

More lies!
I don't expect many to believe this lie.
Probably what is happening is that they are just changing their name from "troops" or "soldiers" to "contractors".
They (the banking cartel who runs our gov't) will have to keep thousands there to keep running the opium plantations.
We have a criminal rogue gov't.
That's what Ron Paul is running against, and hell has unleashed her fury against the doc, simply omitting him from the news for now.

I just sent this Letter To
I just sent this Letter To The Editor of my local paper:
President Obama announced on October 21, that he will order all of our troops out of Iraq by the end of 2011. Good call. Now what about Libya, Afghanistan, Uganda, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan? Our brave men and women volunteered to defend this country, not to police the rest of the world. That's why our troops donate more of their personal money to one presidential campaign than to all other candidates put together. Support our troops, and join them in donating at www.RonPaul2012.com

Super Letter!
What State are you from? Newspaper? Very smart idea that will reach a lot of voters and hopefully get new people to register for the first time and vote for Ron Paul.

USS Abraham Lincoln
We already have mobile embassies.
now we need
the rest of the GOP candidates to jump up and down about this being a bad idea so Dr. Paul can pull ahead even further.

I think that this is the nail
I think that this is the nail in the coffin for the other Republican candidates. The real reason for the withdrawal aside, no Republican candidate preaching more war is going to win over a war weary electorate by saying we need to attack Iran etc. after Obama just brought our boys home from Iraq. Now more than ever we need to drive the message home, Ron Paul is the only candidate who can beat Obama. He has said it himself, the peace candidate always wins.
I'll believe it when I see it.
I spent all the 'Hope' I had in Obama in 2008. If he has lied to us for 3 years about countless things, why should we believe him now?
The good Dr.
has a new ad entitled "End Foreign Wars". Coincidence?
I am glad our boys will be coming home. Too bad it is 10
years and a trillion dollars later.
SOFA - Bush negotiated this in 2008
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S.–Iraq_Status_of_Forces_Agreement
Bush and Cheney negotiated this in 2008 after the Iraqi government said that our troops would have to obey their laws. Some critics at the time also thought it was to strip power from Obama as the Bush admin was leaving.
Interestingly, I was posting a respectful thing about Dr. Paul wanting to bring the troops home from Iraq, and a liberal poster asked if I knew that they were already heading home due to SOFA. This was a few days ago.

How many of Blackwater
How many of Blackwater contract thugs are going to stay. They privatize wars now.
They are kicking us out,
we are not leaving because we want to! This is the big myth. The Iraqi government and people are basically demanding that we leave. We wanted to stay a bit longer and leave a bit of a presence there, but they said NO. Now the administration wants to spin it to make it look like the president did something besides tuck his tail and say OK we'll leave..
