This is awesome. I would take what she says at face value. She

endorsed Rand, and Rand won.

Debbie

Like her or hate her

She sided with Ron because he was right. I would not vote for her but I appreciate her not being afraid to bring up Ron on MSM and she's still sexy (I never voted for sexy FYI.)

I came to the comments to say the same thing.

I think her being sexy and her sticking up for Ron Paul are related.

Beautiful women are more friendly towards liberty than ugly women. My sister, my mom, and my grandmother are libertarians. Perfect examples.

of course, she does...

first, cain began parroting Dr. Paul, look what happened to him

then, bachmann and santorium (just to stay alive)

even parry said to "get out of the United Nations" in one of the last debates

the party line is now to dilute the congressman's lone, sole, voice in the wilderness so EVERYBODY doesn't flock to him

she needs to crap or get off the pot as we say down here in the south

is this endorsement good enough for you?

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...

9/11 Truth.

Sarah Palin? Don't make me laugh.

I don't trust her any farther than I can swing a cow by the tail.

NEXT!

I don't trust her either...

but many neocons do.

A signature used to be here!

We need to send this to CNN.

We need to send this to CNN. Remember "If you can get video of Sarah Palin or get a sound bite from her, bring that back to us. You can hold the Ron Paul stuff". http://youtu.be/4m-_ACZpNqg

Kinda hard to do both now. Take THAT!

Who agrees with everything

Who agrees with everything anyone ever says?

It always sounds so discriminatory. "Everything he says" is philosophically consistent. We all know where he stands.

No one ever says, "Even if you didn't agree with everything he said, Thomas Jefferson was a great President."

EDIT: Why can't they just say "You know Ron Paul is right on this issue", instead they make it sound like he's some hated minority that social conservatives demonize.

Check out http://ronpaulforums.com for activism and news.

That's a very very good

That's a very very good point! What they are doing when they say, "Even if you don't agree with everything Ron Paul says..." is basically apologizing for quoting or giving credit to Ron Paul. It's as if Palin was saying "Sean I know you hate Ron Paul and all, but you gotta admit he's right on this one."

As much as I detest Sarah Palin this is a huge step in our direction. The heart of neoconservatism is foxnews and for two of their big stars-Hannity and Palin to give Ron Paul credit marks a major shift. I personally think Rand is winning Hannity over more and more to our position.

Don't make me say it...please!

Ugggggggghhhhhhhhh! "Thank you, Sarah." There, I said it!

Now having her and Sean actually talking positively about RP is pretty huge on FOX, we all recognize that. I think more (Britt Hume, Juan Williams, etc) are also supportive, even if now in limited fashion. Even Rush L. finds himself now tipping a hat to our guy.

I think this bodes well of a tide that is turning, even if it is doing so against its own will (lol). But they know Mitt can't carry the South or conservatives, Perry has shown his true colors now too many times, Cain will eventually blow out or blow over as monies are not reflected in his recent popularity. So WHO'S LEFT?!

Oh, that's right...the guy that is "MR. Constitution," who is "MR. Conservative" and has the most enthusiastic support base in any campaign, who is bringing NEW BLOOD into a dying party. Could it be they are starting to FINALLY come around???

Stay tuned...:-)

official endorsement please?

didn't she support him early in the last election cycle? an official endorsement would definitely get us some extra votes this time. maybe he can give her one of those cabinet positions of the disappearing departments, i bet she'd be good at helping to bring one of those suckers down.

I'm leery of Palin

This is the same person in an interview years ago who said concerning about potential war with Ossetia and Ukrainian that the US ought to keep all options open to intervene for Ossetia as a newly-minted member of NATO. I believe Palin is a chicken-hawk/war-monger at heart, and only commented on Ron Paul to ride on his coat tails of growing popularity. She's just trying to keep her name in the news, that's all.

Call me tin-foil hat crazy, but I think the former critics of Ron Paul who are playing nice do so because they think RP is "so old" that he might kick the bucket soon--And hope to win over Dr. Paul's grieving followers into their camp in the event that happens.

Nothing would sicken me more than to hear these hypocrites praising Dr. Paul up and down in such a eventuality. Paranoid thinking? Maybe. But experience has taught me that politicians are capable of doing anything to win.

So am I but...

...an endorsement would be a huge bump for Paul. And behind the scenes he should be courting her for one, and be prepared to offer her a position of value in his administration. I know none of like how that game is played but he ***HAS*** to play it. Her endorsement could knock down a a large mental barrier some voters have against Paul.

Weather she would actually endorse him I can't say. I'm pretty sure Palin's husband is a fan of Ron Paul. And I think she was too at one point. She would be sticking it to the GOP establishment, which I think she would like to do. She already endorsed Rand Paul, and did so early on when it wasn't clear he would win.

At this point, since she isn't running, there is nothing to be gained by bashing Palin, and possibly something to be gained by wooing her.

In short, RP supporters should be saying nice things about her, for Ron Paul's sake.

“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.” William Pitt

I think this is great....

It is explicit evidence that Dr. Paul's efforts are bearing fruit and that more people are listening to him than even we might think.

WTF! on faux news?? sarah

WTF! on faux news?? sarah palin is a polarizing figure though, there are some who love her and the rest think shes a moron. While she may not be an intellectual giant, dont underestimate her political savvy. I believe Palin and Hannity are the way to get to the foxnews voters. Hannity has been very favorable of RP lately and especially Rand. Palin endorsed Rand over an establishment candidate. As we've seen, all it takes is a week or so of swooning by the media and you can make 30 point jumps in the polls.

That hair piece

that she has pinned onto the top/back of her head ain't doing her any favors.
It makes her look like a Cone Head.

Not surprising

Never seen quotes from Palin to indicate that she wouldn't be a Ron Paul fan. Remember, she was one of the first major political figures to endorse Rand for Senate in 2010. Not saying she is 100% on board with the Ron Paul platform, but who says she has to be. We'll take friends where we can find them.

2007

Right here on the DP was the first mention of Sarah Palin I ever heard. Somebody suggested she might make a good VP for Ron Paul.

This was at least a year before she ever came to light again as McCain's running mate.

She's not running for office (she tried it and hated it; had to quit as governor), so please don't start a discussion about her merits or demerits as running mate (I'm sick of them).

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

agreed

Once upon a time I thought she might be a good candidate for Pres or VP, but for me that time has passed. However I do think she has pretty far reaching influence as a commentator. I still admire her as a person but I don't think running for (and winning) public office is in her future. Not after resigning from Governor of Alaska.

Good clip...thanks.

But aren't you tired of the disclaimer, "Whether you accept what he says or not..." [or something of that form].

Wouldn't it be GREAT to just once hear someone support him without using that disclaimer...sigh...

Why Did She Say It?

Not so fast: why did she say it? Most often, when people add the disclaimer, they do it in advance of the quote in order to disarm the listeners' defenses.

In other words, they are about to say something they expect the listeners to reject because of the source, but they're trying to get them to listen anyway.

While it would be nice if it wasn't necessary, the necessity comes from the public, not the speaker.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

But she said,

"Whether you agree with everything he says or not...",

which to me means the other "stuff" is out there but this one thing is "OK".

Perhaps almost 4 years of dismisal has made me overly sensitive and a bit defensive.

Thank you Sarah Palin

Thank you Sarah Palin

Where is the full interview? Anyone?

So far it seems that Sara Palin uses Ron Paul to school Sean Hannity-Insanity on the right and wrong of Foreign Policy.

Ouch! That is one snowball that Sean wasn't expecting!
